The Flower in the Lion's Den(Katarine/Private)

Christian Slade

In Darkness I Thrive
Christian could feel his heart beating a little faster as she spoke to him, looking up at him with those beautiful green eyes she had. She then spoke to him about her staying with them until they could work out an agreement that would be mutually beneficial, which despite his restraint made him smile a smooth, but interested smile. "I like the sound of that.", he whispered down at her, his knees growing notably weak at the thought of certain... benefits, though he didn't show it and forced himself to keep standing straight as she pranced off down the hall.

Doubling over for a moment and taking a deep, silent breath, Christian found his way back to the bed and took a seat as he waited on her to return and pack up her things. As he sat there he tried to compose himself, knowing that he couldn't act like some love weakened young girl when he needed to be acting a bit more like a man. Still, he couldn't understand how it was she made him feel so weak, but he certainly didn't appreciate it, despite how much he liked it.

"Is there anything in particular that you were wanting to do today?", Christian asked the girl as he heard her coming back down the hallway, his golden eyes watching and waiting for her with a soft smile on his face.

Katarine came back to find him waiting on her bed. She smiled brightly at him and sat a few boxes down. She started taking clothes off their hangers and folding them into a box. She didn't have a lot of stuff. A few changes of clothes fit easily into one of the boxes. She knelt down beside them as she folded her clothes neatly, placing her panties and other delicate items on top of her folded pants and shirts. He asked what she wanted to do and she thought for a moment. "You could show me your other casinos. Don't you have to go check on them anyway from time to time?"

She folded the box closed and grinned before she headed towards the bathroom. She could still hear him from the bedroom through the paper thin walls. "Honestly I haven't really done much on Zeltros. I know it's supposed to be a really great entertainment planet but so far all I've done since I got here is work." She spoke to him while she put her hairbrush, toothbrush, and a jar of perfume into the other box. She tossed a few other things into the box and brought it back into the bedroom. Her deep green eyes glanced around to see if she had missed anything. She didn't own any jewelry or any other shoes. Most of her stuff she had left at home when she ran away.

"What is your favorite thing to do on Zeltros?" She asked as she sat the box on of the first one and double checked to make sure she had everything.

"My favorite thing to do?", really not knowing exactly how to answer that question as he watched her go back and forth gathering her things to prepare to leave. "Actually, for a long time I've just been working really hard with these casinos... I guess I'd have to say my favorite thing USED to be to go to the night club and people watch, though now that doesn't seem so appealing."

Sitting there and thinking for a minute until she came back into the room and stopped, trying to think if she'd forgotten anything, Christian finally said, "I guess I'd have to say going out and letting the night surprise me. Something crazy always happens at night on Zeltros, I'm sure you're aware.", he said, smiling at the girl with a bit of a devious look on his face before he concluded by saying, "And there's a reason I have supervisors and managers running my casinos."

"So I don't have to.", he said, pulling himself up off the bed and standing, seeing that she seemed to be ready, though she was double checking. "I only make the big decisions like company direction and in what ways to expand and evolve my form of entertainment."

"The nights on this planet do seem to get interesting" She admitted with a wink towards him. She seemed to decide she had everything because she picked up the boxes like she was ready to go. "Well why don't we just go see what type of trouble we can get into then?" She headed down the hallway, carrying the boxes with her. She sat them on her couch and doubled checked her kitchen but there wasn't much in there. Katarine usually just ate whatever was left over at the club she worked at to save money.

"So we can take this stuff back to your apartment and then we can go see what happens?" She smiled at him, wondering why he said people watching wasn't as appealing anymore. She waited for his response while she opened the door and picked up her small boxes to head down the stairs.

Christian got up and followed the young woman down the hall and back into the living room. As he reached the room, however, he was just sliding his datapad back into his pocket, an innocent smile on his face as he said, "Sure.", while he reached out and plucked the boxes out of her hands and dropped them on the last, biggest box. He then picked it up and carried it out her front door himself, turning and waiting for her to step out and lock up behind her. As she did, he waited for her to turn and follow him down the rickety steps that for the life of him he did not trust. And why should he? He was entirely too big a man trust unsure footing.

It didn't take them long to make it down stairs and out the door, a few watchful neighbors eyes meeting Christian's face with surprise as he returned their looks in kind, not knowing exactly what the big deal was, but continuing on none the less. He even made sure to walk in front of her and open the door for her by backing up through hit with his back against it, not knowing how else to compose himself really.

