The God-Machines: Part I

"So you stowaway on my ship?" Cedric asked of [member="Thor"], something between displeasure and amusement ringing in his voice. He regarded the techno-creature with something akin to curiosity, though now was not the time to learn of foreign gods or their beliefs.

"I don't have time to deal with this. Gerard, take him to one of the cells. We can talk once this situation has been settled, and you might be allowed aboard." The Archlord explained to the stranger. It was truly all he could offer the creature. One of the ensigns rose from his chair to guide the trespasser to the brig. A cell would await him near the back of the vessel where he could cause little harm, and he would be pushed from Cedric's mind the moment he left the bridge.

"Mister Wemk, Empress, join Lord Fuga's boarding team. See what we can find." He added, sending a simple 'ok' click to Drox's comms. The Chimaera's boarding vessels would deploy after Fuga's marines.

An anomaly erupted at the edge of the nebula. It was a gathering of energy turning in upon itself that did not expand, but rather moved slowly toward the Acerbitas.

"Fighters, investigate that disturbance. It's likely just a random fluctuation, but it pays to be careful."

A pause.

"Then remain here Antherion, though I will be boarding the Acerbitas soon. I wish to see the great beast for myself."

Drox lined up his Cruiser to level off with the ship, his boarding craft was launched and landed in all the Hanger Bays. The marines moved quick as they moved over to the larger air locks to allow the Cruiser to tether to the monster of a craft. This would allow for safer transfer of ground solders as the marines alone could never clear the ship with any type of speed. The unknown scan from outside the nebula was worrying to Drox, but he had one mission that needed all his attention.

Once the marines gave the all clear for the larger airlock, the Cruiser pulled up to one side. From where the Archlord was stationed, the Cruiser was dwarfed by the Super Star Destroyer. A masterpiece for the head of the Dominion to possess. Drox looked at it as a huge security risk as it could never be 100% secure.

When the docking processing was finished, the legion of soldiers moved aboard the ship to provide what Shadow of security they could for even a corner of the ship. Drox's Legion would wait for the other forces before making their way to the bridge. "My liege, the ship is now secure for your part to board, we will stay attached until you have control of the bridge sir."

Alyson went quickly to go join the boarding team, and was quickly escorted to another ship before being sent to an airlock in order to be loaded onto the god machine itself. It was a mighy vessel, one that stood the test of time despite being in such hostile conditions. The ship was a work of art to say the least. Soon the ship docked, it was tiny compared to the Aceribtas, which was a massive 5 kilometers, but even the cruiser itself was extremely large by human standards, the scales of these ships were massive, Alyson never thought it was possible to build things that were this large.

Soon the ships were docked and the airlock had been sealed properly. She was accomanying [member="Drox Fuga"] personally, it would allow them to make their way to the bridge, and Allysons men were masters of close combat like that of which they were about to enter, if the rumors of these Daemons were true atleast.

Bhakt Wemk

The Prospective Weapon Master
Bhakt gave a quick nod and trailed Alyson and her men down to the hangar. They were quickly transferred to Lord Fuga's vessel. They made their way to the airlock and waited for the ship to line up with the Acerbitas. The tension in the air was palpable as the ship slowly approached and finally a small lurch was felt as the ships connected. The hissing of venting atmosphere was heard and then a loud clunk as the ships docked completely. The whole action brought Bhakt back to his pirate days, though of course the ragtag pirate crew he used to roll with was nothing compared to the organised military machine that was the Dominion.

The airlock opened slowly and the Dominion marines flitered in securing the immediate area. He took up position with Fuga's forces, so they could start making their way toward the bridge. The ship only seemed to operating under emergency power though that could wait. The bridge needed to be taken first to get an overall status of the ship. Then the long process of securing the ship.
