OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To provide Caden's family home, a place for roleplay related to his past and future!
  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: N/A
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The Evesa Family Home
  • Classification: Homestead
  • Location: Corellia
  • Affiliation: Caden Evesa Caden Evesa (officially a trust fund until Caden turns eighteen)
  • Accessibility: The Evesa Family Home is located a few miles from Coronet City, and while not guarded is normally locked up pretty secure to prevent unauthorized access
  • Description: From a glance, the Evesa Family Home is a small estate, fenced in to secure it. It has multiple windows, two floors and clearly looks a little on the old side
POINTS OF INTEREST

Lounge - The lounge of the homestead is large, taking up a fair chunk of the lower floor. Inside is the highest tech available in the galaxy, including a large holoprotector, gaming systems and sound systems. The lounge is clearly designed for large gatherings, capable of easily holding ten people if not more (if someone decides to drag some chairs in from the dining room, which is entirely possible considering the archway separating the two)

Dining Room - Set just off of the side of the Lounge, the dining room is again pretty large, clearly made to house numerous people. With a fine oak table in the center, and chairs clearly custom built to surround the fine table. The room itself feels warm, with underfloor and ceiling heaters installed, as well as air-conditioning for those hot days where the sun starts to get a bit much. This room could very easily be repurposed.

Kitchen - Set off of the Dining Room, the kitchen is completely modern and one of the cleanest places in the house. The kitchen is entirely voice controlled, so you can use your voice to turn on hobs, open the fridge door and do other things in the room. The kitchen in the Evesa Family Home is clearly built to have the capacity to feed large groups of people, proving that the Evesa family was known for having big gatherings.

Master Bedroom - Also known as Caden Evesa Caden Evesa 's room, which he took over after the death of his mother (and return to the house), the Master Bedroom is the biggest room on the second floor. With a custom made, comfy bed and an en-suite (plus walk in dresser) the room was redesigned by Caden to remove all traces (and in turn sad, depressing memories) of his parents. He does however keep a picture of himself, his mother and his father on the nightstand when they were all happy, before his father's mining accident.

The Second Bedroom - Also known as Caden Evesa Caden Evesa 's old bedroom and now the bedroom of Okkeus Dainlei Okkeus Dainlei , the bedroom isn't all that big but it does have it's own walk in dresser, however it has to use the communal bathroom on the second floor. It's a very simple room, but has room for Okkeus to decorate to his own tastes and his own standards. The room itself houses a basic bed, basic end tables and basic carpets.

The Attic - Formally Caden's fathers workshop, now Caden's. The Attic is full of tools, designs and other electronics that Caden's father was messing around with (in between running his mining industry and sleeping). The Attic is now Caden's and time stands to see what Caden can come up with in there, armed with tools and workbenches and plenty of room for chaos. The door remains locked at all times so that no-one can find the damage Caden does up there.

The Hanger - Situated just a short walk from the main house, the hanger is home to a few ships brought in by Caden and Okkeus upon returning to the home. It's secure enough and have room for work to occur (tool benches, lifts and numerous other tools that would make a mechanic, or a Caden, very happy). The hanger is very basic other than that, nothing special. Just a secure storage room for ships.

SECURITY
LOW

While there's no physical security (or droids), the house is surrounded by a very large fence and a very solid Durasteel gate. It would take an exceptional climber to scale the fence. Other than that, there's no real security other than the locks on the doors and windows. The house does get checked once a week by the trust fund appointee however, to make sure Caden hasn't killed himself and the house is in good condition.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

No-one can ever agree who first built this house. Was a great great great grandfather, a great grandfather or some distant relative. Either way, the house has been standing for some time, and for all of that time has been owned by a member of the Evesa family (until now anyway). The house has gone through multiple additions, the latest being the hanger which was added by Caden's father as he was always flying in and out running his mining corporation.

It was always said that the Evesa family liked hosting people, and the house is clearly showing that, with three bedrooms up top (only two are important, the third is literally a spare where we shove the droids) and seating for days, plus a kitchen set to serve a feast at a moments notice. The only thing this house is really missing is a fully stocked wine cellar, but it has it's own wine fridge so surely that counts.

Now however, the house is in the hands of a trust fund, although they allow Caden access as the house is technically his (just not legally until he's eighteen). They use the money in the trust fund to pay for the upkeep on the property, even when there is no-one home. They maintain the lawns, the hanger and the bedrooms, plus a cleaner comes through once a week just for extra peace of mind that Caden won't trash the place.
