The Devil Cometh

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
She sat silently as she waited for one Silus Aran to answer her summons. It had been the week after the Invasion of Alderaan and she had returned to her home in the middle of no where to meditate on what she had done during the battle. But soon those thoughts were banished as she looked out and focused on the ground below her, taking weight on how long it would take for her guest to arrive and for her to have some fun in training once more a new face whom she found a curiosity in. Her eyes, silver as always, were cast down and focused on the ground while her pure white hair was pulled up and tied out of her face while her pure white robes were worn once more in the absence of the purple training gear.

The door slid open and a black silhouette was revealed from obscurity. Within the encroaching darkness enveloping his features, a pair of amber eyes protruded, tainted with the dark side that was all that Silus had ever known from the very first time he was introduced to the complexities of the force. The absence of light was evident, and as his extremities lifted and two thick crimson hands took a hold of the hood--tossing it back to hang upon his neck--a devious scowl was revealed. He took his stride through the compound, ignoring the greeting of those who were confronting him although there was no obscurity to who he was. Having said that, they assimilated to his desires and simply directed him to the master force-user that he was interested in seeing.
"Greetings, Master [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] --" Silus voice was sinister, perhaps serpentine, it's pitch rather high for his appearance and demeanor. Alongside the verbal greeting, his upper-torso would dip forward as he performed a bow before he rocked his shoulders and removed the cloak which he adorned. Underneath was a simple vest and black long-sleeved shirt with matching pantings and boots. There was a vibroblade on one side and a saber on the other. He didn't hesitate to remove the blade and set it down to the side as he assumed that it would be irrelevant at the moment.

"Shush shush shush, im listening to the air..." She sat in the room that held a number of plants in it and she was quiet and soft in a way that would give her a moment to keep her body in peace. Unlike the man before her she was the near opposite, her aura a level of light that was normally not right, it wasn't that it was the level of lightsided influence on her, but rather the fact that it seemed half of her wasn't even there, like only half of her very being sat infront of him.

The devaronian's piercing hues narrowed as they were fixated upon [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] . Silus had always been under bondage, but the signature within the force which this individual projected was one that the darksider was not quite familiar with. Having said that, he was slightly skeptical though he complied and ceased dialogue for the time being. Both extremities were brought to his thick chest, where they interlocked and suspended. He gave off the air of impatience, both his stance and aura hinting this. As for the presence ordeal, he was perhaps not as attuned to the force at the point that he would be able to perceive this.

"Isnt it beautiful the sounds and musics of life and the air around us, how the force ties them and creates a symphony only we can see?" She looked at him with open eyes now, silver without a hint of darkside corruption, she would not show such even if she tried because those emotions that caused the corruption were not in her for the time being. With an all too slow movement she stood and walked towards the man and studied him as if she were studying a tiny speck, a cell that she had gotten from a extremely rare creature. "Which is more beautiful to you, life or death?"

[member="Silus The Psycho"]

While Silus did not share in [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] sentiment, and perhaps didn't really hone in on the same facets of existence as she did. That being said, he simply provided a hardened yet curious expression in response to the initial question. As the second inquiry was posed, he found himself alot more interested in the concept of the subject--as he definitely leaned towards the beauty of death.
As she inspected him, if she had any ability to delve within the mind of Sius Aran, she could perhaps sense what he was thinking. In his mind, he couldn't help but dwell upon the visage of his old master. By now he was gone, but when Silus departed from the tutelage, the master was left inanimate with. his stomach cut open and his entrails spread out--evidence of cannibalism having taken place. It was true that Silus prized death above all else and took special interest in the death of those close to him. His parents shot at a young age, his brethren who he had fought within the ring...His more isolated years when he was contained in a cell only to be thrown scraps of different slaves that fell in the ring.
"The concept of death has always been more appealing to me than life, though it's a one-sided relationship that I have developed with it," he said, hinting that he had killed many yet he was still standing here himself.
Truth be told, he was a servant of death and life though most importantly to the dark side.
[Sorry over-looked your post and didn't realize you had already responded.]

"The answer is neither my friend. It is not life or death that has an overwhelming beauty in comparison to the other... These flowers are yet a true expample of the process of life, death, and reincarnation as they show us the ability to have a future after death we do not have. This is my point in which i am delivering this lesson, it is the cycle of death and life that holds an all too powerful hold on us and even the greatest of leaders must follow the flow of time and the cycle of life and dead.... your name?" Her silver eyes found his face once more as she waited for him to give it.

It took everything within Silus Aran to not begin cackling at her reply, the essencof the laughter would be have been indicative of his arrogance. Instead, his expressioron remained hardened and his eyes continually narrowing upon her with each passing moment. Truth be told, he wasn't a fan of this [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] but so long as she served a purpose to his existence he would abide by her idiocy. Nevertheless, a man that had lived by his own deviant code could not help but reply in such a manner as he did.
"You asked what was more beautiful to me...I don't imagine there is a singular answer to a subjective question." He replied as his tongue flicked against one of his upper-canines before he spoke again "Nevertheless, I am Silus Aran." After saying this, he would remain quiet until spoken to again.

"Point in case my friend, now how might i help you with your own path much like life and death control it?" She put her hands in her lap and looked to the side for a moment, as if silently communing with something that was not there and even looking a bit... humored by what the empty spot had said to her, a small grin having formed on her mouth.

.Distorted crimson, cracked lips tainted with the darkside cocked upwards and to the right at her question. He had doubt that she could help him grow stronger with the dark side, but in the force in a general sense--she probably could. "I am unsure if you are what I am looking for though I have brought someone that you may be interested in seeing again." As he spoke, his hand slippd into a pocket of his vest where he retrieved a com-link. "Come on in." He spoke, his voice riddled with humor as he realized the comical underlining.

