The Fox and The Hound (Vulpesen)

Vulpesen smiled at the small bit of warmth, though his face gained some of its own, mostly due to the Varg's absolute lack of understanding when it came to modesty. Still, culture shock wasn't something to make him freak out, what with being raised by a species and finding out that he wasn't human at the age of nineteen. "Well, perhaps I can take you to enjoy it some time, just don't expect me to be joining you on the stroll. Cold doesn't agree with me as you can see."

Maybe if I went in Wolf Form, you could. My fur would keep you cozy.
Nesh's tail attempted to wag beneath the gently flowing water. She'd only met Vulpesen a few days ago, and she'd already gotten to see a cool ship, an even cooler planet, and she even got a new wolf friend! This wasn't something she'd ever expected, of course, but that just made her all the more happy when she thought about going other places with this fox-man.
She noticed his cheeks turn a slight shade of pink.
Pink cheeks. Feeling sick? Maybe a fever?
Nesh got closer to him, trying to get a better look at his face.

"well, when I think about it, I do remember now that I've got my own fox form." He gave her a bit of a wider smile, at least until she moved even closer. "Umm... no, not exactly." His face turned a darker crimson and he took a half step back. "Its just that well... the thing with other species in the galaxy and clothes..." He took a moment to go through the ashlan link. Thankfully the canines didn't communicate with words so much as ideas and feelings. Thus, it was rather easy to explain social constructs such as decency in clothing and covering. Even if she didn't fully understand the need, it would transfer the ideas and feelings that come with such

Nesh tilted her head curiously. She always knew that other people didn't like her without clothes on. The embarrassment Lenta communicated that came from Vulpesen was a testament to that. But it still puzzled her as to why it made him, as well as everyone else, so uneasy. Was she scarier without them or something? Seriously, what was wrong with her?
It's not like I'm a monster, after all. Clothes are complicated. Don't make much sense to me. Always too many layers. No protection, but really constricting. Seems like people hate me with or without them, though.
It made Nesh feel strangely a tiny bit sad that he seemed not to want to be around her without those stupid pieces of fabric. She didn't know much about beauty and stuff. But she could never find anything attractive about clothes.

Vulpesen soon calmed back down as he listened to her, letting out a small laugh. Once his face had resumed its normal shade, he took a moment to collect his thoughts before speaking. "That's probably because its seen as a sign of indecency, or lack of regard for the opinions of others. Likely because many in the galaxy would actually see it as a sign that you're ready to mate with just about anyone." It was odd to define the necessity of clothes. Certainly not something he did every day. "I suppose the difference between this form and that of your wolf is, that your fur seems to act as a sort of clothing for you. That and your seen as animalistic and thus the lack of covering is natural and acceptable."

Mate with everything? There were people who wanted to mate with everything? Nesh still didn't quite understand Vulpesen's explanation. Nevertheless she'd take it into account.
I'm still a wolf like this. Just seems stupid....
But she didn't talk about it further.

He smiled a bit and laid back, simply allowing himself to float a bit in the water. "I suppose you are." His tail swished through the water, as he finally relaxed. "So, when do you want to go to hoth? After you've had your time here, or would you like to wait a bit?" He wasn't sure why, but he found the prospect of travelling with her to be a fun idea, especially given how interesting the wolf had turned out to be.

Nesh took a moment to fully submerge herself in the water. She let her hair get good and wet before coming back up.
You don't like cold, so we can wait. Don't need to put you through two super cold things in a row.

He smiled and swam to the edge before crawling out and sitting on a bent over tree. "Alright, if you can manage to get a hold of me, I'm ready to go whenever ya want." He leaned back, resting against the wood while his tails tarted to shake and wag. A shower of water was flung off, spraying around him as he dried the fur as best as he could. "Actually, do you have a comlink or any of the like?"
