The Dread Wolves upon the Snow

"So it beings, here, upon the cold world of Csilla. The Dread Wolves shall be unleashed and their howl shall be heard throughout the Unknown Regions."
Crimson red hues fell upon the cold world of ice and glaciers below, the Hera having dropped from hyperspace with a small contingent of transports and Amarok Cruisers, its sister vessels. Nearly snow white hair cascaded down the back of the woman as she stood silently, allowing herself to take in the appearance of the world below. With a soft nod, she kept her vision forward, her hand rising before falling.
Upon that simple symbol a furry of shuttles was unleashed from their transports. Diving towards the ground below as if they were tearing from hell itself. A small smirk crossed her lips as she knew whom was upon the first shuttle that would land.
"Show them the Dread Wolves Colonel. Unleash the sleeping Fenrir that had been chained for so long."
Rumbling, feint at first and growing until it became a deafening roar. The vessels tore through the atmosphere, as fighters began to unleash their furry. The colonel stood silently, his hand holding the bar above his head as the lambda shuttle shook from the anti-air fire being unleashed upon them. A smirk upon his own face, though unseen beneath his mask.
"We are landing in a hostile LZ. Men and Women will die! Fenrirs, you are unchained, you are dread!"
A loud roaring howl could be heard within the shuttle as it came to a heavy landing. Slamming against the ground almost as the docking ramp was dropped, its hydrolics shut off to allow it to slam into the ground. Quickly rushing down it the Dread Wolves began to pour out of their transports. Blaster Rifle fire slamming into the guards of the world.
Csilla would feel the Dread Wolves, and soon when the time was right, the world would be wholly cleansed through the burning flame that was to be brought forth by the Raulynate.

Unknown Regions.
Chiss Space, Csilla system.

Darth Ayra opened her eyes and settled them on the cold, wild wilderness of Csilla. It was amazing to think that a people like the Chiss, notrious and so famous that their name was known even in the Core, that they came from a place such as this. Here, in the Unknown Regions which still held secrets unknown to the galaxy, the Chiss were said to be the protectors of the dark. But in one fellow swoop, the Raulynate had come; and in their savage strike, they had come to take Csilla for themselves.

"The Orda gather. Their eyes fall upon the world that lay before them. This Galaxy shall burn beneath them, and in their wake we shall forge the worlds anew."

~ Deuterocanon of Annihilation Verse 4:1 ~
Ayra did not share the beliefs of the Orda, not that of the Raulynate. But she did share similar views. Although the Avidon Oligarchy that Duchess Magrath founded and it's goals did not come to frutition, the Sith Lord had known Almira Magrath's Mother for a time. All these and more led to Ayra standing on the frozen plains of Csilla, watching the Dread Wolves begin their assault. Hugging her arms around her to keep the robe on her, Ayra lifted her fingers to the robe's cowl to keep it on her head as well.

The sentiments of the Deuterocanon of Annihilation, verse 4:1 was what had rang to home with the Sith Lord. If the promise of the Sith Order was to be fulfilled, then the galaxy was required to be broken and made anew. Destruction breeds creation. Purpose found on Kursid after six months of soulsearching, the Sith Lord returned to the galaxy to make contact with old and new alliances. They were made for the Grand Plan, which had now changed in both context, scope and understanding. Business and economics were not the answer to undoing the mistakes of her predecessors, nor would they serve to destroy the Jedi Order and it's lies. Subterfuge and infiltration had only gotten her so far. Annihilation was on the mind of the Sith.

"Fire cleanses all things. As the Orda descend upon a world and her flaming blade tears across it, naught is left save ash. There he steps, that figure in black. His face somber and filled with sorrow for the lives lost, for the souls he leads. His hands reach into the ash, and pulls forth the spirits of the dead. That Ash Warrior whom leads all others to the realms beyond."
~ Deuterocanon of Annihilation 6:2 ~

