  • Hierarchy: The hierarchy of The Hollow starts with Darth Aion and trickles down from Lords to Knights and then to Acoloytes with the most common followers and thralls at the bottom. Darth Aion > Hollow Lords > Hollow Knights > Hollow Acoloytes > Hollow Neophytes > Hollow Thralls
  • Membership: While there is no traditional means of joining the cult, the cult forming of it's own volition behind the Aspect of Nihilus, the indoctrination of a thrall would require the host to have been chosen by Darth Aion to become a near dead husk that performs the most menial and common of tasks.
  • Climate: Hostile in regards to Darth Aion to his thralls, as well as his enemies, and ranging to reasonable towards other factions of The Sith Order or people in general so long as they suit the cults puprposes.
  • Reputation: Viewed from the outside the cult may appear as ignorable to a severe threat due to its deep rooted obsession and worship of the former Lord of Hunger: Darth Nihilus.
  • Curios: Members of the cult often dress in black and red garbs, some dressing more similar to Darth Aion himself while others might dress akin to other Sith ranks. Thralls dress as their role and rank holds them. No matter how closely they bring themselves to looking like Darth Aion, none of them wear masks that could be mistaken for that of Darth Nihilus.
  • Rules: The rules of The Hollow are fairly simple on the surface before indoctrination. To not question the motivations of Darth Aion, the Aspect of Nihilus. Act as he wishes, bring him prey on which to feed and herald in the coming of the new Lord of Hunger.

The rules become far more complex as you become further immersed. The Hollow follow the tenets of the Sith Code their interpretation of them varies in line with that of the Sith Lord Darth Aion. His obsession with mortality and the consumption that must be forever sated consist as follows:
    • Peace is a mortal concept understood by those who are short lived or accepting of the finite nature of life itself. Mortality stands as a chain to be shattered and thus peace is a lie.
    • To achieve ones freedom from their mortality one should strive through intense passion to seek a means of transcending their mortality and become something different; or perhaps even greater.
    • The ideal path chosen by Aion is to consume the essence and power of others to twist it and rid himself of the shackles of his mortal form is to be viewed as the one ideal. Use ones own strength and that of others to alter their own physical being.
    • The power achieved by transcending their own mortality is to achieve victory over the chains and tethers of life and the Force itself. A victory that Aion seeks to achieve and impose upon his following.
    • Once the chains are broken only then can one fully understand the power that they have achieved. Mortality is the coil you have cast off.
    • Once beyond mortality, perhaps merely the coil of the physical form, the Force stands as the only true hurdle and thus you are free.
  • Goals: The goal of The Hollow would be the herald in the coming of the Aspect of Nihilus and new Lord of Hunger. To bring the message to any and all who would see and/or hear it that a form or aspect of Darth Nihilus has returned to the galaxy and should be honored or feared as such. The ultimate goal, however, is one kept fairly close to the chest by Darth Aion and his hand selected followers: To strive to rid the galaxy of the weakness of mortality and grant the galaxy freedom from the only coil that truly restricted those who wielded the Force. To rid the galaxy of mortality and truly embrace the Force.

It is unknown who started the cult known as The Hollow. First it was rumors, whispers in the dark of that a power had emerged in the deepest reaches of the galaxy. Then it became more than just rumors as beings from across the galaxy began to gather upon the world where their new lord had laid waste to all the life there. Among those who emerged to follow this new being, this new Lord of Hunger, were even individuals who held on to the fragmented ideals of the eons lost Unmasked; finding new direction for what they likely had come to believe inane beliefs and ravings held like crumbs by their ancestors.

What would follow this slow culmination would be a mass of followers seeking to act as pilgrims upon the wake of death and destruction paved by who they would call The Aspect of Nihilus. A being akin to the ancient Lord of Hunger that they cared not whether he possessed the soul of their ancient lord. They followed solely out of a twisted and depraved belief that once again the galaxy would be brought to heel by a being powerful enough to call themselves Lord of Hunger. Much alike to the ancient lords way the cult cared little for those who joined it, nor why, but only for the desire to propagate the new lords power.

It was when Aion became aware of The Hollow that order was truly brought to the unorganized ranks of the cult. He cared not for having a following, nor having beings willing to assist in his rise to power. They called him the Aspect of Nihilus, a title he embraced, and the new Lord of Hunger yet he continued to express apathy save for enforcing upon them a version of the Sith Code that he himself had adopted through the slow discovery of his status as a Wound in the Force. WIth these elements put into play, The Hollow readily accepted their new code and purpose, many willing to go to great lengths to live out it's will.

Their purpose clear: Make his name known. Make ready the galaxy for the new Lord of Hunger.
