The Imperial Bastion (The Anaxes/Corellian Campaign, Imp Prep, Open to All)

That was the name of the man who gathered people to his forces, who gathered ships and soldiers from the One Sith, or from the worlds he had brought his ships to and taken people from just to join his army. It was this man who control Anaxes and it was his soldiers who had damaged Corellia once more, who had fought on Dorsis. It was his men who had fought the Galactic Alliance, and even the Galactic Republic all those years ago. And now it was his men that would stand with him against another weakling of a government. Another set of worlds to be conquered.

That was why he reached out for any who would teach such an upstart and weak creation a lesson that the Republic would not soon forget.

Recently, the Republic had made a mistake, in searching so widely for allies to deal with his soldiers, they had given their hand and now the Warlord could easily do the same, as well as dig his soldiers in as civilians were removed from their homes and the streets leading to his palace were abandoned and blockaded.

He would not cower like a rat though.

This was simply a precautionary matter and what most who came to help him would find is the Warlord standing outside the Fortress city's limits, going over plans and checking over the numbers with his officers. He made certain that there would be troops stationed and ready, that the AT-ATs would be repaired and ready for combat the moment everything started. Pols Anaxes, the capital of the world, would be a last resort and last line of defense. IF any Republic or Allied soldier thought to set foot in the city itself, they would deal with a dug in and highly prepared enemy. But this was not the only target, and he knew that.

After all, Anaxes was no Shipyard world, which had made the acquisition of Bilbringi highly important some years ago. The World would be hosting a portion of the Warlord's fleet, the rest remaining in reserve and ready to respond when necessary and if the Warlord was pushed that far. And to tell the truth, Xeren did not expect to need his main fleet, thinking the Republic is simply too weak to require it.

Xeren thought his plan unbreakable, but he always had that tinge of doubt, which is why he glanced down at the camps that had been prepared for volunteers and foreign legions sent by enemies of the Republic. As well as mercenaries bought with little more than some credits that had been laying around. More official and higher ranking guests would of course be welcome at his table and in his palace, those of considerable standing, equal to his own of course. But only those who matched such a description, the rest would be with the volunteers... away from the planning room.

But who would argue with that.

His forces had survived greater beacons of light and democracy, why should now be any different.

Let these weak fools come and break themselves upon his gates. He would be waiting.

OOC: Happy to RP Imperial Officers or the Warlord himself if necessary, please hit me up with PMs. Some of my others may also take up some DMing for people, if the workload is too much. I encourage people to RP with eachother though and make some plans and pairing up for combat, be it as fleeters/pilots, or as ground pounders.
