The Dark Sacrements are a pair of Lightsabers created by Rannan Kol. Frequently used as a pair in combat to compliment the wielders dual style the sabers benefit from several advantages inherent to their construction.
Notibly the hilt of the lightsabers are constructed of phrik which while lightsaber resistant is also lighter than standard durasteel. They have also been upgraded with a high-output diatium power cell to enhance cutting power, a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse which allows them to remain operational under water and a magnetized handle ensuring that disarming is more difficult.
Both lightsabers are also equipped with Katak crystals capable of leeching the stamina and strength from those in their vicinity. They create a dark mulberry colored blade when the lightsabers are activated. Activated the blades measure approximately 72 centimeters in length, shorter than the average lightsaber which measure upwards of 145 centimeters in length.