When they'd made it outside, Christian handed the boxes of to a man in a suit who took them and lead them over to a long, black luxury speeder. He set the boxes in the trunk as Christian busied himself with the door on the back end of the speeder, opening it and turning to lean against it, his right hand sliding into his pocket as he reached out with his left, holding it up for her to take in order to help her find her seat in the vehicle with ease, a playful smirk on the corner of his mouth.

He took her boxes from her and Katarine protested, claiming he really didn't have to do that. He didn't listen however and carried them down the rickety stairs to where a speeder was waiting. She hadn't heard him make the call for a driver so she smiled in surprise when she seen the speeder. The boxes were loaded and she took Christians hand with a smile. He helped her onto the speeder and they both took a seat.

"Did you decide where we are going?" Katarine asked him, her deep green eyes glancing around the luxurious speeder. She had never been inside one before. Technology on her planet was very behind, and what there was her parents kept locked away as a means to control their servants and slaves. She knew Daxium had been in one when he and their mother had traveled to the villages but Katarine was never allowed to go. She wasn't allowed to go anywhere outside the castle without Daxium and even then she had to beg him to take her outside.

"This is really nice." She commented, her eyes still peering over the vehicle.

Christian smiled at the girl as she looked around the inside of the luxury speeder. "Well, don't just sit there. Play.", he said, holding out his hands to the speeder and illustrating that she had free reign of the mini fridge, the datapad, holoscreen, the comm and anything else she wanted to touch or play with.

"As far as where we're going or what we're going.", he said, reaching over to the door and hitting a button so that the panel wall between the back area of the speeder and the driver's cockpit section rolled down to reveal a pleasant older man who turned around and glanced over his shoulder at them waiting on a destination request. "I figured...", he said, crossing one leg over the other and reaching back to prop his arms up on the back of their seats, not worrying about making her uncomfortable by propping his arm up behind her neck.

"...why not let you decide that for us?"

She was still looking around when Christian instructed her to play with anything she wanted. Without hesitation Katarine realized what she really wanted to play with was Christian. Her face turned red once again and she distracted herself by picking up the holopad and turning all the different lights on. She realized she could also make them change color and soon the entire vehicle was bathed in a warm red glow.

Katarine noticed the driver and smiled at him over the holopad. The driver didn't seem surprised to see Kat and she wondered if Christian was some playboy billionaire who often drove women around to see the sights. She was willing to bet his usual company wasn't some backwater runaway without a cred to her name. The driver seemed friendly however and smiled warmly at Katarine before tipping his hat at her. A moment latter his attention returned to the front and he was pulling into the trafic.

"There is a new club opening in the north district Sir. It's supposed to cater to the nightlife 24 hours round." The driver mentioned as he navigated the busy lanes. "It's called Rave."

Katarine glanced up at Christian over the holopad in her hands. "Shall we rave?" She smiled at him with those deep green innocent eyes, her hair barely brushing the back of his arm.

Christian watched the girl playing with the holopad next to him and realized how much he'd wished for her to have chosen him instead of that distracting gadget. How much he would have preferred for her to put that holopad down and crawl up on his lap to look down on him as they made their way to "Rave", where he would likely have to keep young, disgusting little weasels from trying to pull her out to the dance floor or take drugs she had no business taking.

"I think I'd like to see you let loose a bit.", Christian admitted with a bit of a laugh as he glanced over at her with that charming smile he had. It was a lie, though, and a good one, because he knew he would much rather spend time with her alone rather than with any number of imbeciles trying to draw their attention from the only ones that were there that really mattered.

It was a sinful establishment where mistakes were made and regrets were in the making. Personally he could only stand them as long as it took for him to lead the prettiest woman out with him so they could find something more... strenuous to do. It was odd, though, how differently he felt about Katarine. He hadn't caught her eye from across a dark room or lured her into bed with his looks. She'd made him work for it, and he appreciated the challenge so much more than anything. She wasn't going to roll over and give something to him that was meant to be more precious, and that would keep him pursuing her far past the point of attaining that ever so sweet love he was sure she was capable of making with him.

