The Hospital Problem

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
You are in a hospital, and there are four problems. They are as follows:

1. Northwest, there’s a guy trying to open an emergency entrance and you can see urgency in his behaviour. However, he appears to be alone. You have to help him to get the door open;

2. In northeast, there’s a guy asking for directions at the receptionist at a lobby. However, the receptionist doesn’t know how to give directions. You must help the receptionist to explain where the guy has to go;

3. At southwest, there’s a corridor with another guy and a doctor explaining medical conditions. However, doctor uses very scientific language that the guy has difficulty of understanding. You must help the guy by translating doctor’s words into layman’s terms;

4. And in the southeast, there’s a woman lying on hospital bed and a guy standing next to her. Woman’s condition is stable but both people look emotionally devastated. You must help them to get cope with emotional stress.

Each of these tasks takes a bit of time. What priority order would you solve these problems?

1, 3, 2, 4
Opening a door isn't too hard. So that's first.
Since I assume we can understand medical jargon, dumbing down the doctor's words wouldn't take very long either. It's also to the east, so that's second.
We probably know our way around the hospital already, so once we go to the north side we can help the guy find his way third.
Lastly, we can devote the most time to helping the emotionally stressed family as that would need the most time to help with.
