In essence, the Jedi Coalition of the Outer Rim are independent of the larger Organizations that have settled in the Core Worlds or the Mid Rim, the more civilized regions of the greater Galaxy. To be a Jedi of the Outer Rim is to be independent, and though they are commonly thought of as “Rogues”, their ideologies and morales differ none from the Jedi Order of old.
These brave Jedi are stewards and beacons of the Light, as are their brethren Force Orders closer to the Core. There is however, far less in number and far smaller chance of working cohesively with other worlds and government alliances. These Jedi are the Rangers of the Expanse, the wanderers and wardens of peace and justice wherever they are able; yet forever is their work, as they are outnumbered so vastly by oppressors, pirates, criminals, remnants of the First Order and allies of the Sith, Reavers and Wraiths of selfish and monetary influences.
The fact is that the Jedi of the Outer Rim are simply having to watch over a vast and expensive region contested with criminality and mortal dangers, all of which is lacking the government and society basis that the more structured territories consist of today.
In the Outer Rim Territories, there is no Grandmaster or leader of the Jedi. Each Temple or Enclave has a Steward who presides over and takes care of the grounds, yet is not there to govern his fellow Knights and Masters. Theirs is an independent practice and the one collective effort is to care for the students and see to their consistency in training, education and self discipline.
Where are they located?
Presently, there are but a handful of Jedi establishments present within the Outer Rim Territories:
- Jedi Sentinel Training Center - Sullust.
- The Jedi Training Center of Sullust was established during the time of the Galactic Alliance by that of Jedi Master Coren Starchaser. This remote location is guarded by Jedi Sentinel and Guardians/Temple Guard, accessible to the Jedi and friends of the Order.
- The Scintilla Star Praxeum Ship.
- Established by House Arenais and The Outer Planets Alliance, this Praxeum Vessel is a roaming Jedi Temple able to travel anywhere in the Galaxy yet unless required to, basing it’s operations and focus within the Outer Rim. Here Jedi can live, train and learn all aboard the massive Starship built for Jedi life among the stars.
- Eira Pechal.
- Eira Pechal was previously an uncommon and overlooked world before the establishment of the Jedi Praxeum that made waves in the ongoing battle against the Dark Side. Prominent Jedi such as Harper Kade, Coren Starchaser, Alden Belmont, Anais Auraeli & Ember Farseer were active in the Praxeum’s actions and service enacted against the oppressive forces of the Sith Empire during its first years.
- Tranquil Grove.
- The Tranquil Grove is not like other locations, this is a place of peace and relaxation for those of the Jedi and Force Sensitives alike. Here the presence of the Force can be strongly felt and those not attuned will still feel the calming aura that flows throughout this land.
- The Jedi Temple of Rannon.
- Established by Jedi Master Veiere Arenais, this Temple was originally a place of Dark Side practice before Veiere had it cleansed and reinvigorated to serve as part of the Jedi Academy Network, connecting all Jedi Order’s.
- The Svivren Jedi Enclave.
- The Jedi Enclave of Svivren was originally established in 798 ABY, and later suffered a devastating invasion by the One Sith Empire in 818 ABY; However it was renewed by House Arenais and brought back into active service by Caedyn’s Father, Veiere Arenais, Grandmaster of the Jedi Order in the Expansive Regions.
- The Jutrand Jedi Academy.
- The Jutrand Academy is arguably one of the largest Jedi establishments within the Outer Rim Territories and is currently the center for education and Jedi training. It is here that many Jedi seek to start out their journey, then graduating to the rank of Jedi Knight and seeking to aid society in the Outer Rim.
The Council of the Living Force are made up of the members from each Force Order operating within the Outer Planets Alliance. As a Jedi of the Outer Rim, this could further connect you to locations and opportunities all across the Southern Expanse of the known Galaxy...
The Organization’s within this Council are the following:
- The Jedi Covenant.
- The Jedi Enclave of Svivren.
- The Jensaarai Enclave.
- Hunters of the Fringe.
- The Circle of the Light Hand.
- The Judges of the Outer Rim.
- Cloud City Sentinels.
While they are more often than not acting of independent nature, it’s not unheard of for these Organizations to come together in the interests of the Outer Rim Territories during times of great duress or dire urgency.
