..:: Strengths ::..
---------------------------------------------------------

  • Internal HUD: An advanced HUD system is integrated into the lenses of the helm, often providing additional information and environmental situational awareness to the individual wearing the helm.

  • External Air Filter Connections: Set just under the chin are two - often closed - connections that can accept a standard coupling to permit the helm to be connected to an external air tank or other similar lifesupport system.

  • Radiator Conduction Panels: The top of the helmet contains a series of panels that allow the individual's body heat and heat produced by the helmet to bleed off and preventing overheating of both individual and the electronics within the helmet.

---------------------------------------------------------
..:: Weaknesses ::..
---------------------------------------------------------

  • Ion/EMP Vulnerability: The internal electronics of the helmet are not protected, thus leaving them vulnerable to Ion based weaponry or EMP bursts - which would shut down the internal systems of the helmet and leave the individual within vulnerable.

  • Fragile Systems: A heavy blow to the helmet could potentially dislodge or otherwise affect the fragile internal workings of the helmet. This can cause systems to either experience technical problems or otherwise become damage to the point that they are no longer capable of executing their function.

  • Limited Protective Capabilities: It is a helmet and only protects the head to a point - thus it is suggested that it be paired with other protective materials or armor to ensure the protection of the individual.

..:: Description ::..
---------------------------------------------------------

Just as no two Inperantike are the same - the same can be said of the helms that they wear.

When an individual becomes the Inperantike of the Knights of the Pyre they are bestowed a great honor - the admiration of the Knights under their command - as well as the privilege of having a special helm crafted to mark their assent to leadership.

This Helm of the Inperantike is owned by the individual's title as 'The Whispering Tyrant' - with the helm being constructed to their own specifications. In this instance the helm is crafted with ancient symbols and an art style reminiscent of the ancient Akeldama Slave Empire that was reigned over by the ancient Sanguinius Vampirika species. Thus the helm is designed to protect the wearer's eyes just as much as provide additional capabilities to the individual.

The lenses of the helm contain an automatic system that tints the lenses upon exposure to sunlight - the effect is almost instantaneous - while also containing a system that aids in preventing blinding from sudden flashes of light (such as from sudden exposure to sunlight or the effects of a flash bang). This system also permits the individual to pick up on infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths. The helmet also contains a series of additional systems ranging from breathe filters to vocal scramblers to hide the individual's voice.

Though the downside of the helm is that much of its systems are fragile and can be shut off from a burst of an Ion weapon or EMP. Likewise, a heavy blow to the helm has the potential to dislodge or otherwise damage the internal systems, leaving them inoperable.
