"I would like that. Care to join me in something to eat...I'm starving." He was asking both of them. "Come Star, it is fine. I have had worse done to me." He assured her. A lot about him had changed, and no one would know what truly was going on in that mind of his.

"Not really the type to sit down and eat, I will have to give you a rain check on that one." I started to walk backwards when I stopped myself, "I can't because I was trying to already go home for my own dinner with someone. Next time."

And the dinner thing was partly a lie because I was now debating about taking her out for a dinner to make up for me being gone. Eh that or I would be stuck on the couch for the next week and a half.
