Because this was [member="Avalore Eden"] 's idea and i want to make sur we don't forget!

Within every House there may be a certain focus of academia. For instance, at the Cato Temple the focuses are Healing Arts and Archival Studies. Upon taking X number of classes and participating in X number of missions for this House, a Jedi will receive a talisman of the House. This talisman is a symbolic piece that denotes the graduate's degree of the base level of studies gained within the House.

Every House may have different standards or requirements for gaining the House Talisman. A First Talisman would likely, in ranking terms, signify a base-Knight-level knowledge of the skills learned.

Should a Jedi choose to remain within the same house to continue those same Focus, after completing X and doing Y, they will receive a House Amulet, which offers prestige and some power relative to the House. (a meditation crystal or what have you, each House can hash this out on their own). This Amulet denotes what would equate to a Master-level knowledge and use of the skills learned.

The Great Journey
A Jedi's journey to train within all the Houses, collecting all the Talismans, similar to the Maester's chains from Game of Thrones. Upon completion they get bragging rights, a really cool thing, and a hat.

Voss Temple is open to all Jedi, always was. :)

Not sure how this will all work regarding RP of training, there is two options .. we could RP Voss through the JC or anyone wishing to come to Voss is most welcome to join SJ faction to RP there too.

Sounds good. I think we're all onboard with the idea of freeform, minimum restrictions, different academies decide how they want to do things and aren't possessive with members, etc.

As far as the original idea goes, I love it and I could definitely whip up some basic standards for Dantooine, for getting the Shiny Thing of Undetermined Name. Dantooine's Sense and sabre based, and good with mental defense, so the standards would prioritize those.
