THE IMPERIAL REMNANT

What is the Remnant and what is its purpose?
The Imperial Remnant is a parliamentary 'empire', led by the Moff Council who resides over the triumvirate (branch) leaders. As the name entails, the Imperial Remnant is an attempt to restore the old Galactic Empire to the Galaxy, to instill the order that was once prominent during that era in a galaxy full of chaos. They want to be able to let planets govern themselves independently but still be a part of a large interstellar regime that can protect them from outside threats, usher in prosperity, and fix issues as well as heal war-torn worlds.
Whether they want it or not.
What are the divisions of the Imperial Remnant and who are their leaders?
The Supreme Commander is the first of the military command triumvirate, they lead the army. The Imperial Army is the division responsible for fighting on the surface of planetary bodies as well as garrisoning worlds under control of the Remnant. The standard fighting force involves the elite shock troopers of the Stormtrooper Corps working in tandem with many other variants such as Walker Pilots, Novatroopers, Shadowtroopers, Dark Troopers, and Imperial Storm Commandos.
The second of the triumvirate, the Grand Admiral commands the navy. The Imperial Starfleet battles over countless worlds and in deep space, patrolling the ever growing territories of the Remnant. While large vessels, such as the Imperator-class Star Destroyer or even the Allegiance-class Battlecruiser are certainly the staple of an Imperial fleet, the Remnant utilizes numerous smaller vessels ranging from corvettes to cruisers for many roles such as reconnaissance, support, and the likes.
Last, but not least, the third member of the military triumvirate; The Grand Master. Strong in the Force, the Grand Master stands as the leader of the force-neutral Imperial Knights which is the dominant force sect within the Remnant. The Imperial Knights take on various missions, fight on the battlefield, and guard the members of the triumvirate and the Grand Moff (Though this is mainly the charge of Imperial Guards).
The other, secretive dark-side Force sect of the Imperial Remnant, controlled by the Grand Inquisitor. The Imperial Inquisitorius is set to carry out the 'dirty' work of the Empire, be it quietly quelling rebellions, assassinating powerful Jedi, and destroying those who spread heresy within their territories. And if a problem has proved too much for a group of several fully-fledged Inquisitors to handle, then a crusade will be launched, a crusade of darkness.
Under the all-seeing eye of the Director, Imperial Intelligence is charged with a plethora of responsibilities such as espionage, assassination, subterfuge, and infiltration. They know every dirty little secret of every faction including their own, and if you stand in the way of them completing their already-difficult missions or somehow anger the wrong people in the Imperial Remnant, you might find that you'll simply disappear...
The Moff Council is the main government of the Imperial Remnan. Moffs oversee entire star systems, making sure that the planetary governments that remain are kept in line with any and all rebellions quelled by the might of the Imperial Military. The Grand Moff, the Head of Government/State for the entire Remnant has all of the Empire under their control, with sector-keeping High Moffs reporting to him. Individually the Moffs are weak but together they form the council that keeps the Remnant strong.
Is the Imperial Remnant good, or evil?
Sometimes an alignment is not as easy as 'light' or 'dark'. For a soon-to-be-Galactic Empire, tough decisions will have to be made. While civilians won't be killed by the masses without a suitable reason (Casualties of war, Insurrections). The Imperial Remnant is not afraid to be the new 'bad guy' on the board, we will do what is necessary to bring peace, justice, and security to this galaxy and to end all of the other factions that have drawn it into a war that rivals that of the Clone Wars.
So, will you assist us in our mission as a loyal Imperial? Or will you die a hapless Rebel?
