The Great Holocron is now held on the Library Network to make it accessible to members of the Academy, whilst keeping it safe from the Sith.

[SIZE=14.6667px]The Great Holocron was stored in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. During several engagements between the Sith and Jedi both sides neglected to secure several key artefacts, so it was left to Jorus Merrill to remove them from the planet. For a time he kept them in secret, underneath the pilot’s seat of his freighter the [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]Gypsymoth[/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.6667px]Eventually he brought them to the Jedi Convocation which he set up in Omega Protectorate space and returned them to all of the factions.He retained custody and Kiskla Grayson made him Master of First Knowledge. Jorus managed to get several key items into the Library Card programme to keep them out of Sith hands, whilst making the knowledge accessible to all Jedi Orders through the Academy network. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.6667px]Eventually Jorus tired of bearing the responsibility for upkeep of the Library network. Seeing the Republic he made a snap decision to pass responsibility to the Alliance, a new faction emerging around Sullust. At the half-complete temple of the New Jedi Order, he passed them on the Marshall Jacen Voidstalker. The Alliance quickly sought out members of the Academy and Republic to ensure the Holocrons were still accessible to the Padawans of all the major light side orders. New key cards were created, with passphrase and biometric security to ensure two of the major factions wished to recall the holocrons in future. [/SIZE]