Katarine felt her heart beat a little faster when he smiled at her and she returned the smile. Truthfully Katarine was in no way a "raver." The girl was about as promiscuous as a tea plant and just the thought of half naked high people all around was enough to send her into convulsions. However she figured when on Zeltros she might as well do as the Zeltroni do. She also felt like she had to keep up with some imaginary world she had concocted in her head where Christian was this eccentric playboy who spent all his time with lose women. It seemed they both were being only half truthful with the other and in reality if they both opened up they could have ended up somewhere like a play or something. However for now it looked like the rave was on.

Katarine continued to play with the lights, now making them change color in time with the music she had just turned on. The driver opened the door for them once he had navigated traffic and they exited the street to see a completely black building with neon rainbow letters reading "Rave." The windows were all blacked out as well and the place must have been sound proof because they couldn't hear anything from the street. It looked like the owner was trying to give the illusion of nightfall even during the brightest sunlight.

They got out of the speeder and joined the small line of people who were going inside. Katarine's eyes went wide when she seen that two of the women in line were wearing clothes that were so artfully torn up they barely covered their private parts. She was certainly not on her home planet anymore. She was worried for a second that the really big horrible guard standing by the door wasn't going to let them in. He certainly didn't think much of Katarine, whose pants and tank top, though tight, covered her entire body. However the girls with the torn up outfits were eying Christian appreciatively and that seemed to be enough for the bouncer, who let them through the door. As they walked over the threshold Katarine asked Christian, "Have you ever been to a rave before?"

She never got to wait for the answer. The second they were inside she felt someone pull her arm, pulling her over to the corner, which she hadn't expected. There some person wearing black had thrown glow in the dark necklaces around her neck, and grabbed her slender arms and were stuffing glow in the dark bracelets onto them. This seemed to be a very common thing for everybody who entered the club because the second the person in black was done they had pushed Katarine firmly in the small of her back, to make room for whoever was behind her. She stumbled forward and realized that she was now under black lights, which made her white shirt and newly acquired multicolored decorations glow brightly. This was nothing however compared to the sea of colors and flashing lights she seen in front of her. There was a huge dance floor in the middle of the room where bodies were pressing up against each other, waving their arms around, spilling drinks, and generally causing chaos. There were cages hanging from the floor where mostly naked women were dancing and a huge stage revealed a band that was currently playing brightly glowing instruments. There seemed to be at least one upper floor where tables were seated for people who didn't want to dance their heads off. Katarine hadn't ever seen anything like it, or heard anything so loud. The music was already making her eardrums pound. She was so caught off guard by the exotic scene that she hadn't realized her mouth had fallen open slightly and she was still standing in the middle of the group of people who had come in behind her. She felt someone shove her sideways to get her out of the way and she stumbled again. This seemed to bring her back to her senses and she looked around wildly, suddenly scared she had lost track of Christian.

A large grip had come from an arm that wrapped around Katarine, pulling her in at the hip. A large hand was firmly gripping her at the waist, and when she looked to see who it was she would see Christian's young, but serious face staring down at her, a few glowing necklaces hanging down from his long, muscular neck.

"Hold on to me.", he whispered into her ear as he leaned down to her. He then leaned back up and looked across the room, as he was about a head taller than everyone there. He pulled her by her waist tightly to his hip and held on as he guided them through the swaying, sweaty, young bodies all around them. The smell was sweet, though the hint of sweat was in the air, moisture thick all around them from the heat of their bodies.

He took her quickly to the edge of the room and worked his way around the room to a stair case lining the wall. He reached out and grabbed the railing, pulling her up with him as he lead her up to the second level where there would be less bodies and less dancing. When they reached the top of the stairs Christian loosened his grip so that she could proceed as she pleased, but he stayed close as he lead her over to the bar on the second floor.

Stopping there he glanced over his shoulder and said, "Do you have a preference?"

Katarine felt someone slip their arm around her waist and started, looking up to see Christian. Relief broke over her face and she smiled at him and nodded. Together they navigated the wild dance floor and made it to the second story balcony. The second story was less crowded and easily less chaotic, though the music was still very loud. Some people were pouring paint that glowed in the dark over the edge so that it poursed down on the dancers like multicolored rain. Katarine's eyes trailed over the scene in amazement, but her green eyes snapped back at Christian when he asked her if she had a drink preference.

