The Harbinger came out of hyperspace in a system of uncharted worlds, one had many rings, the other was habitable, a prime candidate for the threshing. The Venator Class Destroyer descended into atmopshere, surging on the clouds it held and made scans of the surface. Below was beehive shaped cities with glowing lights inside the holes, figures in shape of insecti moved about. Many of them flew about, some rising into air with theur foyr wings to see this strange metal behemoth in the sky. They were premitived, homding spears and projective weapons that connected to their throats that vented some kind of acid. They did not assail the barrier, the shield that hummed.
Locking on to these pitiful bugs, the turbolasers fired and turned them into splotches of green rain that fell down to the surface, bathing their neigjbors in their guts before.. the canons began to drop great boltd on the city, the blue fire fell as drops on the beehives which went ablaze. The Insectiods in vain fires streams from their battlements, only for the blue rain to blow them away in balls of yellow and clouds of smoke.
Carvans of the Creepy Crawling Beingd made their away from the destruction, theu headed for the swamps to seek refuge, when a shadow of a shuttle flew over them and made its way to the knee high green waters. It sat down, and a ramp slammed into the stagnate water as a figure descended in armor, his eyes glowed white and fixed on the waves of Ants coming to the slaughter.
Theristis stood in water, hunching over, as the defenders spproached with their throat acid and spears, he snapped his saber to life, the long blade rose in distorted white, with two smaller ones coming from vents above his thumb and index finger as he gripped the handle.
One of Bugs thrusted a spear with a stinger on it, Doom cut it in two and then slashed at the throat, making its oval jade head with six lavander purple eyes. Two others fired their acid, which soared in streams over him on a tree that smoldered. Reaching out with his hand he levitated one ans brough it to his blade, it cutting through the chest as he then tossed it off like a discarded cape. The other Streamer fired a continuous stream that Theristis had to evade, it burnrr s tree nad made it cap side, the rootd rising out of the waters, the Bug looked for hum and suddenly he lespt from above and split the Insectiod from head to knave, making it part in the middle.
The Carvan of Survivors was behind this vanguard. Approaching from the side, Doom brandished his crackling crossguard blade and met two Spear totting warriors, he split them both with one cut in a horizontal cut, when he noticed all of them were male. Seeing on a hill a large yellow slug like creature, and dozens of the Insectiods trying to help it up the slope, Theristis made his way there, seeeping his blade to carve head and clip wings. Some with some enguiniety, hovered and tried to drop acid on him. Using the trees Doom, heard the wood crack and buckle, it falling. He admired how they fought exstinction, with every breath they believed in vain they could cheat death. Tiring of their bile flame, he ran as the streams crissed and crossed, and looper around him, causing the water to stream till he was on the hill, Stinger Spearmen thrusted their weapons that he met with white hot kyber. He stated in throng of their thoraxes, theu gave him a shield from the aerial bombardment.
Theristis drove the tip of his weapons in one Insectiod, and then twisted, using the vent blade to stab a head as he pulled another to him with the Force. It began to appear he was sinking beneath exoskeletal skin, and his white eyes disappeared. The hovering bugs waited, and waited, when suddenly spears flew into sir snd stuck them like many arrows and they fell to the ground. The Golden Slug was being pushed by these Bugs, who now had dwindled to twenty, one cried out as it head was cut clean off as Theristis moved towards their Queen. Each held spears, some had winged blades that when they flew would rapidy move like saws. They all charged their Doom…
Aboard the Harbinger, the door to bridge opened to a Theristis who was painted in green blood on his plate, his mask had drops staining it. Pressing some keys on the arm chair as he sat, the turbo canons dropped more turquoise on balls of flame on the trees of the swamp and the hill. The planet was in flames, the primitive civilization wiped out.
Doom sat content as his black cape drapped hus death throne. His eyes squinting as he saw a haze, like smoke coming towards the craft. It was a swarm of them, a last stand. Hitting the thrusters Theristis watched as the view screen met The swarm, causing the screen to fill with peridot blood, the Venator Class destroyer mowed down the swarm, many that were not squashed, bounced off and fell hitting the waters below. The Doom had enjoyed the slaughter, his soul filled by all this death.
Then it happened, an alarm went off indicating a breach. That one of those bugs had gotten on board. Pressing s key, he opened doors, and welcomed it in, there enthroned he waited, he heard the hum of those wings, and then the patter of insect feet. Hanging above him the Insectiod dropped with its sickle like blade which he caught with her gauntlet hand.
“Impressive..”
He then see the crescent blade like a handle and threw the Avenger to the floor.
“You have spirit.. though it is in vain. There is no escape from death.. you can prolong the journey.. try at immortality, but inevitably the grave calls you.”
He levitated The Insectiod to his gauntlet hand which he placed around its neck. As he pulled the lavander eyes creature to his face he heard a buzz, like static and then clicks which began to make tones that spelled words in his mind.
“You.. took.. all.. I.. must.. fight.”
Theristis bled through as Doom was overruled, him loosening his grip.
“Your intelligent..”
The Insectiod made clicks,
“My…family…gone…fault..yours…die.”
The Insect took up his sickle blade and leapt with his wing blades, which was magnificent display of mayhem, as the movement of them was like a gear with teeth. Theristis held him at bay with The Force, and then threw it into axpanel, knocking the Bug cold.
Doom interjected,
“Finish it..”
Theristis took up his crossguard hilt and prepared to ignite it when he threw it to his chair.
“No… he must live.”