The door slowly opened, Maleus's silhouette glided across the floor. His hood was pulled over his face, nothing could be seen save his luminous eyes which moved malevolently through the room. Although obscured, it would be clear who stood in their presence. "It seems time has done little to change you...."

His full form now facing the duo.
"Alexandra."

A brief calm followed the Zabrak, only to be abolished with a new set of actions.

His palm fluttered open, the hilt of his saber resting on his waist was slaved into his grasp. Red flame escaped from the emitter shroud casting the shadows a vibrant red.
"Behold the power of the dark-side."

"Aww, you brought me a present, how nice of you mister Silus, now perhaps you would like to lower the saber Maleus before i make certain you can't raise it again." She was dead serious and rose to her feet as she looked between the Zabrak and then to Silus, only laughing more now. "Wait, is this suppose to be an ambush, am i suppose to be worried that a former student, a failed student, and a newly taught... weakling, are going to be any threat at all to me, you have got to be karking kidding me..."

Silus Aran chortled, a mixture of amusement and excitement swelling within his gullet as he spewed it out in a creepily gleeful laughter. Silus looked to [member="Maleus"], who was indeed causing a scene and then back to the "Master" [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]. "I have no intention in fighting you if not for learning, Master. And as for him, perhaps he has some unfinished business with you. This is my present to you," he said lastly, folding his arms to his chest to further indicate he was not here to fight. If the woman proceeded with anything other than words, then the devaronian would fight back. "Though, by no means, am I a weakling." He corrected her, as he felt he should. Needless to say, he wasn't intending to prove her otherwise at this very moment.

"Failed?" Maleus mused. He shook his head dismissively. "You should know better than to think I would plot to have you ambushed." His anger returned, he drew the saber up to this face with both of his hands wrapped around the hilt.

The beam of light illuminated one side of his face while the other was kept in darkness. "And if you think you disarm me of my saber... By all means..." He rushed forward drawing his blade through the air.

The sizzling plasma moved to strike Alexandra on her shoulder, but that's what it was, just a move. An attempt.

Alexandra only sighed as a blade slid down her arm and into her hand, igniting it as she brought it in the path of his own blade, the silver blade colliding with his as she held back his own strike, the force creating the extra power behind her own arm. "Very, bad, idea." She raised her other hand and let the force erupt from it in a point blank wave of force energy aimed at [member="Maleus"]' gut and mostly meant to send him flying right through the same door he came in through. "You really are a failure..." Granted this worked, she would follow him through the door and only look at Silus once. "Don't try anything, i know several sith who need toads for their experiments."

[member="Silus The Psycho"]

Simply scoffed though nothing more was uttered. If the fight transitioned to an adjacent room, Silus would venture behind them though without hurry. After all, he wasn't here to fight or kill anyone and he hoped that [member="Maleus"] did not spell his fate by pushing for combat. Needless to say, he held more loyalty to one than the other.

His attack was not only parried, it was broken. The blast knocking him clear of the door where his back clashed into the adjacent halls. Blossoms of pain lingered over the point of impact, he struggled to his feet. His vision blurred.

The attack was unexpected. So it seems she not only grew in tenacity, but also power.
"If you hadn't interfered... I would have I had I sought.... During the war....You've ruined everything..."
"RAGHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He kicked off the balls of his feet intent on rushing towards Alexandra's current position. The reins of control were snapped, his mind simply acting impulsively.
His metallic hand shot out, with it came a tremendous back-lash of kinetic energy. All of it aimed at Alexndra's person.
"Then just think of how badly you'll look when this failure defeats you in combat."

Alexandra cast out her second saber into her offhand and crossed the blades before grounding herself and splitting the brunt of the energy like a knife in butter. She may have grown in power but it wasn't that that was leaving her centered to the degree she was to pull off these feats. It was the mere fact she didn't have a second voice in her head anymore, she was clear in her thought and that made her deadlier than when she was a Sith before. "Shut up Maleus..." Her hands dropped her sabers for half a second before sending her own blast of force energy back at him, planning to knock him off his feet and hopefully through a far window. She was not going to do this inside.

"RAGH!" His body was yet again thrown out of the building, this time scaling down the structures foundation. His blade hand carved into the wall which slowed his descent and saved him from a most ungraceful landing. As soon as his feet touched the ground he could feel the toll this battle had taken. He was momentarily phased, confused even.

This disoriented state was quick to fade seconds later. Mainly because he had seen battle on various occasions and it was becoming easier to discern his surroundings and the intent of others. Much like he could tell was going on here.

"poodoo.." He pried a section of the building off, the hardened boulder twisting itself to his bidding, he struggled briefly to keep it aloft with both hands now, though his saber still rested in his grip.

<Something is different... I've got to get out...">
Then forcing the beam into the building causing portions of the pillar to tear into the nearby wall. Plums of dust settled over the air, Maleus grabbed his torso having seen his effort rewarded by the potential opening of respite he had been given.

It wouldn't be enough. He struggled sheepishly through the open air, his own body unable to heed his commands properly. <That force blast must have done some internal damage..>
He was trying to make his escape, hopefully he could.

"Where do you think you are going..." She walked out and seemed unphased as a shard of wood had embedded itself in her shoulder. Only then did she look at the wood and frown, reaching up and tearing it from her body with a pained scream before dropping it. Her eyes then returned to [member="Maleus"] as she walked towards him, even moving to grab her saber once more which would now be on her belt and parrying any blows she could before trying to reach out and grab the Zabrak by the throat, though her hand with the blade would watch his own hands, careful to not let herself be impaled. "... Why."
