OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Space Station Name: The Forge of Gods
  • Station Model: No official nomenclature but factory sub is here
  • Classification: Deep Space Research and Manufacturing Station
  • Location: Galactic Northeast of Chommell Minor in deep space (Look for the black dot)
  • Affiliation: Confederacy of Independent Systems, The Dire Wolves Mercenary Company
  • Population: Sparse
  • Demographics: A variety of the CIS's best and brightest minds around to monitor and operate the facility for it's chief objectives, which is the study, creation and replication of various elements/isotopes for use in CIS technology to help advance the standards of living for all.
  • Accessibility: Extremely isolated in deep space, with automated ships making deliveries to and from the station both to protect the general public from it in case of an accident, and to keep it extremely hidden and secure against would be aggressors.
  • Traffic: High - A lot of automated civilian traffic making deliveries to and from the station to nearby labs and production facilities.
  • Description: This place is a hub of research, production and essentially finding way to mass produce and create new materials to create new and improved products for the greater advancement of all. This place houses all of the possible needs and wants for the population on board who's sole purpose to continually research materials with the Particle Accelerator, and keep the particle accelerator running and associated facilities at peak capacity.
POINTS OF INTEREST

  • Living Quarters - This is location where all organic and living personnel are to essentially live and reside. Each member here is given an apartment style living space complete with shower/lavatory area, kitchen, and a small living room with a holoprojector that converts into a sleeping area with a concealed bed. All apartments on the station are able to be locked with personalized codes, however security can override these doors with a command generated from the security station.
  • Recreation areas - These recreation areas are many and have more than enough space to provide for all of the staff of the station. These areas include gyms, pools, arcades/video entertainment, bars, restaurants, and even a viewing deck for observation of outer space.
  • Hospital/Infirmary - The medical facilities on board the vessel are state of the art by any measure, being able to not only treat any minor/major wounds but also deal with any kind wounds or strange illnesses aboard with all of the scanning equipment, synthesizing facilities, and sheer amount of brain power and supplies on board.
  • Security Hub - The security hub of the station is a state of the art console filled room with direct access to all of the tech nodes of the station to monitor absolutely everything going on board. This is from people working to recreation areas, to the docks. And all of this is tied together here as well with operators in the Security Hub being able to tie themselves onto the ground level with Legionaire droids that augment each team of security operators, making each of the squads able to directly live feed into the hub allowing for commanders of security an eye witness view of the goings on to not only enforce security standards but to also ensure that there are no abuses of power on the station.
  • The Particle Accelerator - The center piece of the station, the larger of the two rings which allows particles to be accelerated fractions of the speed of light to collide into each other and create new elements or isotopes and not only allow study of these particles, but also be able to recreate these on a massive scale.
  • Molecular Furnace - The secondary piece that supports the particle accelerator, the molecular furnace allows the station to recycle all refuse and waste generated not only by the population, but the particle accelerator to continually allow the station to run at peak efficiency and capacity. This molecular furnace however won't be able to generate any of the newer elements and isotopes coming out of the particle accelerator until enough of the new isotopes or elements are created to give the molecular furnace a baseline to work with.
  • Docks - This is of course where the exchange happens between the CIS and the station, allowing transports to bring in crates of goods and raw materials to trade with this station and the station to trade with them all the newly created or generated raw materials in return so that the rest of the CIS can benefit from the technologies and materials researched by this station.
  • Storage Rooms - These are massive cargo warehouses and storage tanks that hold all of the products produced by this station's particle accelerator and molecular furnace, while also storing all of the goods/materials brought in by outside operators arriving and trading through the docks. These are sparsely populated and no one should be here without proper authorization as this area is almost totally run by droids that operate on the station.
  • Comms Deck - This is the comms nerve center of the station, which is wall to wall of terminals, screens, and holo-tables where the crew of this station are in non-stop communication with the outside sectors of the CIS. It is here that materials are bargained for and dealt out to major players inside the CIS and on the side all traffic going out of the station and into the station is monitored for the possibility of security threats to the station.
  • Maintenence tunnels - These are small access tunnels that are essentially back access routes to most of the station allowing maintenance personnel and droids to access the inner workings of the station to perform necessary repairs and up keep on the station. There are ladders and such leading everywhere here as the artificial gravity in this section is suspended to increase safety as these tunnels not only run in the horizontal, but vertical directions as well meaning that if the gravity were to be enabled, and you fell down a shaft, you were gonna fall for a while.
  • Botanical/Hydroponic Gardens - Here's the main production of not only Oxygen for the station's air supply but also here is the only source of food on board the station outside of food stuffs brought in by traders and others via the docks. This station however has a large enough hydroponics section to completely and totally self sustain itself in the event of the station going into lock down.
  • Reactor Decks - Here is where the main reactors and fuel storage for said reactors is placed. Being that there are two very, very huge power consumption items on the station (the molecular furnace and particle accelerator respectively) there are multiple reactors and very large fuel reserves for these reactors. These reserves are actually tied into the molecular furnace system as one of the primary functions of the molecular furnace is to generate fuel for these reactors.
  • Mess Halls - Here is the free cafeterias for all living personnel on board the station where you can get (slightly) less gourmet food than what you could find in the restaurants in the recreation zones. All you need to eat here is your identification and you can sit at very basic and utilitarian tables that seat up to six. The walls of these cafeterias are lined with holovids displaying either news or generic programming.

