Katarine had been pondering her place in the galaxy for a while now. Once an undercover operative, the woman felt out of place being just herself for so long. She was even considering reforming the Jedi Investigators, the team she had lead back in the days before Order 66. The issue was affiliating with the Jedi. Kat still did not understand a fractured Jedi Order that had so many different branches that operated so differently. In her day the Jedi had been keepers of democracy and their allegence was to the Republic, but in this galaxy there were all different types of Jedi with all different types of allegiances. How was she to know which one to serve?

While she was trying to figure out that mess she had received a call from a familiar face, a rarity considering she did not know many people. Jax had been one of the Jedi to wake her up from cyro sleep so she figured she owed him and made the trip to Coruscant.

She was waiting in a briefing room to find out exactly why Jax had called her.

Jax stood in front of the entrance of the Jedi Temple awaiting for his longtime friend: Katarine. It had been a while since he last saw her on Jakku, she was awoken from stasis and he helped wake Katarine up and guided her while she recovered. It was amazing meeting a person who lived during the era of the Galactic Civil War. There were so many questions to ask Katarine but considering what she lost and how she was still experiencing culture shock, he bit his tongue. Right now though was a serious matter, the Shocktrooper conspiracy was still active and ever since the Chancellor allowed an open voting section, their plans have been accelerated. If BB-12 was correct, the goal was to set up an assassination attempt on the Chancellor.

There was no time to waste, the Jedi had to quell to this rebellion before they executed it. Considering the Galaxy is under attack by the Bryn, the last thing anyone needs is internal chaos. BB-12 managed to download the coordinates to a meeting from a message he intercepted through the GADF battlenet. It lead to the edges of the Mid Rim specifically the planet: Kril'Dor. A place located between the borders of the GA and the NIO, somewhat fitting considering the disagreements with some Shocktroopers in allying with the NIO a few months back. Jax saw Katarine arrive and gave her a brief hug. "Been a while Kat," He said smiling. "Thank you for arriving at such short notice."

Jax's eyes darted around searching for anyone trying to eavesdrop, he didn't sense anything via the Force though some Shocktroopers were trained to resist Force probing. "We can't talk here," he whispered. "We gotta to my Apartment, I can't believe I'm saying this but it is the safest place to talk."

Considering the chit that goes on in Jax's apartment such as BB-12's Jabba esque eating habits and a demanding Landlord, the apartment was obscure enough to lay low for a bit.

Katarine was surprised when Jax said they couldn’t talk there. Did he not trust his fellow Jedi? She agreed to relocate but was confused for more reason than one. Jedi had apartments? They weren’t told to avoid materialistic holdings? The galaxy was weird in this day and age.