"Something that won't burn my throat." This was the best response she could give. Katarine wasn't much of a drinker and wouldn't know what to order even if she had a whole list in front of her. A few moments latter the bartender had given Christian the drinks he ordered. To Katarine's delight hers looked more like a smoothie than alcohol and even had little pieces of fruit around the glass. It was the type of drink that had so much sugar you wouldn't realize you were drunk until it was too late. They sat down at a table and Katarine started to drink it through the glow in the dark bendy straw that came with it. It tasted like tangerines.

She smiled at him over the rim of her glass. "This place is insane." Just as she said it a guy walked up holding several glowing slim tubes of multicolored liquids.

"Shots?" He asked

Christian smiled at the girl as she tasted her drink, which she seemed to enjoy. He was happy that he'd made a good choice for her drink while he was still able to enjoy his more abrupt tasting whiskey. As he took a sip himself, he swallowed down the honey sweetened, yet harsh liquid and sighed in result. He then laughed at the girl's eager face as she admitted how crazy the environment was, which he had to agree with as he said, "You're certainly right about that, beautiful."

His comment didn't have much time to resonate, however, until a young man passed their table with some glowing tubes of liquid and asked if they'd like to take a shot. Christian leaned against the table with the same hand he held his glass in as he propped himself up with his free hand against his knee. As he saw the man he looked over at him and sighed, glancing over to Katarine with a smirk on his face.

"This night isn't about me.", he explained to the young man while watching Katarine with that smirk she seemed to be taking a liking to.

Katarine barely had time to blush when he called her beautiful when the man with the slender tubes of liquid had asked them if they wanted shots. Her fist instinct was to say no since she didn't know the man, had no idea what the bright colored liquid did, and was already horribly uneasy with all the sin floating around in the air.

"This night isn't about me."

Christian explained to the man and smirked at Katarine, who felt her stomach flip. She wasn't sure if he simply meant they would do whatever she wanted to do, or if he meant more like he was going at whatever pace she wanted. She didn't want him to think she was some young baby. Already she felt inexperienced and silly next to a man who was powerful, rich, and seemed very sure of himself. She gulped and looked back at the guy holding the tubes. "Umm.."

The mans eyes widened suddenly, sensing reluctance and like most men pouncing on it like some vulture looking for road kill. "A first timer! Splendid! You really have to try these. The pink one makes you see colors. The blue one increases your libido. The green one makes the room spin. The yellow one gives you energy."

Katarine felt her face go red. "Maybe latter... "

"Oh come on Pretty Girl. The nights only as fun as you make it. But it's okay... if you are scared... "

Katarine's eyes narrowed ad her face scrunched up at the man in what was unmistakably an angry pout. She took one of the stupid tubes and held it in her hand. The man grinned. "That's the spirit!"

Katarine just glared at him. She decided she didn't like him very much. He laughed at the look on her face and handed a tube to Christian. "Spunky Lady you've got here. I'll come back by if she gets a little more adventurous." He winked and tapped her shoulder leaving a glow in the dark sticker there when he pulled away. Katarine had no idea what that was about but she practically hissed at the man when he touched her. He wandered to the next table. She took a drink of her fruity drink and eyed Christian to see if he was drinking his shot.

Christian hadn't expected Katarine's interaction with the waiter to go the way it had, but as he watched the two of them go at it with angry and pouty glances from Katarine and taunts from the waiter, he took much greater pleasure in it than he originally expected he might. As he watched the pair, Christian's eyes grew a little bit wider, looking back and forth between them as his mouth slowly hung wider and wider before he simply released a laugh. "Hah ha.", a light laugh, though it was, as if to almost hide it from his young and beautiful company.

When the waiter had left and her eyes snapped back to him, though, Christian closed his mouth and glanced away for just a moment, trying to find something else in the room to entertain his eyes as he stifled a laugh that he wasn't at all expecting. It had crept up on him, and knowing that she was watching him made it worse. Then he glanced down at the tube shot he held in his hand, noting that it was blue and his face fell immediately.

"Alright... what the hell?", he asked, a smirk forming on his face as he found it somewhat comical himself. "He gave me the shot for old, incompetent men and gave you the one for energy?" He asked, waving the blue short around like some sort of stubby light saber.

"No way in hell am I drinking this.", he said, laughing as he held out the shot across the table. "Trade with me and we'll see how you fare with your hormones raging. I'll take the one that'll make me bounce off the walls all night.", he said, reaching out his free hand and planting his elbow int he table, waiting for her to set it in the palm of his hand and take the blue shot from him.

