GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: The Disciples of Typhojem.
  • Affiliation:
  • Classification: Force Users, Dark Side Cultists/Extremists.
  • Description:
Typhojem was a Sith Deity formerly worshiped by the Kissai, and today is currently considered to be the religious focus of The Sith Empire's slave caste and average citizenship within Sith Space, known as the Religion of Thearchy. The Disciples of Typhojem are an extremist off-shoot from The Sith Empire, Zealots who seek to spread the teachings of Typhojem to other worlds and cultures targeting the Silver Jedi Concord and claiming them to be blasphemers, those who stand in the way of their idol's legacy and worship.
As an Extremist Organization having turned away from Sith Space due to their treating the religion as a tool for control as opposed to truly walking in the glorious shadow of Typhojem's teachings, the Disciples of the faith have taken to the rest of the Galaxy seeking to first punish those who stand in the path of progress for their faith. Armed with Lightsabers and trained in the Dark Side of the Force, these cultist zealots will attack without pause nor mercy until they have slain the infidel.
COMBAT INFORMATION
The Disciples of Typhojem are less equipped and far more disorganized than other Force Orders and Organizations such as The Sith Empire and The Silver Jedi Concord. Because of this, their combat tactics are much more akin to the guerilla warfare form of offense where they seek to strike at strategic locations or targets and leave as quickly as they appeared.
Due to their fanaticism and their efforts in spreading the doctrine of Thearchy, the Disciples have gained quite a following and won't hesitate to put innocent lives in front of dangerous situations in order to benefit from their loss, or to hinder the Jedi in apprehending them.
As Force Users, the Disciples of Typhojem will respond to the presence of Jedi or other Force Users with absolute hostility should they deem them an enemy of their religious faith. Those of the Lightside of the Force are among the highest priority targets and as such, the Silver Jedi Concord is among several Orders that these radicals seek to destabilize in their bid to ensue chaos across Silver Space.
Strengths:
  • Trained Dark Side Practitioners (Sith Knight level): These cultists are considered to be highly trained and akin to the rank of a Jedi or Sith Knight, (However as they are NPC's this does not mean they are at the level of a Played Character).
  • Skilled Swordsmen: Especially skilled in the Lightsaber Arts, taught the various forms by the Sith Empire before their exile.
  • Fearless Zealots: True to their faith, these religious fanatics will stop at nothing to see their Deity's legend spread across the Galaxy, and their opposition defeated.
Weaknesses:
  • Hindered by Force Nullification Technology: Such things as the Ysalamiri can negate or temporarily remove these Force Users of the powers the same as any other Jedi or Sith Force Users.
  • Disorganized & Desperate: This is a Cult following with no particular leadership but a collective of believers who will do whatever it takes to see their religion grow. Their numbers however are far smaller than the Sith Empire they were exiled from, and their tactics are varied and disorganized.
  • Self Destructive: With little self-regard to their own lives for the sake of their agenda/objective, these fanatics are willing to risk their own well-being in order to die martyrs to their cause.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Disciples of Typhojem came into being through The Sith Empire's introduction of the Thearchy Religion amongst their slave and middle caste society as a means of instilling control and order through indoctrination, faith and credits; However took exception to the Empire's manipulation of these power dynamics, believing the act to be a slight against the Deity Typhojem himself and speaking out against the Empire which would inevitably the leaders of the cult following executed while their people would be exiled beyond the Empire's borders.

Despite the loss of their leadership, the followers of the Cult instead saw the execution as the birth of martyrdom and in the name of their faith, have taken to turning their attention upon the nearby Silver Jedi Concord in which they are now seeking to destabilize and do as much damage as possible in order to spread the gospel of Typhojem, that the Galaxy might hear of their idol's legend and influence.

Among their more notable followers is Darth Veneer, a former Jedi turned Sith and now a figurehead of the Cult who's motives are independent from the rest. The Sith Lord is however learned in the Jedi lifestyle and has taken to coaching the cult following in how best to utilize their numbers in order to make their ancient rivals aware of the group, that the Jedi might realize the error of their ways before they are destroyed in the most destructive and public example to the rest of the Galaxy.
