SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Battery: The Dawnstar Crystal acts as a battery for the light, amplifying light-side aligned energies and thus powers as well. Users within a seven-foot radius feel this, and for those who are light-aligned, it feels amazing. Dark side users will feel the burn of Force Light.
  • Resurrection: The energy radiated from the crystal is sizeable enough to bring someone back from the dead, but it does so at a cost. A life for a life - one must sacrifice themselves to bring another back from the dead. Must be done within the first forty-eight hours of death.
  • Castigation: The crystal seems to have the ability to read a person and feel them, and thus any acts of darkness or as the crystal views it will be punished, severely. This can be from the crystal spontaneously exploding within its chamber, or casting burning white energy within a seven-foot radius. Any attempts at corruption, the crystal self-immolate and consume as much of the offending person as possible before consuming itself.
  • Lightning: When used as a lightsaber crystal, it seems immune to lightning with the ability to reflect/redirect it away from its user almost on instinct.
  • Healing: While the crystal is within a seven-foot radius, light-side aligned users heal from their wounds. They do so either at the cost of the wielder.
  • Electric Judgment: Because it can redirect or reflect lightning (as a lightsaber crystal), no matter its source; it can, albeit through training and time, it can be used to cast a chain lightning effect within a twelve-foot radius. [Once Per Day]
  • Charged: The thing with batteries is that they need to be charged. A light-side aligned user must meditate with it and concentrate their aura and presence into the crystal. The more they meditate the stronger it becomes, however; as time goes on. It will begin to consume parts of the user’s life essence. Until they are ready to do what the crystal was meant to do. Either Resurrect a life or save many lives - these lives must be innocent or the crystal will not activate. How it senses this is still a mystery.
  • Overextended: The crystal with all its abilities can easily become overextended, and if this happens it will begin to siphon Force energy from the user. If this isn’t enough it will begin to siphon the user’s life essence.
STRENGTHS
  • Lightside Battery: It can amplify light-side aligned energies/powers.
  • Chain Lightning: An electric tuning effect may appear around the lightsaber, when this does it is able to cast a chain lightning effect within a twelve-foot radius. It can do this once per day [once per thread].
  • Healing and Resurrection: It can heal and even resurrect - at a cost, of course.
WEAKNESSES
  • Immolation: The crystal seems to be somewhat temperamental, and those who wield it must be of pure heart and mind. Any sense of corruption will result in the crystal self-immolating itself and perhaps part if not all of the user as well.
  • Charged: One way or the other, the crystal will begin to take the wielder’s life essence for as long as they make use of the crystal’s unique abilities.
  • Life for Life: While the crystal can bring someone back or save many - it does so at the cost of the user’s life.
  • Revelation: There’s not exactly a manual for this, so it might come as a surprise for the wielder or even those around that person. For them to suddenly feel the burning of Force Light. This is a result of its Castigation, its self-performing Judgment. It will affect any and all within its radius. [Indiscriminate Force Light]
  • Brittle: As a crystal on its own, it is very brittle and must be handled carefully. Susceptible to not just kinetic energy, but emp/ion and sonic energies as well.
  • Darkness: The anti-Force Light, Waves of Darkness can effectively put an end to the crystal whether on its own or as a lightsaber crystal.
DESCRIPTION

Maybe it was because of all the beatings that had been given to Coruscant over the last several centuries. Maybe it had been because of all the Jedi who had died here, and if that were the case this would have been more easily found in the new Jedi Temple, would it not? Mishel often wondered this, even now it puzzles her as to why crystals had formed in the senatorial building. They differ from the crystals found around the old Jedi Temple, or anywhere else in Coruscant.

The artificer found herself oddly drawn to the Senatorial District. This feeling of being drawn only drew closer and for brief moments her mind was assaulted. Visions of the Force danced around her and she swore - she could see the ghosts. The Ghosts of Coruscant were or are rather infamous, some reliving their last moments. Others might be aware of their fate and have taken to mischief and still, others moan - all of it made for ‘supernatural’ phenomena as far as the non-Force Sensitives were concerned.

When Mishel arrived in the Senatorial Building it wouldn’t be hard to find the crystals. Well, in the sense that she knew the general area in which to look. The crystals themselves were nestled in a singular cluster in a dark corner. Scorch marks not too far from the ground, lightning. Something felt off here - energy unlike one she had felt, rather somewhat like the ones she had felt before. Mishel couldn’t place it, but what she could place were the crystals. A small cluster that at first glance, or sense it could be easy to feel nothing.

In fact, that was something of an anomaly.

Not feeling anything at all.

In Mishel’s experience typically crystals gave off some sort of energy or vibe.

Curiously, Mishel thought to meditate on the crystals to determine their alignment. It was only after hours into meditation that they revealed themselves. As if she was being tested as if the crystals had stubbornly refused to show their alignment. Then it occurred to Mishel, she had felt something like this before.

Hoylin.

Srina Talon’s sister had met her end there but had done so by self-sacrifice. Cleansing Hoylin once and for all, but this was just a bit different. There had been no bold self-sacrifice, or even a quiet one - this was acceptance, surprise, but acceptance. Carefully, Mishel extracted the cluster and proceeded to depart the Senatorial Building.

Tempted as Mishel was to return to Prosperity, she felt that her work might be better off elsewhere. So she took the crystals and headed across the infamous Violet Curtain. Security began to hassle her until she was recognized as part of the Illyrian Royalty. Which was a surprise to both the security teams and Mishel. At least until she learned who was Queen. Then her surprise faded and she did her best to conceal the laughter that wanted to emerge.

Mishel was amazed that Alessandra Creed Alessandra Creed had kept all of her old ships, but most importantly. She had the Princess Leia, and with it Mishel’s old workshop. It was there that Mishel discovered just how powerful the crystal was, and decided it would be best to keep most of the cluster hidden - leaving only three available to the public. Questions might be asked as to how Mishel was able to discern or reveal the crystal's abilities, the answer lies within meditation and a lot of trial and error via simulations.

Krass Wyms Krass Wyms added links for materials, any damage or effects are up to the writers to determine. I trust those who will eventually be wielding it, additionally this close-market and semi-unique. It cannot destroy systems or planets, or even buildings in one shot - not even a singular person. All actions in player combat must be done with consent with the exception of player versus environment (and even then at times consent is still required). It is not a superweapon per any of the descriptions given by the wookieepedia, or here.

Nor do I appreciate your tone, or implications.

The crystal amplifies force abilities, can resurrect, has a level of sentience or awareness. As I said if this was an offensive weapon it could be a superweapon. Death field instead of a healing field, the staff judging those who use it and taking energy from them. There was no tone meant to offend you but this is powerful and you have done a very good job balancing it. Even making it by the number drastically underpowered in the ratings.

Everything does look good just please link electric judgement, heal and force light to the submission please.

Yes, it can resurrect - at the cost of the user's life. Anything used with this crystal will come back to the user, which is part of its weaknesses. It only specifically amplifies lightside abilities, and again all of it is up to the user. While there was no offensive tone meant, there were implications. There are definitely reasons for the crystal acting the way it does - as it goes back to Lanik Dawnstar's story.

Links are added and updated, in the future, I encourage you to change your approach in judgments. Ask probing questions instead of making statements can come across as accusatory.
