The Gathering, an annual event hosted on the Hunter's Moon of Sojourn, which brings together an assortment of varying individuals, ranging from successful business entrepreneurs to those just starting up; political figures from an assortment of factions and organizations from the Outer Rim Territories to the Deep Core; and those aspiring delinquents from the criminal underworld, ranging from bounty hunters, mercenaries and crime lords -- all of which have gathered for three days at the invitation of their host, Alicia Drey.

Hi community.

I am setting up another Gathering event. It's the second one I have done on Chaos, with the last occurring back in old 2014. It's essentially a place where new and old figures come together at a time where they normally wouldn't. Crime Lords mixing together with Senators of the Republic, for example. This isn't a party, mind. Think of it like a convention for business, where everyone can sit down, discuss and iron out deals in a setting of seclusion, away from prying eyes and without interference.

The main event of the Gathering will be showcasing the fruits of a major project I have been running with Chandrila DataTech. I will be showing everyone an experimental shield generator that will give a ship or small structure a shield that is impenetrable. I hope to entice people into working with me in the future on other technological feats.

Hopefully, with any luck, I'll have enough people interested in participating. I'm hoping to make this a monthly event, much like Jon's treasure trials. We'll have to see where it goes from here.

This will essentially be chapter two of Project Praesidium, where the generator will be constructed and functional. This will be the final test, where the shield will be activated for the first time. Tests that follow on it's invulnerability will be done for the amusement of others attending the Gathering. It'll also bring us to the required 100 post mark needed for a major project.

I'd like both of you to come. We can talk about the bounty I posted up on [member="Fos Misao"] and sort out the details needed to start our search for him In Character.

I'd also like Joon to be there. Placing her in an environment where she'll be interacting with 'normal' people (not Sith) would be interesting and good character development. I'd also like to start bringing the Justiciara Noctare identity into the fold and into the business that Alicia conducts outside of the Sith training that we normally do. You cool for that?

Fantastic. Thanks again for the whopping 39 posts we managed to put together in the Project Praesidium thread. If both of you would like to continue that thread, then we certainly can and give it a rounded ending.

As for the Gathering, I'll see you both there. If there is any other business you would like to discuss- whether work related or personal- then we can roleplay it there, and of course, if anyone turns up to the thread that you would like to conduct business / interact with, then be my guest.

Hi everyone. I'll be starting the Gathering thread on the 19th. This is because I am waiting for the Chandrila Group auction to finish, which ends at 23:00 PM GMT on the 18th. I'm likely to begin the thread sometime in the early hours of the morning due to my sleep pattern etc. I want the new members of Chandrila Group's board to come along, for introductions and so on.

Bar any more bids, it looks like you two are effectively going to win at least one of the Lots that I put on offer. As per the rules of the auction, you will be expected to participate in roleplay that contributes to the growth of the company, as all threads that we write together will contribute to future tier advancements. I am yet to meet either of you In Character yet, so this is a prime opportunity to get to know the two people who invested into my company and discuss future business together.
