The Galactic Alliance

Good Morning,

After reading up on the discord and the nomination thread I have made the decision to take the Galactic Alliance minor and will be removing it from the map accordingly.

It's been a long and successful run for the GA, but now it's time for the faction to take a well earned rest and look for new ideas or stories which interest them.

I will be holding the ownership of the faction for the time being, since there is no owner currently, I will not be RPing the faction though so if anyone wants to tell the story of the GA as a minor faction please reach out.

It's been a delight to read all the stories you all have made in the past, and I look forward to reading the next chapters for you and your characters.

GA was my first faction. It will always be something special I look back on fondly. I will miss seeing that disgustingly large blue blob on the map.

The Galactic Alliance holds a place in my heart too after Valery Noble welcomed me in following a six month LOA. The GA provided me with a new Chaos Home for a significant period of time and for that I will always be thankful. Alas, all good factions come to an end eventually, but this always opens the doors for something new, so to all members of the GA, I salute you and wish you all the best wherever your stories lead from here.

The Galactic Alliance, once a unified force fighting for freedom and peace across the galaxy, has been embroiled in a protracted war for years, struggling to resist the might of the Galactic Empire. Despite their resilience, the Alliance has faced repeated setbacks, suffering continuous defeats and faltering morale due to the Empire's relentless assaults. After enduring countless losses, the Alliance's strength begins to dwindle as its allies fracture, unable to maintain unity in the face of mounting pressure. The tipping point comes after a heroic, but costly, defense of the world of Atrisia, which depletes the Alliance's war resources. As critical alliances crumble and essential supplies run dry, the Galactic Alliance ultimately collapses, unable to recover from the devastating toll of years of warfare.

It’s sad to see it go, but it had to happen eventually.

Jun 14, 2020 was when the first GA Senate bill was put up and passed. For a good while the GA was the hub of political RP and it was honestly some of the most consistent fun I've had RPing.
