DESCRIPTION
Forged during the Pre-Exilic Sith Era (6,900–5,000 BBY), the Helm of the One-Eyed Prophet was born from brutal infighting and violent purges within the ancient Sith species' caste-based society. At the time, Sith nobility faced constant threats: assassinations, alchemical sabotage, and Force-imbued curses were rampant across the bloodlines of Korriban and Ziost.

Rather than relying on crude metallurgy alone, the Helm was the product of a rare convergence within the ancient Sith hierarchy. During a period of widespread assassination attempts against ruling houses, one such alliance was formed, uniting Sadowist warlords, blood-forging Zuguruks, and temple scribes.

Within the volcanic catacombs beneath the Valley of the Dark Lords, they labored for decades to create a hybrid relic, not merely a helmet, but a vessel of Force resonance. Its obsidian shell was hardened in ritual fire, cooled in Sith blood, and carved with runes meant to bind and reflect the essence of its wielder. A crystal matrix was mounted within, capable of turning the wearer's Force aura into a radiant, reactive shield. Over the centuries, it was passed from high-value Sith diplomats to warrior-prophets, always bound to those deemed too valuable to be lost to a blade.

It was presumed destroyed until The Annihilation of Korriban, when the Church of the Dark Side recovered the fractured relic beneath the ruins of a collapsed crypt. Smuggled to Bastion, it was restored and sealed within a relic chamber under the stewardship of the Church's archivists. While Da'Razel's one-sided pyromantic abilities were discovered and nurtured, some dark side scholars, aware of the helm's long-dormant power and its symbiotic nature, theorized that his singular affinity for fire would resonate profoundly with the artifact.

Through years of rites, sacrificial channeling, and meditative fusion, the helm adapted itself to Da'Razel's nature. No longer just a protective ward, the field it projected began to shimmer with unbearable heat. When active, the Force shield now scorches and incinerates whatever touches it. The air within the barrier simmering form the intense temperatures, forcing Da'Razel to wield it with precision, lest he suffer its trial as much as his enemies.


SPECIAL FEATURES
1. Force-Attuned Shield Generator:
When activated, the helmet creates a personal, Force barrier surrounding the wearer. The field reacts directly to the user's own Force signature.

3. Expandable Shield Radius:
Initially the shield hugs the user's silhouette tightly. However, through conscious Force channeling, the field may expand into a large spherical dome. The wider the radius, the higher the Force energy cost per moment of sustained activation. As such, extended use while under fire can rapidly drain a Force-user.

2. Force-Signature Reflection:
The nature of the barrier changes depending on the Force alignment and abilities of the user. The effect is symbiotic, enabling the helmet to "inherit" traits from the wielder.

• Burning Shield: Due to Da'Razel's extreme pyrokinesis and Force alignment, the shield projects an intensely heated aura. Anything that breaches or touches the barrier is burned, scorched, or incinerated depending on proximity and intensity of contact.
• Internal Burn Field: The longer the shield is maintained, the hotter it becomes inside the bubble, not just around it. This acts as a spiritual and physical trial; prolonged use can cause serious heat strain or exhaustion without pain resistance or fireproof gear.

3. Arcane over Circuitry:
Unlike modern tech, the shield generator operates through Sith alchemy and Force inscriptions, not electrical or computerized systems. As a result, the helm is immune to EMP/Ion disruption and similar technological disablers.

STRENGTHS

• Force Reactive Defense: Adapts to the user's Force signature, enabling deeply personalized protection.
• Burning Shield: Generates a powerful scorched barrier that damages anything that touches the field.
• Arcane over Circuitry: Immune to EMP/Ion tech thanks to Sith alchemical construction.

WEAKNESSES

• Force Drain: Extended shield use severely taxes the wearer's Force reserves, especially when expanded.
• Internal Burn Field: Inside the barrier becomes dangerously hot with prolonged use, potentially incapacitating the wearer
• Light-Side Force Vulnerability: Though not inherently weak to the Light Side, powerful Light-based Force abilities may suppress or disrupt the barrier's performance.
• Force Null Zones: Environments like ysalamiri fields or Force-dampened zones disable the shield entirely.
