Mission The Grand Tour (ALL Light-side Enclaves and Temples)

The game is simple, and subconsciously was probably inspired by the list made by Kitter Bitters Kitter Bitters and the list made by Matsu Ike Matsu Ike :
  • When you're tagged, either A) reply with the short info below or B) give some notice that the Wake of Balmorra finds your enclave or temple abandoned or destroyed (or just doesn't find it at all).
  • You can jump in with options A or B on behalf of your enclave(s) or temple(s) AT ANY TIME regardless of whether I've tagged you already. The bigger the Grand Tour, the better.
  • Resources could include lightsaber crystals, training tools, holocrons, gear, weapons, artifacts, consumables, maps, money, or more specific things like local specialities.
  • Consider using just a few key words — we're not looking for anything as heavy as a Codex sub. If you're going to go ham, do it in the 'striking memory' part.
  • With cargo and passengers accumulated, I'll tag a few more enclaves and temples.
Enclave/temple name:
Primary tradition(s): Jedi, Witch, Matukai, Fallanassi, etc.

THIS IS A POSTING GAME, NOT A NARRATIVE THREAD. VIGNETTES ARE WELCOME BUT ENTIRELY SECONDARY.

The good ship Wake of Balmorra touches down at your temple or enclave. In the aftermath of Coruscant's fall, it's on a mission to connect with as many as possible, spur trade of knowledge and resources, place students and refugees, and establish long-term connections.

And a touch of the blues
Enclave/temple name: Kattadan Jedi Enclave
Primary tradition(s): Jedi, Warden of the Sky, Blue Coral Diver Witch
Signature skills: Force Resistance, Instinctive Astrogation, Force Piloting, Tech Usage, Force power creation
Resources wanted: Hyperspace routes, Dark Side/Sith Artifacts
Resources offered: Starships, Starship repair, hyperspace maps, specialty technology
Accepting junior students: Yes
Accepting senior students: Yes
Sending junior students: Yes
Sending senior students: Yes
Other passengers: Vodet Vodet who will be making connections for the Enclave
Striking memory: Aside from the tall glass window structure that is the Temple within the coastal community of Tidehome, the top floor of the Temple does not have a typical Jedi Council, instead it has a mixed bag of Jedi Navigators and Non-Force Sensitive Explorers, the room is filled with a large holographic display of a constantly updating Galaxy Map, demonstrating hyperspace routes and Paths. Jedi compasses, and even the occasional Sith Wayfinder are found in this room. There are plenty of ports for the variety of astromech and pilot droids the galaxy has.

For those who prefer to seek what is closer to the ground, rooms of Sentinels, and Consular/Sentinels working on blending the various teachings of the Force to master new techniques for use against the dark side. There is a large vault that is guarded by a pair of armored Selkath.

For RP Sake

As the good ship Wake of Balmorra arrives in Kattadan space, she is greeted by a Mon Calamari MC-65 Cruiser, flanked by a pair of Liberator II-class cruisers. E-Wing fighters, typical of Kattadan over the X-Wing were dispatched to greet the vessel. Explorer vessels were coming and going as a regular occurrence, many created by Starchaser Enterprises or Silk Holdings Limited. As the Wake enters Kattadan atmosphere, V-Wing airspeeders would meet the vessel to bring it to either its atmospheric holding location, or to its landing position.

As they enter the town of Tidehome before entering the official grounds.

Enclave/temple name: Barab-Ek; a planetoid previously towards the southern end of the galaxy, but recently catapulted just west of Alliance space by the planeshift
Primary tradition(s): Jedi/the Guardians of Barab, Barabel students trained by Master Kornon
Signature skills: Sense for deception similar to the Order of Shasa's, Tapas, tracking and hunting via the Force and otherwise, close combat using Barab ore knives
Resources wanted: High technology, starships
Resources offered: High quality durable woven fabrics, hunting equipment; Barab ore knives, to the few who prove themselves as incorruptible as Barab-Ek's guardians
Accepting junior students: No
Accepting senior students: No
Sending junior students: No
Sending senior students: Yes
Other passengers: Kornon joins the party briefly, before returning to his duties with the Lightsworn on Atrisia. One of the guardians, Tharen, accompanies Kornon, but stays aboard the Wake for the rest of the journey to learn from other enclaves. Tharen is tough, vigilant, and respectful.
Striking memory: The city itself -- a colony of close to 5000, who over the course of four decades were able to shape an otherwise barren planetoid into a thriving environment, a white-walled citadel gleaming at its center, built from the guts of the original colony ship. Everything is crafted by hand; the city is no different.

The Wake of Balmorra briefly goes back and forth between Barab-Ek's Guardians of Barab and the Jedi, Wardens of the Sky, and Witches who call the Kattadan Enclave home.
  • Barabel senior students transfer to Kattada, a tropical paradise with amazing fishing for the carnivorously inclined. The route between Barab-Ek and Kattada proves to be an efficient one thanks to instinctive astrogation from the Kattadans and Captain Quill, meeting the Enclave's need for additional hyperspace routes.
  • Kattadan senior students transfer to Barab-Ek, bringing starship technology and small starships to meet local needs. Some Kattadan junior and senior students remain aboard. The junior students are set up to share the crew quarters under the supervision and care of the senior students and Captain Quill's B-1 translator battle droids, Daella and Diana.
  • Persistent passengers (in cargo hold cots) now include the hermit Jend-Ro Quill of Pagodon, Master Vodet Vodet of Kattada, and Tharen, a Guardian of Barab.
  • The Wake of Balmorra subsequently puts in at Ahto City on Manaan to visit the Order of Shasa, with whom Captain Quill lived for years. A couple of Kattadan students remain with the Shasans and a few Selkath Shasan junior and senior trainees come aboard. They get on very well with the Kattadans (waterworlds) and with the Barabels (similar skillsets and ethos).
  • The ship's cargo now includes Pagodon's Force training tools (used by the students aboard), Kattadan star maps and technology, Barab-Ek's woven fabrics and hunting gear, and Selkath diving gear and underwater-use personal technology. (The Kattadans are fans of that stuff but need to share.)
  • Future planned or hoped-for stops are slated to include the Jedi Temple of Monastery ( Mishel Mishel ), the New Cov Jedi Temple ( Valery Noble Valery Noble ), Shiraya's Sanctuary on Naboo ( Briana Sal-Soren Briana Sal-Soren ) and the Temple of Solace on Sedesia ( Darth Callidus Darth Callidus ).

A closer look at the Wake of Balmorra's visit to Manaan:

Enclave/temple name: Enclave of the Order of Shasa, Ahto City, Manaan
Primary tradition(s): Order of Shasa
Signature skills: Perceiving deception, Progenitor's Call (channelling weird whalesong to interrupt focus or strengthen oneself), Waveform (enhanced Force pushes and waves, especially in water), fira blade combat, underwater combat
Resources wanted: Diplomatic support
Resources offered: Waterproofed personal equipment and diving gear
Accepting junior students: No
Accepting senior students: Yes
Sending junior students: Yes
Sending senior students: Yes
Other passengers: No
Striking memory: While supervised by Shasan adepts, expedition members were able to use deep-sea diving gear or a submersible to meet a giant, sapient firaxa whale-shark, the Progenitor. She is not the original Progenitor, who was murdered during the Sith invasion of Manaan, but she took up this mantle about sixty years ago and was relocated from another world with a major Selkath population and kolto production.
