STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Darth Aion is highly Force Sensitive and maintains a strong connection to the Force. However, as he was susceptible to The Fade, he and his connection to the Force are afflicted. This condition is exacerbated by the death and destruction he has left in his wake, causing a wound like void to form within himself that clashes directly with his degenerative disease.

Much like his affliction, he is susceptible to emotional fluctuations that can border on fits of rage and depression or even sadistic tendencies and satisfaction. While he still undergoes these experiences of emotion a raw hunger has begun to take hold that, at times, even eclipses the emotions he would traditionally feel.

In turn with this strength, if he is severed or disturbed from the Force he, like others of his kind, is vulnerable despite any physical training and combat prowess. While a severance from the Force would be debilitating a newly, and slowly developed hunger for essence and the Force itself has begun to present a different unique challenge.

Like others of his species he has keen eyesight and enhanced night vision, something he has come to embrace in his lifestyle. With a considerable deterioration of his physical being this sense has become warped though still present.

While he takes action to avoid it, he is susceptible to the same temperature sensitivity as the rest of his species. He does not hold any particular resistances outside of tolerating one temperature exposure briefly. This sensitivity is present even still but at times goes unnoticed due physical deterioration or the presence of his environment suit.

Unlike others of his species, he has embraced his bloodlust. It can come as a detriment to his focus in the heat of conflict, but often presents a benefit when he is able to use it to sharpen his focus. This bloodlust has become easily confused with the hunger that he feels due to the void that has formed within him.

After almost a thousand years of bloodshed and violence something began to break inside Aion, slowly deteriorating him from the inside. This adverse effect pushed him to depend on a consumption of others essence and Force energy to sustain himself.

Characteristic to his species he has two hearts, strong bones and nails, and sensitivity to light.

APPEARANCE:
Aion prior to his present condition
I7eHaRd.jpg
While he often makes effort to cover himself with ranging forms of robes and armor, Darth Aion sports a very elegant and clean appearance. He has few scars and distinguishable marks of his experience outside of the markers along his spine that indicate his age. He sports his hair long, though it's often pulled back as not to detriment his exterior image while donning his helmet and prefers to keep his nails sharpened for the rare case of unarmored self-defense.

Typically he wears a helmet and insulated suit while traveling to avoid drawing attention to his particular special attributes, but also to avert any ill effects of planetary temperatures. More often than not these suits are covered in mild, common metal, plates and spike as well as varying shades of black, red or purple to admonish his sway to the darker aspects of life and the Force.

The face beneath the mask, the man hardly any one ever saw, was a visage that would baffle even the most ardent of rumor chasers. Groomed, clean cut and strong in posture, Kajast'ur'kanadur was far astray from the being myths, legends and rumors have created of him. In truth seeing that side of him, the truth to his very nature, is something a select few have ever lived to share with others; though often these memories are forgotten with the sands of time.

Something he has done to himself, though it is rarely noticeable a vast majority of the time, is sharpen his front sets of teeth both the sake of intimidation and his dietary preference. This pales in comparison to the effects that time has taken upon his being left alone with a growing and ever hungry void within himself. Were one to see his features they would say he was almost ghost like in his gaunt and sickly appearance.

BIOGRAPHY:
Kajast'ur'kanadur knows very little about his youth and parents. What little he does know is that his mother was murdered when he was very young. An event that shaped his childhood into the nightmare that would change the course of his entire life. He did not grow up knowing the full extent of his species culture, but instead learned it as his father wished it to be learned. To Kajast and his siblings it was as fate worse than death and one that he quickly sought to remove them from.

Time was immaterial to Kajast as he plotted his escape from his father, and within a few years of his earliest retained memories he and his siblings escaped from Kanadur and the grasp of his many enemies. However, it was not an escape that would be good to he and his siblings as not long after escaping did he and his siblings realize the full consequence of abandoning guidance for their strong innate Force sensitivity. Something that became very apparent as time continued to pass.

By the time Kajast had reached the age of five hundred and twenty he and his siblings had found themselves thrust into the known galaxy in their flight from their father. Kajast took to studying the ways of the Force under the minds of the Jedi of his time while his siblings looked on from the sidelines. A peaceful life as it would have been were it not for the looming threat of a malady none of them had fully come to accept as a real threat. At just five hundred and twelve Kajast brother Xanad fell victim to what they all knew to be The Fade.

Unlike most cases they had heard of, however, Xanad's condition quickly deteriorated until he became nothing more than a raging husk of his former self. For years Kajast and his sister Katiara sought a means of helping their brother, or at the very least containing him, but as time past their efforts proved vain. It wasn't until a century into his deteriorated state that Kajast chose to put Xanad out of his misery; cutting him down where he stood on a makeshift battlefield on Dantooine. It was an event that Katiara would never forgive Kajast for, and a weight he would carry for the rest of his life.

