The Healing of Kalevala [Thread for Mandalorians]

Jor Kvall

Ain't found a way to kill me yet
With the Mandalorian Empire's emphasis on environmental protection and rebuilding of Mandalore, I would like to do a thread for rehabilitating the planet Kalevala.

Kalevala is a canon planet that is not on the galaxy map (yet), but it's in Mandalorian space. You may remember it from the Clone Wars TV show; the New Mandalorians once resided there. The planet consists almost entirely of arid, toxic desert, and presumably, ruins of the New Mandalorian settlements, which would be close to a thousand years old by this point.

The goal is to transform Kalevala into a lush, temperate planet, first by removing the toxicity in its earth and providing suitable soil for plants to grow. Then we will add flora and fauna via permaculture, without any large-scale agriculture. The idea is to make Kalevala as naturally bountiful as possible.

Any Mandalorians, or even non-Mandalorian scientists, interested in this project?

My company RID sells exactly what you are looking for to terraform both in the short and long term. I would be happy to sign a contract with you to supply the needed equipment at a low cost. Well low considering how expensive they are to make in general. You might also be able to get help from the ME if you haven't already asked [member="Yasha Mantis"] or [member="Cassiopeia Australis"] about it. The equipment is free for the ME to use as they please so could avoid the contract if you get the ME behind it.

Glad to hear people are interested! Thanks to [member="Yasha Mantis"] for throwing the full support of the faction behind this idea. [member="Gray Raxis"], I would be happy to have your company be a major part of the rebuilding efforts.

I will put up the thread later today, all Mandalorians and Mando-friendly scientists and engineers are welcome.