When Katarine realized what he was smirking about she started giggling. "He must have assumed I was no fun and you needed special help in that department." She was giggling even more and continued suppressing more giggles when he put his elbow on the table and offered his tube to switch. She gulped and felt her face turn red, but handed him her tube obediently. She took his and noted his smirk, which brought some form of defiance in the girl.

"It's probably an old wives tale meant to make drunk people spend money." She tipped the cylinder into her mouth and smirked at him as if it was no big deal. The liquid tasted sickly sweet and a moment latter it tickled her throat. She coughed and started drinking her fruity drink again, which because of the excitement she had already rushed through half of and would just now be feeling the quickly ingested alcohol kick in.

She waited until he had finished his and giggled at him. "Feeling energized yet?"

Christian smiled at the woman as she swallowed down the shot, coughing a bit as she did. She was brave, but she was also probably right. He was probably just trying to make the shots sound convincing to buyers. "I've never needed enhancement to perform, Katarine.", Christian admitted with a less than pleased look on his face that quickly faded into a smirk to make sure the mood remained playful. He then lifted his shot that he received from her and examined it, wondering what it really was.

Simply flavored alcohol? Would someone really go through that much trouble to sell a shot? It seemed like it was most likely vodka and fruit. Maybe Banana or Lemon, or maybe a mix of the two to match the color of the drink. He stopped thinking about that, though, knowing that it was wasted time and raised the shot, injecting it into his mouth and swallowing quickly, knowing just how bad a stiff drink could be the first time, considering his preference for whiskey. He took it down without a problem, though, coughing just lightly as he wasn't used to the taste, but immediately his opinion changed when he felt a rush of energy rush through his body, his eyes growing ever so slightly wider as he felt a tingling sensation rush up through his spine and across his scalp, his eyes felling that same tingling as if he was awake and had just been abruptly awoken by coffee or spice.

"Woah...", he exclaimed, reaching down and taking his glass of whiskey and raising it up to his bottom lip, letting the glass fall against it so that he could take a sip and wash the shot down. "...I....", Christian started to say, glancing away from Katarine the next moment and letting those golden eyes looking around the room elsewhere, not wanting to look at her when he told her his thoughts.

He gulped the mouth full of whiskey down and looked back at Katarine, though an almost regretful look on his face before he had to cover his mouth to keep his composure. He may have even emitted the lightest of chuckles as he finally looked up at her with those golden eyes. "I don't think he was messing around..."

Katarine felt herself go scarlet when he said he didn't need help performing. For some reason her mind formed a mental picture to go with that statement. She tugged at her shirt slightly. It was really hot in the club, or at least her skin seemed to feel hot. She watched as he drank his own liquid and his eyes went wide. He seemed surprised and said he didn't think the guy was lying about the tubes.

"Maybe it's just a sugar buzz?" She smirked, but couldn't help noticing how chiseled his jaw was. Her eyes left his jaw and traveled down his shoulders, stopping at his biceps which she just seemed to resize were not covered. She felt like she couldn't draw air quickly enough so instead turned her attention to her drink, which she drank so fast she got a brain freeze from the cold liquid. She winced and held her head while a group of people walked by their table, stirring up the air around them and making her nostrils burn with the scent of Christians skin.

"I think I'm going to go find the ladies room Tiger. " She smiled at him, well the best she could considering she was trying not to check him out, and got up from the table. Unfortunately the girl had now drank just about every drop of her drink in about ten minutes and her legs didn't seem to want to work. She made it halfway around the table and to her horror stumbled right into Christian. Her face was now bright red again. "I'm sorry."

Christian watched the girl carefully, the smirk growing a bit on his face as he noticed her eyes scouring his form across from her. He then grew a bit concerned as she downed the rest of her drink and tried to rush off to the ladies room, but ended up bumping into him. As she did, Christian raised up from his seat and reached out with a long, muscular arm, catching her by the waist.

Before saying anything at all he glanced around the room and had noticed that there were a few new watchful eyes, particularly on Katarine who'd just taken a drink of something that he was now realizing she shouldn't have. Said eyes belonged to young men, mostly, and even a few intrigued young woman who eyed her as if she were wounded prey. It was almost frightening to see how quickly they reacted to the scene, knowing that she had much less resolve than she had before because of one simple little shot.