For the next century Kajast sought any means he could to endure the new galaxy he had come to live in. His sister had all but abandoned him and his training as a Jedi had become difficult to the point of great strain. Not long after he had achieved the rank of Knight did he start to feel the full sway and susceptibility of the Dark Side over him, a realization that struck him the first time he was forced to kill another for the sake of a mission; and one he would not recover from.

Kajast's view on the Force and his direction as a Jedi quickly began to spiral out of control. At first it was merely studying the effects of the Dark Side and the extents of his Force potential. However, as time went on he began to realize that he felt more at home in the Dark Side of the Force. At first killing his fellow apprentices and knights that were assigned with him on missions, but then going so far as to kill the very same master that had trusted him to the rank of knight in the first place. However, it wouldn't be until he met Ra'Mira that his fall to the darkness would be complete.

She was the sun, the moon, the stars and more to him. He met her during his flight from the Jedi Order and subsequently bonded with her in a way only his species would understand. She was a Jedi but she did not hate him for what he had done. Unlike the others she had come to embrace what the Dark Side of the Force could do to a person and for them, though she did not practice it's use herself. For years he lived out a somewhat happy existence with her and his sister, but it was one that would not last. As one does not simply scorn the Jedi and walk away without repercussive damages.

One night, some decades later, the Jedi tracked Kajast to the home he had come to live in. Kajast had been away, however, and upon his return he found the Jedi questioning Ra'Mira and confiscating her lightsaber. In a fit of rage, one that tipped well beyond that which he was normally accustomed to, he tore through the knights and their masters one by one. What he did not realize, however, was that Ra'Mira was using her own power to aid him in his fight despite her compromised condition. It wasn't until he watched the last of the Jedi fall to the ground with a range of cauterized cuts that the realization that Ra'Mira had been dying became apparent to him.

Almost as if on instinct, she threw herself between him and one of the last Jedi before his rage subsided. And it was that very blow that had ended her life. Anger gripped him, hate consumed him, misery twisted him and finally his rage broke him. As he came to the realization that the woman whom he had taken as his mate had died, what made him the person he was for the years prior fell away; replaced by a new persona devoid of emotion and remorse. He refused to be consoled, defied all reason pressed upon him by any who met him and pushed away any love that one might give him.

Only his sister, Katiara, remained in his life. He jealously denied her any attachment and, in turn, pushed her will to leave to the breaking point until she ultimately no longer could. He no longer loved her, no longer cared for her, as any loving being would but instead jealously possessed her as a part of his world that he would never allow to be removed.

In the years following his fall, Kajast began to search for knowledge. Answers to the secrets behind the Sith he had learned about in the Jedi Order and powers only the dark side could grant him. His search took him on a journey across the known galaxy and to planets like Dromund Kaas, Korriban and even Yavin IV. It was an enlightening venture, and one that would ultimately shape him into a twisted and malignant being the galaxy would later come to know as Darth Aion.

His studies began with the holocrons of lesser Sith, learning the basics of the Dark Side's potential from minds he considered lesser than his own. Slowly he would come to realize the true nature of the Dark Side and his connection to the Force and become attuned to such powers as Force Drain, Force Plague and Force Lightning. It wasn't until he found the knowledge left behind by those few that documented the ancient eras of the old Sith Empires that he became aware of those Sith who had called themselves Lords.

Years became decades, decades became centuries and by the age of one thousand thirty he had fully acknowledged himself as a true practitioner of the Dark Side of the Force. Having donned the monicker Darth Aion, accepted his place as a Sith and come taken the deaths of many under his belt as experience in his practices of the Force Kajast no longer cared for what he considered wasteful life. Only power and the cruel reality of death remained in the forefront of his mind, and it was his mastery of the power Death Field that solidified that fact for him and any who met him.

In time, as he aged and passed the age of twelve hundred he began to feel the effects of the malady that had brought about his brothers demise. Unlike those of his species who feared The Fade, he embraced what it meant for him as a Sith. Kajast'ur'kanadur, now Darth Aion, shaped his image, his nature and his will into the force he wished to become. Rage may consume him, control may escape him, but he was what he had long dreamed he would be.

Something to be feared.

He had become his father.

A fate he would have considered worse than death. A fate suffered until he donned the mask. Where he'd found it he could not remember, nor how long he had spent investing his very essence and power into in a desperate hope that it might grant him something else. Something more.

To be continued...