SECURITY
High -
Security forces being trained by TDW, number about 2,000 to 2,500 personnel for station defense. These organic personnel are augmented with another 600-650 Legionaire Battle droids to allow for each team of organic soldiers to have at least one droid with them to assist with networking with other squads and the security hub. Extra thick hull armor and extremely heavy shielding. Access points are controlled by various keys allowing for authorized persons to do what they need, while keeping unauthorized persons out. Integrated deploy-able anti-personnel turrets containing M-2 Heavy Machine Guns to supplement security forces in the case of boarding actions. Internal ray shielding and other preventive measures that can be utilized to lock down sections of the station.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
This station was first created by an idea of Dr. Ryan Alphonse with a simple purpose. To take the relatively meager and simple facilities that he has hold of over the Aegis, and make something far more vast, with much more capabilities and ability for him to apply himself to his new found purpose. To create newer technology to make the galaxy safer, and provide more for the average being as if people have access to more resources, they can stop fighting each other over resources as often. And to do this, Dr. Alphonse knows that he'll need a facility to not only generate known elements from other resources with the use of something like a molecular furnace, but that he'll also need access to something stronger, and having much more control over what's created to make entirely new elements or isotopes. And as such, he came up with the idea of a particle accelerator that alters the atomic composition of elements by smashing particles together at various fractions of the speed of light, to make things entirely new, or generate isotopes of things normally not able to be achieved by a molecular furnace due to the level of control present in the particle accelerator. And because of the machine's size and power requirements, Dr. Alphonse knew he'd need an entire station to support this machine. Enter "The Forge of Gods".

This station lead by Dr. Alphonse and staffed by the best and brightest from around the CIS will allow for these dreams to be realized. With the particle accelerator allowing for the research into new materials, elements and isotopes of said elements, and a molecular furnace that's able to able to either generate whatever might be needed for the particle accelerator or keep said elements in refined states to allow for export to other notable manufacturers and developers in the CIS. This station is meant to be the focal point of new technological progress to allow for the creation of newer, better and more available materials that will break the chains of resource scarcity for development of brand new technologies.

And on the flip side to make sure that things are safe on the station, a security force of organic security personnel backed by Locke and Key's Legionnaire Battle Droids patrol the station from top to bottom, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that any disputes on board the station are handled in a safe, non-violent manner. However, their normal peace keeper attitudes does not mean that these men, women, and droids are going to shy away from a fight if presented. The original training for these peace keeping personnel is provided by The Dire Wolves Mercenary Company, however not to the extent of their commando programs, instead focusing more on technical skills and the ability to act as proper security professionals. This means that they are skipping the survival sections as those are a bit unnecessary in their security based environment, instead focusing on CQB, infantry tactics, and conducting themselves as professionals in a civilian environment. This training ensures that these security personnel are top notch both in de-escalating situations with speaking to people, and in resolving any fights whether it's a not so friendly brawl in a bar, to some pirates trying to board the station, with the security forces winning.

In conclusion this station has the best in class for research and development of new technologies and materials and has a security force to match. This should be the dream job for any would be researcher just starting out, and has a security force that would be the best of the best for any civilian standard. This place will become the embodiment of what progress will be in the galaxy, and won't be limited by petty bureaucratic bickering or lusts for power or greed. With Dr. Alphonse personally overseeing the station's workings and goings on, and The Dire Wolves on standby in case someone should try to intervene to take control, this station will be able to truly achieve these goals.

Please hyperlink Legionnaire Battle droids and M-2 Heavy Machine Guns.

  • Permissions: See Factory sub here
I know you have Permission links in the Factory sub, but please link them here, too.

This is a recommendation not a requirement, but I'd recommend breaking up the History section into individual paragraphs. It will make it easier to read.

Thanks for adding the links and making those edits.

'Legionaire Battle droids'

These droids are Closed Market and manufactured by Locke and Key Mechanics. The permission link you have does not seem to cover them.

I'm aware that you asked for permission in the Locke storefront, but the owner does not seem to have replied thus far. I'd recommend posting there again in case he missed it, or contacting him oocly via pm or on Discord.
