[*]Membership: The Jiwe tribe is one of the few Sandalian tribes who do not accept outsiders, even those of Sandali heritage. After the fall of the Sandali Empire, they will not intermingle with the other tribes. The tribe has nearly ten thousand members, stretching over the span of the planet's mountain ranges. When born into the tribe, every member must face the Sandali warrior trials so they may prove themselves a true warrior, if they fail these trials they are forced into the gatherers caste.
[*]Climate: The Jiwe are proud and honorable, however they do not shy from shedding blood over matters some would consider trivial. The people of the tribe are often considered aggressive and short of temper. They prefer to be left to their own, never having to suffer the distraction of outsiders, as such you can easily be executed through ritual combat if you are caught tresspassing in their land.
[*]Reputation: The Jiwe were once the leaders of the Sandali Empire, after the Empire fell and the tribes split once again the Jiwe were scorned by all of the other tribes and that hatred has bled into modern years.
[*]Curios: The Jiwe, like all tribes, tattoo their warriors upon completion of their trials. The Jiwe's tattoos are sphereical in nature, to represent the first stones that fell from the mountains and grew to become the founding members of the tribe.
[*]Rules: The Jiwe follow the rule of Strength. All dsputes are settled through ritual combat that ends by yield or death. The tribe is one of the few that do not believe in taking captives in times of war. They will either release their enemies to fight another day, or kill them to end their dishonor.
[*]Goals: In recent years the Jiwe are more focused on the survival of their ways, though their Elders wish to see the Sandali Empire reborn under their leadership.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The people of the Sandali Tribes often disagree over which people came first. However, the Jiwe ardently believe themselves to be the first of their kind. The planet of Sandala has a number of mountain ranges that cover the world's surface. Most of these ranges are interconnected and make the lands that the Jiwe hold dominion over. In the ancient texts, it states that the Sandali god, Qifo was locked in a duel of honor against her elder brother and husband, Maisha. The two had been dueling all morning, and Qifo had been keeping the wargod at bay with her bow. She fired an arrow at her husband, intent to disarm him, but when he dodged the arrow it slammed into the side of the mountain. The shot was so powerful, the stones that fell from the mountain rolled down into the valley, growing arms and legs as they did. When they reached the bottom of the mountain, they were men and women gazing at the great duel the gods were having and from this duel the Jiwe learned how to wage war.

Although the story was no more than a legend, the Jiwe still hold to it as a true story of their inception into the world. Before the strike of the Gulag plague it had been the Jiwe elders who called the tribes together to meet under a banner of peace. Under that banner, the Jiwe chief was named Warchief of all the clans after defeating all the other chieftains in combat and claiming their tribes as his own.

Following the Gulag plague, the Jiwe leaders kept the title of Warchief, and their tribe has remained the largest of all the tribes. They are in the midst of a war with the other tribes of Sandala, a conflict that has lasted since the beginning of the Gulag plague and is not likely to end soon.
