The Remnant is loosely aligned with the Resistance, with its organization still scattered and undefined due to the rapid development of the Order. In its infancy, many Jedi instead join the Resistance Military or fill advisory roles to the Commanders and Government Officials.
THE JEDI REMNANT
The Jedi Temples that had stood for years are no more. The New Jedi Order and the Silver Jedi have been driven from their long-standing homes just as the Jedi have been several times in the last decades. Splintered like never before the Jedi community is fractured by its tenants and philosophies.
The Jedi Remnant consists of those Jedi and other Light-Side oriented fringe groups that align themselves with the Resistance. Militaristic and driven, the Jedi Remnant are aware of their primary goal: Fight back against the Dark Side at all costs.
The protection and training of Force Sensitives is the ongoing mission of the Jedi Remnant, gathering the Force Sensitives they are allowed to, raising up the next generation of Force Users to fight back against the Sith Empire and First Order and uphold the government in the future. Using the RNS Solemn Purpose as their new temple and training facility, Consulars and Battlemaster of the older orders use pass down their skills.
Officially the remaining Jedi and the other Force Users accompanying the Resistance are not part of the Resistance Military or under the jurisdiction of the Advisory Council unless they choose to be. They instead fulfill an advisory role, with the Military and Chief of State requesting their assistance with certain matters or asking them to assist departments and expeditions within the Resistance. However some of them feel inclined to take on Resistance Military Ranks rather than remain apart from the other fighters and soldiers. Those that do are simply considered military assets like any other soldier, beholden to the Military first and foremost.
