The Day I Died

As he fired off the anti-personnel Menace smirked and launched into the air and away from the weaponry he just unleashed, coming back down she landed far enough away and tore her cloak off, her armored outfit apparent and her sabers equipped to her body, holding up her only organic hand she summoned the force quickly and unleashed a torrent of knight level lightening at him and then used her force pull to try and pull EE-3 from his hand in an attempt to slowly disarm the merc.

(OOC: Mind if we consider this to be a past rp? I started it out as a force user and now, due to this time, I am an NFU due to a mind wipe and such so dont wanna have to edit all my posts for non-existant force powers)

Betna pushed his way off the pile of broken furniture and shook the dust, glass, and wooden splinters off. He calmly hit the lever of the .44 with his thumb, flicked his wrist to pop out the canister on the weapon, and dumped the spent casings on the floor. He then pulled a speed loader from her gear and rapidly reloaded the pistol before flicking his wrist to snap the cylinder into the pistol. Once done, he retrieved his shotgun and reloaded it as he walked to the door. He heard the resounded boom from outside as something large and heavy hit the pavement in front of the bar and ignored the glass as it blew inwards. If his partner needed help, he'd call. Until then, he'd continue to hunt his prey.

The Mandalorian exited the bar as he racked a new round of coin shot into the shotgun. He then cycled through his HUD's vision settings until stopping on the thermal setting. Small pools of blood lead to the street beyond which told Arrbi that his quarry was trying to escape and blend in with the crowd. Betna nodded once and knew what to do. Coruscant was a bustling planet city with multiple levels and various access points. He just had to find the high ground.\

Betna found and quickly climbed a ladder nearby to the rooftop above. From here, and through the adjoining rooftops, he would be able to look out for and target his bounty. He kept his awareness levels up and his weapon close to hand. He knew the 'saber jockey would have tricks and guises up his sleeve, the question was only which ones would he try.

I probably really should have put this up with the first post, but for some reason I couldn't figure out how to do spoilers and didn't wanna dump an epic length post that was 50% equipment list >.>

The old mandalorian was about to turn on his thrusters in attempt to dodge the lightening storm heading his way but then his EE-3 carbine took a life of its own and ripped from his hand extending the quick draw sling it was attached too to its fullest and dragging the mandalorian in tow head first towards the Sith knight. Garon seemed to dive straight into the electrical storm, placing the warrior through spasmatic pain as his body was electrocuted.

The only thing the mando warrior could do was fire off his Jet pack rocket towards the sith that was frying him up and pulling him through the force towards her VIA attached to the rifle and sling. He needed to break her concentration, or obliterate her, before she succeeded in killing him with the lightening.

OOC: I have no issues, since this thread was posted up before you decided to get mind wiped.

With the rocket heading at her all she could was brace for impact, there was a chance it would do very little damage but it would also need to be dealt with and as it came at her she focused and used TK to pull the rocket toward the ground, it would take a lot of effort but it would be done.. as her focus intensified so did her abilities and with that she tried hard to get the rocket dealt with. Moment after moment her focus only grew and her energy was being expended but she was doing it slowly, from there she would be able to alter the course of the rocket and try and avoid much damage but she needed the concentration which right now she did not have, so at the last moment she braced and slid backwards trying to avoid a lot of damage.. and as it was her body temperature was dropping as her eyes glowed an icy hue due to her cryogen being defensively applied. at the moment of impact she was blown toward the building and struck hard. Picking herself up slowly she smirked weakly and forced herself to get to her feet and brushed herself off and then sneered at him before speaking in a hiss.

All these years and your kind still picks on force users with immeasurable skill she half cocked joked as she stood there staring him down Your move, Pawn she remarked as she stood there.

Success, the lightening had stop and her force grip upon Strider has subsided. Garon was free, and free to continue the attack. Using the momentum of being dragged in the first place through the force, Strider decided to use that to his advantage and turn on the afterburners on his Jetpack aiming *himself* as a human rocket- targeted at Isis to engage in hand to hand combat.

If able to grapple Isis, Strider would slam her to the ground and use hard knee strikes with his right knee aimed at her groin while at the same time firing off a micro dart from his left knee pad (Aimed more then likely at her right leg or thigh) filled with poison that would render the target unconscious.

Mandalorians were a culture of honour, didn’t mean they fought that way.

Isis was weakened and exhausted from expending so much energy so she hadn't had much fight left in her anyway but she also wasn't about to give up, as he came rocketing toward her she smirked and jumped back as he went to grapple with her, she might have been tired but she isn't stupid.

Seizing the moment to breathe she did so quick and felt the force trying to flood her body with energy yet it wasn't able to, she was far too drained form the exertion of her TK and so wasn't able to connect directly to it, so she had to do this the mortal way.

As she stepped in she sent a kick to his leg followed by a hook aimed for his jaw, she was ready for combat.. but is he?

The fraking sith side stepped Strider’s grapple, forcing the mandalorian to skip off the ground and tumble in a combat roll and bouncing back to his feet and squaring off against the incoming attacker. She was ready to fight…. He was born to it, day in day out conditioning for war since the day he could walk.

The sith did not give him much time as she thrusted herself at him, lashing out with a vicious side kick aimed for his own leg. Strider would counter the attack by raising his left knee to ‘hard’ check the incoming kick. The uppermost part of Strider’s shin guard will make contact with Isis’s thinner, lower shin which *should* result in her experiencing far greater amount of pain with chances of injury from the hard contact of beskar on shin, larger bone on thinner with hopes of deterring her from striking out with legs again.

Her aggressive flurry was not over yet as a ferocious left hook snatched out to tear Strider’s head off. Strider being a well conditioned fighter knew how lethal such a punch could be, even with a helmet on and with his battle tuned reflexes his right elbow, forearm and hand were already up and tight to his upper body and head absorbing the attack on the back of his gauntlet in a classic block. Strider then instinctively would rotate slightly to the left as Isis’s punch landed and would counter attack with a quick but powerful jab from his left armoured hand aimed at the Sith’s nose and three inches behind it.

Isis leg was struck and torn but not out, as she was blocked she reached out and used both her hands to block and absorb his own punch, this would be a good fight although now her leg and wrist hurt but she was not done yet and as she blocked his punch she stepped to the side and focused her own mind and swung on him with quick lethal jabs to his body... she was determined to beat dents into his armor or tear her own body apart from it and as it was she was without the aid and the force and quickly tiring out.

The blows kept coming, the sith was still determined to keep the fight toe to toe as if she had something to prove to this Mandalorian. The flurry of combination jabs to Strider’s body could be felt even through the beskar, the ones that did get past his pivot and elbow blocks. The old man could feel the impacts on his kidneys and lower ribs taking the wind from his sails. A stand up straight blow for blow fight gets tiring fast compounded with previous injuries, electrocutions and hard landings, the old man might have to finish this fight before he gasses out.

The seasoned warrior has been down this path before, has fought this fight, felt this hurt. Best defence was a aggressive offence and while Isis was battering away at the older man, Strider was using his onboard targeting system for his two kneepad dart launchers. It was time to end this fight and he precisely had the computer aim for open areas of her armour that could be hit from this close of quarters.

Pew pew

The sounds of the two darts were nothing of note when fired in unison to Strider’s counter attack. Garon lashed out just as his darts were fired, coming out with his own combination of left, left jab followed by a vicious right cross all aimed for her face, to keep her occupied with the punches and not the poisonous darts that if successful would render her unconscious.
