  • Structure Name: The Garden of Death
  • Classification: Botanical Garden
  • Location: Eve
  • Affiliation: Agents of Chaos
  • Accessibility:
Anyone exploring Eve may be granted access to the Garden of Death. It is easy to find, as it is in the center of the capital city and there are signs everywhere pointing to it. However, not all portions of the garden are open to the public, and some of them require special clearance for entrance.
  • Description:
The Garden of Death can be found near the Tower in the very center of Eve. A botanical garden that features a few ever greens and every deadly plant known in the Galaxy, visitors are advised to look around at their own discretion, but not to touch anything. Some the plans that can move on their own are locked behind cages and glass barriers to ensure no visitor would be trapped, but should any visitor be careless enough to attempt getting too near, the garden's guards nor managers take any form of responsibility.

Aside for the merely being a tourist trap, the Garden of Death also serves the Agents of Chaos and other research facilities found on Scintilla directly by providing one of many optional places to conduct both research and experiments.

  • The Public Gardens
The Public Gardens are the part of the Garden of Death that are open and accessible to all, featuring flowers, plants, vines, and almost anything botanical from across the Galaxy that could be considered dangerous. The collection is still in its very early stages, and many signs hung invite visitors to come again in a few months to witness more and more plants that would happily kill them if given the chance. The plants you will find here, among others:
    • Acid Plant – Originally found on Hoth and Dagobah, these precious plants shoot acid on those who walk beneath them.
    • Arool – A type of cactus from Ithor, it is mostly its consumption that is considered poisonous.
    • Chawix – thorny vines tat belong to carnivorous-poisonous plants which hail from Ansion, which inject victims with nerve poison, rendering adult humans and near-humans dead within minutes.
    • Darkkoninn –Beautiful to look at, this plant procures poisonous black berries. Consumption is not recommended.
    • Harrowbane – A poisonous and dangerous weed that could have an acidic burning effect on some species.
    • Kewafi Flower – Another beautiful flower to behold, this precious babies from Joralla could shoot poisonous barbs at visitors who don't know any better.
    • Mekebve Spores which produce Mekebve Pollen – Closed off tightly behind containers to avoid any accidental pollen spread. Bad allergies will seem like a walk in the park compared to what these things could do to people. Most forms of mammalians could be sffected by these.
    • Coma-Bloom – Do not let the pretty yellow flowers that grow in the coma-bloom fool you. They will happily affect your brain if you eat them, and not in ways you'd like to think about.
    • Viper Plans – Beware its tentacles.
    • Thornsuckle – Previously believed to be extent, Discordia managed to obtain a sample of it and let it flourish in the Garden of Death.
    • Stingwort – Extreme pain, anaphylactic shock, and death, this is truly the plant that keeps on giving!
    • Purple Stingwort – Like the Stingwort, but this time in purple! Don't let the color seduce you, this is a plant waiting to kill you!
  • The Restricted Laboratories
Closed off labs to which only scientists and researchers with the highest clearances may enter, not a coin was put into savings when it could be spent on bettering these laboratories. The team includes various people and species from across the galaxy, researching not only what the plants they have, both in the gardens and in secret containers can do, but also how they may be weaponized and be made much deadlier than they already are.

  • The Safe Areas
Visitors would not truly be safe unless they had parts of the Garden of Death through which they could actually walk. The roads that stretch from here to there throughout the Gardens are perfectly safe for them, and a few stretches of grass with benches and areas for picnics were made sure to be built as well so that staying and enjoying the view was definitely an option for those interested. There is even a little kiosk that holds various kinds of soft drinks as well as pre-packaged sandwiches can be found in the premise as well.

  • The Lake
A small lake can be found in the center of the garden, offering humidity to the plants that need it as well as providing breeding grounds for various aqua-plants that could be used to fulfill the goals of Agents of Chaos as well.

High - One could easily argue that the plants themselves are the security measures. However, guards that patrol the gardens regularly are also in place, both organic and droids. Surveillance cameras are everywhere, both in and out of sight, and a few kinds of turrets in case of need are planted around the gardens as well. Entrance to the Garden is free and the prices at the kiosk are low, so there is no genuine concern for anything financial related, however, all eyes are out to look for potential would-be thieves for the dangerous plants themselves.

The Garden of Death is, as any other structures and places in Scintilla, a relatively new place. What had begun with an idea randomly tossed about was quickly put into the word, the passion and dedication of Discordia (the leader of Agents of Chaos, NPC, no sub at present) herself ruling over the project with an iron fist. Had the illusive woman been given truly free reign, the gardens would be not a tourist trap but a death trap instead, luring people to eat them so that she would be entertained.

However, even the more chaotic among her people spoke against such a thing, and a few suggestions by the Firsts were added to ensure the place served different purposes. The construction of the Garden was finished relatively fast, and within a handful of weeks, most of the plant samples had arrived from various corners of the galaxy.

The laboratories were the latest addition, turning the place from just somewhere with a view to another tool of death and destruction in the hands of Agents of Chaos.

The Garden itself is considered a very romantic place to be at, and around dusk, many couples of various species can be seen walking around the Garden, having picnics, and doing all those disgustingly cutesy stuff that couples do. On weekends, the safe portions of the Garden are filled with entire families coming to have a good time.
