• Accessibility: The Imperial Palace is located at the heart of Galactic City, highly visible and recognizable, the Palace is both a ceremonial and administrative structure. Access is heavily restricted to ranking Imperial officials, high-born nobility, foreign dignitaries, and military personnel. All surrounding sectors are under tight surveillance, and public access is prohibited without sanctioned clearance. Anti-air batteries, atmospheric defense grids, and elite stormtrooper battalions enforce the perimeter.
  
  
• Description: Towering over the skyline of Coruscant, the rechristened Imperial Palace dominates the cityscape once again. Formerly the New Jedi Temple, it has been retrofitted, defaced, and rebuilt to serve as the seat of power for the Galactic Emperor, the Grand Vizier Shannic Wulf , and the Galactic Empire itself. Massive Imperial banners now drape over its once hallowed halls. Interior reconstruction efforts are ongoing, overseen by Imperial architects, secret Church of the Dark Side adherents, and the Office of Imperial Truth, who aim to erase all vestiges of Jedi history.

POINTS OF INTEREST

• The Grand Plaza: A vast marble floored plaza at the foot of the Imperial Palace, once the site of parades and public gatherings. Now, it bears towering statues of the deceased hero Ignacious Korvan , and Grand Vizier Shannic Wulf , depicted shaking hands in a display of mutual trust and consolidation of Imperial rule. Looming high above them from a blackened archway behind are five massive cloaked statues. Though their names are not carved into the stone, nor identities made clear, to the trained eye they are unmistakably Darth Solipsis , Darth Caelitus ( Halketh ), Darth Mori, Darth Ptolemis , Darth Bellum , and Darth Vinaze , evoking the ominous images of the Four Sages from the era of Palpatine. Their silent, grim expressions look down upon all who enter the palace.
  
  
• The Emperor’s Throne Room: The heart of the palace where the Galactic Emperor holds court. This chamber is spartan by Imperial standards, with towering vaulted ceilings, crimson drapes, and deep blackstone columns. The throne itself is a rotating metal chair modeled directly after Emperor Palpatine's throne from the second Death Star, symbolizing both continuity to the ancient Sith-ruled organization and galactic domination. When the Emperor is not present, the Grand Vizier oversees court proceedings from the throne in his stead, pronouncing edicts, sentences, and policies.
  
  
• Audience Chamber: A marble-clad reception hall adjacent to the throne room. Here, visitors, dignitaries, and officers wait under the watchful eyes of Royal Guards and holomonitors. Massive reliefs on the walls depict the Empire's victory over the Galactic Alliance and the New Jedi Order, reinforcing a psychological atmosphere of inevitability to those who gaze upon it. Audience times are tightly scheduled, and very few reach the throne without clearance from the Grand Vizier's bureaucracy.
  
  
• The Furnace of Enlightenment: A shrine-like forge located near the temple steps where the lightsabers of fallen Jedi are ritually destroyed in public display.
  
  
• The Imperial Archives: A rebuilt and reconfigured section formed from the salvaged ruins of the Jedi Archives. The once hallowed halls of knowledge have been sterilized of Jedi influence, stripped of any remaining Force-sensitive content and rewritten with the narrative of the Official of Imperial Truth (OIT). All records now reinforce the righteousness of the Empire's conquest and the treason of the old orders. Hidden within are secured vaults with restricted access, some still rumored to house original Jedi holocrons and ancient Sith tomes.
  
  
• Detention Block: A subterranean prison meant to temporarily hold detainees until they can be moved to a more permanent facility, or executed publicly.

• Imperial Dojo: Located in the lower west wing of the palace, this combat training facility is reserved for Royal Guards and Imperial Sovereign Protectors. Here, elite warriors are drilled in the art of melee combat, lightsaber resistance techniques, and anti-Force user tactics. Sparring takes place beneath holographic projectors simulating prior battles, often replaying scenes of Jedi defeat as instructional film. The Dojo is off limits to all others without military clearance.
  
  
• Shrine In The Depths: An ancient Sith shrine situated at a Force vergence on Coruscant, constructed millennia before the rise of the Galactic Republic. The early Jedi Order later constructed the original Jedi Temple over the shrine, hoping to neutralize its dark energies. It was here, during the Invasion of Coruscant, that the Dark Side Elite later released the sealed nexus, opening the temple grounds to corruption. Since then, this shrine has been thoroughly restored as a holy place to the Church of the Dark Side.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Once the shining beacon of Jedi tradition, the Temple on Coruscant was desecrated centuries ago by Emperor Palpatine during the rise of the first Galactic Empire. Rebranded as the Imperial Palace, it became the very symbol of Imperial strength and domination over the galaxy. Centuries later, control of the palace fluctuated between the Republic, the One Sith, until it was finally restored by the rechristened Galactic Alliance, and later rebuilt by the New Jedi Order.

Following the monumental Galactic Empire victory that saw the fall of the Deep Core, the New Jedi Temple was taken by force. In a brutal battle between New Jedi and Dark Side Elite, Stormtrooper assaults, and orbital barrages, the Alliance defenders were overwhelmed. Coruscant fell, and with it, the former heart of the Alliance.

Under the command of Grand Vizier Shannic Wulf , the Empire restored the structure to its infamous title: the Imperial Palace. Jedi iconography was torn down, their relics melted and destroyed. The Temple's towering spires now bear the sigils of the Empire, visible from orbit. Its archives now rewritten, its halls consecrated in darkness by the Emperor’s Dark Jedi.

Empire Day marked the first major ceremony within the newly renamed palace. Lightsabers of slain Jedi were fed to the Furnace of Enlightenment, fireworks blanketed the skies above, and the Grand Vizier declared a new age.. and with it the rebirth of Imperial Center.
