The Impossible Guy

HK stopped rigidly as he heard those words being spoken to Vitor, he tapped the metal wall awkwardly as he made his way to the door.
"Indeed so? Such a nice young girl. Either way, I shall make my way there to check on anything valuable. I do have one more question."
His body was facing the door but his head turned all the way around to look at them, probably one of the creepier things they've seen.
"This ship belongs to the Sith Empire, does it not?"

Serana cursed under her breath. "Yes. This is Empire." Serana sighed and stood to face them both.

"I am with The Empire. If you have a problem with that then I can drop you off somewhere. If not, stay."

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Vitor eyed @[member="HK-36"] as the droid looked at him. That is part of my memory I haven't yet recovered, HK. I remember that he was a Twi'lek, strong build, at the Jedi Academy on Tython, but I don't remember his name...

He frowned as Serana claimed she loved someone else. He recognized the man. Ah... The Republic Special Forces Trooper. He's quite similar to you, actually. Dashing, with a cunning that would match Sith Lords from ages past. But while I understand the connection you've made with him, I know there's one thing that will prevent your true union...

He sighed, not wanting to say this to her, but it was better that she found out now then later. His loyalty is to the Republic. He will use anything around him, including you, to gain him information and strength for those ranked higher above him in the chain of command. His suavity, his charisma, are all tools he utilizes to extract the data for those around him. A sincere relationship with you would compromise his position with the Republic and, in this day and age, result in his court-martialing and execution. He doesn't have the same free-spirited, libertine attitude that you do, one of allegiance to whoever pays the most credits. I sense that will be his undoing one day.

And with that, he stood back up, but as he did so, his neck suddenly tensed and twisted a bit. C-Ci-Watcher Two, report to... Agh! I am more interested in the young Jedi Ba-a-a-a-asti... My ascendance is ine... Arise, my apprentice, Darth Bat... Memories began to flood back into his mind faster than he could remember, the Sith spirit inside him enjoying the torturous pain he was suffering. He cried out, a tear flowing from his eye as he stumbled towards his room, sealing the door. And with that, he passed out.

Minutes could have gone by. Hours. Days. It was minutes, though... He grabbed a datapad and began to voraciously type information into it, opening his door with the Force as he returned to the cockpit. Serana, I'm only going to say this once. The memories I'm experiencing are going to stay with me only for a little bit. When they leave me, I want you to give me this datapad. All of my memories and information are going to be stored on this. Now if you have any questions, please ask them now... I can't hold onto them much longer...

Vitor's response to Miles made her mad. She drew her pistol and aimed in at his head. "I've killed Jedi before. I can do it again." Only seconds later he passed out.

Serana didn't care. She had @[member="HK-36"] take him to the med bay.

When he returned with his request. She replied simply. "OK. You two are dismissed from the cock-pit."

She turned back around and sat down, waiting for them to leave.

The droid drummed his fingers on the wall slightly as his head turned back to the door, a brief thought of rigging the ship to blow crossed his mind, but while Vitor was on it, doing so was a waste of life.
"I suppose I will leave you two children to talk, Vitor, if you want to speak with me, I will be in your cabin. I calculate Mandalore is lovely this time of their solar cycle."
HK was about to walk out before saying
"I suppose I can be your new teach-"
It was then that Vitor started to get his memories back, HK stepped closer alarmed, ready to knock him out but it seems he passed out by himself.

HK carried him to the med bay then, laying him down and taking the datapad he wrote in to put it on a table by the bed.
"What in Mandalore's good name was that?"

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Alright, HK, listen very carefully. I am Vitor Imperieuse, Jedi Padawan of the New Jedi Order. I was born on the planet Ilum many years ago to a woman who was abandoned by her father. I myself was not naturally Force-Sensitive, but the Sith spirit imbued me with its essence, coalescing into powerful Force abilities. I was found by Jedi Knight Tak Girin, the Twi'lek I mentioned earlier, and trained as a Padawan.

I was on a mission to the Unknown Regions with several Padawans, led by Padawan Akena Shan. The Sith spirit corrupted me and drove me to convert an Anzati Padawan, Alura Jenarian, to the Dark Side of the Force. Eventually, Akena, along with a Mandalorian, an Echani, and several others, stopped me and managed to incapacitate my body, placing me in a stasis casket until the spirit could be removed from my body.

That never happened though, and still this spirit continues on, taunting me with stories of an ancient Sith Empire, an Emperor who was immortal, who dominated Revan and made puppets of all in the galaxy... It is him.