"I shall know him... Though today is not the day that I shall meet him..."
Her voice seemed soft as she spoke, reciting the words that had been brought before her. Anger still dwelt within the woman, her hand keeping a firm grip on the blaster rifle at her side. Looking down at the flooring of the shuttle, she felt the vessel shimmy and shake as it avoided the incoming fire. Hearing the screams as a shuttle was torn out of the sky before she looked up. Once beautiful Hazel eyes had slowly become corrupted by the taint of the Dark Side.
Like much of her family she was born Force Sensitive, though she never truly came to rely upon it, nor learn. Her mother had told her many times, even her father, her true father had attempted to spirit her away to learn. She was lucky that her mother did not allow it and merely supported her choices in her own life. She never knew her real father, though she heard little rumors that he had been some unnamed Jedi that her mother came across in her youth. Now though with the Duchess gone she would never know, and that was oddly fine enough for her.
The jolt pulled her from her thoughts, the shuttle letting out a loud groaning as the boarding ramp quickly slammed down. Reaching to her helmet, she pulled it up from its resting place between her feet. Donning the now blackened helm and its visage of a howling wolf, she pushed herself up. Pulling the blaster rifle to her side before she looked to those in the shuttle.
"We cleanse this world with fire. We are unchained. Those that lay upon the ground this night shall meet the Ash Warrior."
Marching from the middle of the shuttle down the boarding ramp, the moment her boot pressed into the snow she charged forward. Her unit following closely behind as they rushed forward into the fray. Helene seemed to growl beneath her helmet as she pulled her blaster up, squeezing the trigger as it unleashed an assault of blots to tear through the air; throwing her enemy back into a snow bank.

Jaster Awaud, he was no longer the soldier of days past. He was a scientist now, a transporter of those who would die. He had spend his life in the goals of other for too long. He offered his honor in service to the duchess, and now to the duchesses daughter. These offerings were not of ways for him to die, but to create for the Khans.

He stood on the ships above watching as the Wolves and the Orda dive to their beliefs. He then looked over to his scientist friend, "The planet seems suitable for our research," he walked down the hallways stepping aside for the vanguard to pass as he and his Orda waited for the final wave for assault and clean up.

Jaster was a Mandalorian, reaching the point past his prime as a fighter. He had not reached the point were he could die on the battlefield, but he was getting close. Jaster walked to the command bridge, he watched as people walked from the combat center to the electronics warfare center. The mess of the planetary guns were carpeting the space all around the ship, it was interesting enough that such trained Civil Defense Forces were unable to hit them.

Jaster continued to watch over the bridge and be reminded of when he was once a commander of a fleet.

"Focus on the shipyards. Leave the guns for our escort vessels. The Hera shall take point."
A loud rumbling began to emanate from the vessel before it shuddered for a moment. Shaking as a burst of enemy fire struck against its shields. The woman stood silent after barking her orders, those red hues piercing through the veil of the darkness of space and laying upon the shipyards that orbited the world. Her ground forces had their own reasons for being there and the small fleet of vessels above had their own. A small smirk crossed her lips as she looked upon the ships resting in their docks, newly constructed; fresh with not a single scar upon them. These would be the new additions to the fleet that the Raulynate would conquer the Unknown Regions with.
With arms clasped behind her back, her long tail coats of the split gown she wore brushed slightly against the heavy boots she was fond of wearing. Keeping her eyes focused upon the vessels before her, that small smirk remained upon her lips. The Chiss Ascendancy had once built these vessels, before they had fallen into the hands of the Atrisian Empire. Now though they would fall into the hands of another.
"I want those Nuruodo class Star Destroyers unharmed. Focus on taking their sections first. The Cheunh class Corvettes and Chimera class Carriers are secondary objectives."
Motioning with her hand, she turned towards the gunner station to her right. Keeping her attention for a moment upon the target before looking over her shoulder. Nodding softly before bringing her hand down.
"There. Focus fire on the lead vessel in that defense fleet formation. I want to tear a hole and push straight through the center. Our fighters can cover the smaller ships."
The bridge was alive with the activity of the stations, whilst the Hera pushed forward. The Amarok class Cruiser was followed by a small handful of older CR-90 corvettes and even fewer hyperspace capable fighter craft. The Hera was itself flanked by two more Amarok class Cruisers, only a few of those taken during the departure from Avidon. It was clear though that Almira's ambition was beyond that which one might have previously thought.

It was time, Jaster had brough along his own Mariens for this invasion. He would command boarding ships to penetrate the lines of the defenders and take control of their own ships. He had a first wave of 200 Mandalorian Mariens and behind them were members of his Orda, then finally the Command Crew to take command of the bridge. The mission would be difficult and even flying through the hail storm of cannon fire would be difficult for any pilot, but that is why Jasters first line were his marines. Trained for space combat in vacuum sealed armor, they could survive for an hour in empty space. To a Mandalorian, that was more then enough time to get the job done.

"Bridge Command, this is Overloard 1-1," Jaster radioed the bridge for proper orders, "Boarding team is a go and on stand-by for proper orders for Ex-Fill."

He was getting to old for this soldiering stuff, but for the ideals he was to follow and his honor on the line, better then nothing.
