Name: The Emita Farmlands

Classification: Farm

Location: These farmlands are located on Chandrila, around the town of Emita.

Size: 528,000 ft or 161,000 m

Population: Roughly 100 hundred people

Demographics: 97% Human, 3% Other

Points of Interest: Houses/Homes line the farm lands, where local farmers live to cultivate crops and cattle kept in and around their property. Seen at certain points are mills, where grain is turned into wheat.

Description: Chandrila has always been known for it's exports of foodstuffs. The town of Emita has been one of the three main spaceports are located, where you will find grains, wheat, vegetables, cattle and water being loaded and taken to worlds around the Core all the way through to the Outer Rim Territories. It would be a difficult to discover a world that had not tasted the food that Chandrila is famous for growing from it's plentiful fields and landscapes.

Surrounding Emita, are several acres of farmlands. These farms or farmsteads is where you will normally discover yourself to be, if you grew up in Emita and is probably why Chandrila is so obsessed with technology imported from those worlds that find themselves being fed by it. Farming can be a tedious, menial task after all.

Where most fields are used to grow and then harvest vegetables, corn, wheat or grains, you will find some to host Nerfs or Banthas. Endorian Chickens from Endor and Roba from Aralia were imported in by Chandrila Group from their respective worlds, as additions to the cattle that local farmers could raise on their farms.

History: These farmlands have served Chandrila for generations and were used as a source for the vegetables, meat and other foodstuffs found sold on local markets in the town of Emita. The foodstuffs grown and cultivated on these farms even found their way to the capital of Hanna City.

Due to Emita hosting one of Chandrila's three main spaceports, the farmlands served the wider galaxy, as it here that the vegetables, cattle and grain ended up on the plates and in the stomachs of a number of worlds, leading up to Coruscant itself. From the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim Territories, it would be difficult to find someone who hadn't ate something that had been produced directly from Chandrila, although most are unaware that their food might have come from little old Emita.

These farmlands were of particular importance during the Four Hundred Year Darkness. As infrastructure suffered due to the famine caused by the unleashed Gulag virus, Chandrila- like many worlds- sealed it's borders from other worlds. The food that was grown here was vital to Chandrila's survival and eventual recover. As most worlds lost entire generations of families, some native to Emita and Chandrila herself survived, with descendants of farmers that had first suffered the deadly effects of the Gulag plague living today to continue their families past time: farming.

One particular descendant in the form of Alicia Drey saved the Emita Farmlands from being destroyed and lost, when she founded Chandrila Group. Investment from her sale of Chandrila DataTech and Hudrel Robotics to Taeli Raaf and Selka Ventus, Alicia brought out the farmlands surrounding Emita and Nayli, another town found on Chandrila.

This followed after Akala's attack on the galaxy during the Netherworld Crisis, where trillions disappeared in an instance. Before the attack, the farmlands had been dying after centuries of negligence made by the Four Hundred Year Darkness. If not for Alicia's investment, which funded the man power and recovery of Chandrila's most famous of farmlands, then the Emita Farmlands might have been lost forever.

Could you please be more accurate with the Population and Size of the farmland? The words you used aren't descriptive enough. For size, could you please use metric? An estimate is fine for population, an exact number isn't needed.

I calculated 100 miles to be 528000 ft via the metric system. The population is to be roughly 100 people. It's not meant to be an urban, populated area of Chandrila.
