860 ABY… After centuries of turmoil in the Core, the spark of hope is reignited as the newly formed Galactic Alliance reclaims the Queen of the Core, Coruscant, as their capital. Through the means of friendship and diplomacy the Alliance’s effort to reclaim their rightful territory sees the assimilation of dozens of new systems. From Coruscant, the Alliance is governed by the Senate - a body of noble politicians and faithful bureaucrats all working in their own way to ensure stability in the galaxy. Senators from each planet, each with their unique perspective and personal agenda, gather together to make decisions on behalf of their people.
Still, even in the illustrious halls of the Senate Building, not everything is always what it seems. Behind closed doors, crude negotiations are had, schemes are devised, and corruption seeks to take hold.
Will you be the voice of your planet? Or will you let power go to your head?
On land or in the black of space, the militaries of the Galactic Alliance stand united on the battlefield. While the Navy and the Starfighter Corps command dominion over the skies, the Army (the largest branch of the GADF) serve as boots on the ground. Together they are a force to be reckoned, even to the most hawkish of enemies.
Whether they serve as a specially trained Marine, a brutal Shocktrooper, or a swashbuckling Pilot, the soldiers of the Defense Force have one mission: protect and defend the Alliance and its people.
How will you serve the galaxy?
Even in the farthest reaches of space, agents of good work to restore order to the galaxy. One of the most important components of the Alliance’s efforts to spread freedom is the intelligence agents who work in secret to undermine the enemies of light. Using subterfuge and anonymity, these spies pass freely into the shadows and gather important intel to further the cause of the Alliance.
These brave citizens walk where no other dares to trod, infiltrating even the most dangerous command centers and control rooms all to keep the people of the Alliance safe.
Will you sneak behind enemy lines to defend our republic?
When darkness threatens the peace of the galaxy, the light has always risen to meet it. Newly reformed, the Jedi Order seeks to restore its former glory as defenders of democracy and harbingers of hope. Arm in arm with the Alliance, these brave knights of old serve as guardians, ambassadors, healers, and advisors to both the government and the military.
The Jedi have given the Alliance the tools necessary to defeat the darkness of the Sith and restore order to the galaxy.
Will you help bring balance to the Force?
The galaxy is vast and the possibilities for self-determination are endless. The Alliance is a place where opportunity lurks behind every corner for those with the will to seek it out. Bounty hunters bringing justice to the lawless, tycoons of industry looking for their next acquisition, even some force users choose to walk their own path.
Whatever path the denizens of the Alliance choose they are all, in their own way, ultimately contributing to lasting peace and continuing stability in the galaxy.

Writers of all skill levels and characters of all types are welcome to join in the fun. Our faction is also home to a warm and open community of diverse players who are truly dedicated to enjoying all that Chaos has to offer.
The diversity of our membership allows us to accomplish a number of amazing feats. Around the forums you will find our members hosting rapid-fire speed dominions where planets are conquered in a matter of days; posting in-depth lore in the Codex or Factory to explain some exciting new concept or weaponry; or developing compelling storylines over the course of several threads with many different players.