"Would you like to leave?", he asked, glancing from the many watchful eyes down to that innocent, yet tortured face she had. "Or are you enjoying yourself?", he then asked, knowing that they'd come there to have fun, but truthfully never really preferring such a place to begin with.

Katarine stumbled and felt his arm snare around her waist. She giggled when he caught her, and realized the world was a lot funnier than she had ever realized. Katarine was oblivious to the eyes watching her. She wasn't smash black out drunk per say but it was becoming quit obvious that she had never drank before. She weighed next to nothing and had basically downed an entire drink in just a few moments. She didn't seem concerned with any of this however. She smiled up at Christian and realized his skin felt fabulous. The next second she was rubbing her hand over his shoulder, marveling at how smooth and firm the muscles felt under there. Her entire attention seemed to be on his arm until he spoke and her eyes snapped back to his face.

"Would you like to leave?", "Or are you enjoying yourself?"

Her eyes went wide and she shook her head. "No, no, we don't have to go just because I tripped. I'm fine." She giggled again, and clapped her hand over her mouth. Katarine didn't realize he was worried about other things. She just thought he was being polite. "I'm not going to ruin your fun. I'm really fun I promise. I'm just going to go to the bathroom. Don't leave. I promise I'm really fun." She smiled at him again, swayed a little, but managed to get both her feet moving in the right direction as she headed towards the stairs. She slipped down them easily and looked around to where a set of doors was on the end. That must be the bathroom she figured so she made her way towards it. She hadn't taken but a few steps however when the tube selling waiter was back.

"So you DID get a little more adventurous!"

Katarine just glared at him and started to walk away but he stepped in front of her. "How about a second to wash the first one down?"

"I think I've had enough." It was true, Katarine felt kinda dizzy. It was a fun feeling but she had a feeling if she kept going she might be sick. The waiter however chuckled and pointed to the second floor balcony.

"Well Red doesn't seem to have the same hang up you do." Katarine turned and seen that a drop dead gorgeous red haired woman was trying to talk to Christian. She was wearing a skirt so short you could almost see everything when she walked. It didn't look bad though. The girl definitely had the body for it. Katarine felt her stomach swirl and realized how out of place and silly she must look compared to women like that. She turned back to the waiter and glared before taking the shot he had out for her and pouring it into her mouth. It was a very weird thing for Katarine to do. She had survived a decade and a half without caving to her families peer pressure. She had an iron tight willpower, and yet something about Christian made the woman weak. it felt like it might actually be painful to watch him go home with the redhead, or to have him think she was some idiotic little girl who couldn't have fun. He lived on Zeltros. He must like to have fun. Katarine didn't understand why but nothing seemed as important as impressing him.

She took a few steps to head toward the bathroom and felt her head swim. She was horribly aware that the waiter was standing so close to her. She could smell him, her senses seemingly a thousand times higher than they usually were. She took another step and felt her head spin again. The waiter reached out and put his hand on her shoulder, right over the sticker he had placed there last time. Immediately Katarine flinched and cringed away from him, horribly aware that her body was tingling in areas. "Don't touch me." She whimpered, not thinking she could bare it again. Her brain didn't like this man. Her brain didn't like his skin or his stupid cocky face. Her brain liked Christian. It didn't mind if Christian touched her. Her body however was hot and she felt goosebumps erupt all over her shoulder where his hand had been.

"Relax Kitten. I'm trying to help you sit down. You don't look so good."

Katarine shook her head and backed away from him again. Unfortunately this made her bump into somebody else. He turned around and had some type of horns on his face, making Kat realize he wasn't all human. "Hey Gorgeous. You want a private tour?"

The waiter shook his head. "No Ror. I don't think she does."

"She's wearing a sticker man. I'm supposed to take anybody wearing the sticker upstairs."

"Yea I know... but ... i don't think she's done this before."

"Even better. Come on Honey." He pulled Kat to him and she felt her head spin even more. She shook her head and pushed away from him. It was so hot. She started twisting her shirt into a knot, exposing her bellybutton slightly.

"I came in with someone."

"He's coming too. He's waiting in our VIP lounge."

Unfortunately this sounded exactly like something Christian would be waiting in so Katarine nodded.
