Private The Day of the Eharl

The word Eharl in old Corellian means Trickster and that's what they were going to do be tricksters. They would extend their influence and begin infiltrating where they could, if they could.

Kalee home of the Kaleesh had had learned a bit about it in school it merited remarks about a General and a deadly predator that reminded him of womens wear, something called a mumuu. His 'visit' was to be unnoticed his contact from Coruscant told him he would be met. He left the ship setting in the farthest reaches of the space port and paid for a bit of privacy.

How much privacy he would get remained to be seen out here in wild space it was a bit lawless and looking at someone the wrong way could earn you a permanent scar, or a sad tale told to his mother. He hoped to avoid both.

He made his way to the cantina he still had time to back out go home, but he he couldn't do it. If there was to be any good found in this galaxy he had to be part of restoring the good. If his parents ever found out it, it might be bad. He said a silent prayer to whatever creature watched over him and entered into the One Eyed Krayt back to the seat he was told to park it in until his contact arrived.

How would he know that person. Through some simple conversation and an old corellian or Olys Corellisi. It was a safe bet not many knew the language. The saying that would exchange, his contact would say Gylif fho ihn gylif (a life for a life) and he would respond with Yke hyon fhars oblivyn cnous oblivyn (He who fears nothing knows nothing). It was a bit harsh on the tongue but he had practiced it enough that he could pull it off.

He ordered an ale and watched the door, unless they were already here.

Getting a job at the cantina ok Kalee had been surprisingly simple to do. The Kaleesh themselves were not that interested in doing jobs like patron or waiter, but more than interested in the drinking and food that came with the two. A disagreement with a Kaleesh patron over payment had ended with the death of the previous waiter. Myrium had been able to secure the job for himself with a few carefully placed words and had even been able to get Jace deWinter a job as a guard.

The need for these jobs had come when Theo Vereen Theo Vereen contacted the Agents of Chaos for aid in his endeavors. As the head of the Blackguard, the primary intelligence agency for the Agents, Myrium had taken the task upon himself to investigate. Theo had chosen the location, and Myrium had raced with his compatriot across the galaxy to get there before the man. Once the meeting was over, they would be able to depart back to the safer regions of the galaxy. Until then, a job had to be done. Moving through the tables, Myrium deposited the last round of drinks that had been ordered, glancing across the room to give Jace a subtle nod, getting him to come over to the area. He would want the man's input and thoughts on the matter at hand.

The table Myrium had designated for Theo to use was isolated from the rest of the cantina by a lazy placement of walls, creating a secluded alcove. Most of the other patrons sat closer to the bar where they could get food and drinks quicker. Entering the alcove, Myrium placed the tray in his hands down on the table, letting out a muted sigh as he lowered himself into the seat across from Jace. After several seconds of silence, Myrium laughed to himself, remembering what the man had wanted him to say.

"You are likely to draw more attention to yourself with strange phrases than a simple conversation friend. You have drawn the attention of my friends, and for most that would be a worrying prospect. But, take faith, you are safe. For now anyway." His words came out quietly as he leaned back in the booth, folding one leg over the other and laying his arms across the back of the booth.

When Myrium Okar Myrium Okar had asked Jace to come to Kalee with him on an undercover operation, he was very quick to agree to it, the black ops and the wetwork was something he had not realized he had missed so much, so he took any chance at it possible when asked. While the job as a guard wasn't what you'd call glamorous, he thrived in it, watching, waiting, being able to throw pests out and away? Actually made the job a little bit fun.

After a period of relative quiet, Myrium gave him the nod he needed, patting one of the other guards on the back, Jace managed to convince the bruised to take over as he discreetly made his way to the alcove. Leaning up against the makeshift doorway, he was able to keep an eye on any prying faces, while also being able to keep up on the conversation. A smirk crossed his lips at what Myrium had said to the contact, and he had to agree, "Corellian in faraway worlds makes you a dead ringer for a target on your back, friend." Jace added quietly, taking a quick glance in at Theo Vereen Theo Vereen

He didn't know whether to breath a sigh of relief that he wouldn't have to twist his tongue about or if this was some sort of ploy to get him to reveal himself. Spies in this part of the galaxy could easily disappear into the black, no matter what their name.

His mother had made the suggestion for the old corellian since so few spoke it. Theo rested his hand on the table needed to make sure he also didn't end up like Greedo. He smiled.

"Safe huh. How do I know who you are or where your.." he gave it a slight pause, "interests are." then they were joined by another The hair on Theo's neck stood up. He wasn't expecting two and now he was outnumbered.

His fight or flight instincts were tickling as this was not what he had been expecting. He looked and now he wanted to make sure he could defend himself. Two against one, feth.

The first one seemed either quite sure of himself, or overly relaxed. Theo's eyes scanned the room quickly they were away from the door, which was not bad but it also offered opportunity to take someone out the door without anyone noticing.

The second seemed more on guard.

He needed to get this sorted out.
