DEAD! BUT STILL A GENIUS!!!!!!!
Location: Lianna
(OOC: This thread takes place one month before the Emperor's death in the invasion of Mon Cala)
The city of Lianna was vibrant as it always was at night. Speeders flying megacansinos, restaurants, Holomovies. Imperial Stormtroopers doing their daily patrols, their watchful eyes gazing at any sign of wrongdoing, gripping their Blaster Rifles in eager anticipation for some action. A squadron of TIE fighters flew above them roaring in the distance doing an aerial sweep of the Lianna City. It was a quiet night, a typical night. Yet in the middle of Lianna City lay a golden spire looming tall even above the massive megabuildings that dominated Lianna City. The Emperor's Tower it was called shining like a beacon of hope and prosperity to a thriving city. The Empire of the Lost was at its apex with the Tion Cluster under its grip purchased by the blood of its enemies. Yet on top of the saccharine tower was a lone man watching over the city like a father watching over his family while they slumber. His hands clasped behind his back standing at a soldier's attention. Inside of the tower was large megacomputers running calculations, multiple showing cameras of people dining as well as calculations about the probability of an impending problem.
The man stared at his reflection deep bags surrounded his dark eyes and his eyebrows were in a perpetual frowning state. He did not see a strong and confident Emperor but a tired and worn-down person fueled with paranoia. "This is reality......." Velran Kilran told himself reeling back and forth almost as if he was about to lose his balance. He hadn't slept for a week or was it two weeks? Velran wasn't sure. Right now all he cared about was saving his Empire from an inevitable doom. A doom that would strike very soon but the question is who was it?
"Your majesty," a male AI voice called out. "
Karl Von Strauss
has arrived."
"Send him in," Velran said continuing to stare at the city. At this point in his life, Karl was the only people he could trust and even then, he wasn't sure of where his true loyalties lie. Or maybe it was the sleep getting to him. But one thing for sure is that his Empire and was coming to an end.
And for the first time in his life. Velran felt hopeless to stop it.
