Description: Drawn from the most sadistic and cruel beings in the galaxy, the Sephi of Gulamendis are mentally unstable, insane and thwarted by their religion and worship of black holes, believing them to be the ultimate embodiment of death. They are favoured by The Primeval for their disregard for personal safety and life. They find pleasure in the suffering of others and themselves, and can be found at the frontlines as they fling themselves towards the enemy, wave after wave, and no amount of carnage can reduce their morale, for personal death is the ultimate sacrifice to their God.
The fusion of technology and biological weaponry is renowned amongst the Gulandi. There is a deep and haunting resemblance to the Yuuzhan Vong, with some Sephi of Gulamendis known to praise the Yuuzhan. Amphistaff’s are used by those leading these soldiers into battle, with the rest favouring Chitin carbines, disruptor rifles, and vibroblades.
After countless years of fighting beside Anja Aj’Rou, the Gulandi Warriors have left their birthworld behind as they venture deeper into the known regions of the galaxy and conquer wildsplace alongside their prophetic Host Lord. Believing the Umbaran witch to be their God of Death incarnate, the Gulandi revere Anja and are questionably loyal to her and her cause. Formerly loyal to the High King Ozuvyn Sar-Sargoth, they now pledge themselves entirely to Anja and will follow her until the last one of them falls in battle.
Strengths:
Unwavering: The Gulandi Warriors do not fear pain, defeat, or even death and won't relent even as their comrades fall around.
Unquestioning Loyalty: Believing Anja to be the one who will lead them to glorious death, the Gulandi cannot be convinced otherwise and will follow her until the last breath.
Vong Technology: Having acquired Vong technology through various means, the Gulandi are commonly found with their weapons and armour.
Veterans of War: Having followed their Host Lord into many conflicts and conquering worlds for her, the Gulandi Warriors have experienced many situations to make them versatile against their enemies and they will not shy away from any fight.
Weaknesses:
Traveling Light: The Gulandi prefer to attack quickly and charge ahead into the fray and thus do not care for heavy equipment, explosives, or even vehicles.
Tactically Blind: They’re warriors who fight for the pleasure of killing and dying. They do not fight for victory, but for the carnage that results.
Distracted: The Gulandi are not unknown to hold up their offensive to root out the last soul in their current engagement.
