The Galactic Alliance
Standing against the Dark Side
The Galactic Alliance is a faction formed on action the Dark Side is ever present in the galaxy and the Alliance was built to not only stand against it, but to seek it out and confront it wherever it may appear. Lead by a Triumvirate of the Grand Marshall of the New Jedi Order, Supreme Commander of the Military and the Chief of State, the Alliance is a no-frills approach to Star Wars. Built from the ground up to keep the war effort moving, and to protect those who cannot stand against the Dark, we are the faction who will protect the galaxy.
Supreme Commander Nemo Ven is the senior military leader within the Alliance. An elder Mon Calamari, who has been fighting the Sith since his battlegroup was cut off during exercises, this being has first hand knowledge of the tenacity of the Dark Side and fully believes that inaction against those who support the evil in the galaxy will bring all the worlds to their ruin. Striking from Sullust, Ven is more comfortable on the front lines, leading fleets of outstanding officers, and commanding assault teams of highly trained soldiers and remarkable fighter pilots.
Omai Ren leads the New Jedi Order, the literal sword of the Galactic Alliance against the tyranny of the dark forces in the galaxy. Having been trained all his life as a Jedi Guardian, he found a kinship with Nemo Ven along the mindset that intent is nothing without action. Having lead the New Jedi Order for years, he encourages the Jedi under his charge to understand outside ideals so long as the message is the same: the end of the dark side.
The Alliance government is made up of planetary governors pulled together by the Sullustan Caita Xen. Having stood as a Minister of Defense and a Minister of Foreign Affairs in previous governments, she leads with a sense of freedom and unity rather than petty bureaucracy. Every world within the Alliance is free to do as it wishes, so long as they are unified in the approach of the needs of the many
The Alliance Needs You
All interested beings will find a use for their skillsets.
The Military of the Galactic Alliance is varied and full of units that are looking for a member just like you. Our starfighter corps is lead by Rogue Squadron, that elite unit of legends. However, they are not the only starfighter unit that launches their fighters steadfastly against the odds. The use of Starfighters can not be performed without the fleet of the Alliance, which houses the best trained officers and enlisted personnel the galaxy has ever seen. The ships and bases of the Alliance are also responsible for ensuring our soldiers, agents, and SpecOps units are fully equipped, and provided with the best opportunities to get to their objective and complete it.
The military of the Galactic Alliance is full of highly trained individuals, some blind to the Force, but others who are capable of using it. These may be Jedi or not, however, the ones that are not completely military focused will find home within the New Jedi Order. Highly trained, and focused on learning by doing, the New Jedi Order is lead by combat oriented Weapons Masters and the Sages, focused on the mysteries of the Light Side, while the wet-work may be performed by Watchmen, however just as there are many Jedi within the New Jedi Order, there are more jobs than can be assumed.
The State of the Government is very simply put: the needs of the many over the few, and freedom for all. The mandates for planetary governors and representatives of the federal aspects of the Alliance are meant to provide worlds with their own sense of being, all while feeling secure as part of a system that is much larger than any one world can provide.
And for those who do not fit within these three realms, there are many more opportunities within the Alliance, The Merchant Fleet, full of scoundrels, smugglers, and masters of their vessels, ensuring trade routes and goods get to where they are needed, no matter the cost. Our Strategic Intelligence Service is rivaled by few in the galaxy to providing intelligence services and work that requires much more finesse than even a blaster can handle. And supporting the New Jedi Order is supported by a collection of Fringe Force Users, all unified in the belief that the Dark Side must be eliminated, or at the very least, controlled in the galaxy.