Vitor closed his eyes for a moment and shook his head. Wha... What happened?

HK just stared him down, torn between helping him and putting a blaster bolt through his head right now, he did what he thought was most reasonable, hiding away the datapad in his robes.
"You just passed out, some sort of dehydration, you need to take better care of yourself. I also offered to become your new master, at least temporary and you agreed. You are my padawan now."
.
.
.
"Of sorts."
Yep, lying right into his face was easy when the droid had no real face himself.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Okay then... Whenever you want to train, I'll be ready.

He sighed. I'm blowing it, aren't I? I'm trying to be a companion, a friend to Serana, and I'm failing miserably...

HK kept watching him, he didn't really believed it worked but he nodded.
"Maybe you are just trying to hard? I do not know much about it, never been in love or had a mate or feelings. But from what I seen, do not get too much into her personal matters."
The droid would help Vitor up then
"Come on, youngling, let's get you to your cabin. I do know of something we can do while you and your bounty hunter friend get some breathing space."
He would wait for the Jedi to start walking on his own, accompanying him just to make sure he won't fall on his face
"We need to get back to Coruscant, there is somebody there who can help you bring back your memory."

Serana Onyx

The Shadow's Sister
Serana sat there, thoughts filling her head. She wanted to be with Miles. She even considered going back to Coruscant to pick him up. But her new crew might not like that.

Crew.... she never had anyone with her before.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Vitor raised his gloved hand to his face. He facepalmed. HK, I'm over 640 years old as of right now. I don't think there's really a reason to call me 'youngling.' But who's this person you're talking about?

There was no one on Coruscant that he knew of who would know a single thing about him. Except...

The droid would look back to Vitor
"And I witnessed countless millenias as far as I can tell."
He would guide him back to the cabin
"A Jedi like you, very powerful in the force. Now, take a seat in your cabin and rest, I'll go check on our bounty hunter friend and then we see to your training."
The droid nodded as he closed the door, letting Vitor have a moment to himself as he entered the cockpit, his hands were folded on his chest and hidden in his tattered, dirty robes, seeing Serana still sit there he began with a cheery.
"Forget what you have witnessed here today."

Serana flipped on the intercom, "Alright you two, come up to the bridge for a second."

Serana was going back to pick up Miles. She knew he would be there. She even decided to send a comm to him. "Hey Miles... I miss you. I want you to be here, adventuring with me. Like we talked about. I'll be at the spaceport near the bar we met at."

Serana sent the message.

HK leaned on the wall in the cockpit by the door, keeping his arms folded at his chest.
"We are not going to Mandalore then?"
He waited for Vitor to come back to the cockpit, he watched Serana.
"I am calculating we are heading back to Coruscant for the Republican Commando?"

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Vitor stepped forward uneasily as he headed to the bridge. A growing sense of worry began to fill him - but it wasn't so much him as it was the Sith spirit inhabiting him. If Miles found out that he was inside this young adult, his cover would be exposed.

Stepping onto the bridge, he looked at the bounty huntress. He knew that she was doing everything in her power to get him to abandon her. But what could she see in a duty-bound officer like Miles?

Unless she was a spy.

I'm here, Serana. What do you need?

The Shadow's Sister
Serana stood and looked at HK and Vitor.

She wasn't surprised HK had seen her comm send. He was a advanced droid after all. "You are right HK. Are returning to pick up Mister Miles."

She walked over to Vitor. She could tell he was nervous. But he was her crew now. She needed to stand by him, no matter what. "I won't throw you out. You are my crew. My first crew. I won't blow that."

The droid watched their interaction.
"I suppose I will do my shopping later. But very well."
The droid pushed off of the wall strolling the cockpit, he moved his hands behind his back.
"We need to get Vitor to the Jedi temple there."
He watched the hyperspace through the glass panes.
"I figured out how to help his condition, it is best to do it as soon as we can and get it over with."

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
You know, HK, you've yet to tell me just exactly what this treatment is... For some reason, he was expecting a change of heart from his droid ally. However, he was very thankful towards Serana for not kicking him out.

I think I can serve our party better if my mind is fully unlocked, though. Can't leave you to be arrested by the Republic, can I?

He kept watching the Hyperspace.
"I can not speak of the trea-trea-trea-trea-treatment. But the choice is yours, young Vitor. I will disembark here either way. Not a fan of Sith ships. Besides, I have other business to take care of now that I have money once more."
