Intent: To create a Palace for Princess Thais Kallisto and her court and to provide a headquarters for her mining operations.
Classification: Palace/Estate
Location: On the planet of Isis, between the spaceport of Neskroff and the plentiful crystal valleys where the Kallisto Mining Company quarries are located.
Affiliation: Princess Thais Kallisto
Description: The palace exterior is made from Quartz, which is a more durable building material than Marble or Stone. Quartz is nearly impervious to damage which is why the Crystal Palace has been able to withstand the test of time. Most of the floors are made of marble. Food, and even water, for the Palace, including water for its many fountains is imported from other planets therefore the Crystal Palace has been a well-known buyer of exotic food and drink. In addition to the many wings, bedrooms, refreshers, living spaces and servant’s quarters that the Palace boasts, it also features:
- A large ballroom with crystal and glass chandeliers
- Sitting room with expansive views of towering crystal spires which generate colorful prisms all day long due to the reflection of the sun. This makes it a nice place for entertaining a smaller amount of guests and is the place where Princess Kallisto does most of her business.
- Library with history books, archives and data files on the Kallisto family and its ancestors
- Crix Meriet’s Room: Crix is the Princess’s slaver procurer, courtier and Head of the Workforce at Kallisto Mining Company
- Napo’s Room: Napo is Thais Kallisto’s trusted Gutetree adviser
- Miss Janine’s Room: Miss Janine is the Princess’s primary handmaiden
- Staff and servant rooms for the kitchen staff and additional help
- Underground tunnels: These provide secret passage for courtiers wanting to avoid the Princess for whatever reason. There is also an emergency bunker accessible by the tunnels which is there in case of attack as the Palace has no defense shields.
- Indoor botanical garden featuring all types of planets and flowers from across the galaxy. Isis does not grow much because of crystal and rock terrain.
- Swimming pool with floating bar
- In the back of the Palace, the Princess is building a large bestiary in order to keep animals from around the galaxy. She currently has no creatures living in the bestiary.
History: Built by the original Kallisto family who were exiled from Naboo and settled on Isis, the Crystal Palace is a few hundred years old. The only scandal that the Palace bore witness too was when Gutretree rebels executed Thais Kallisto’s parents in the sitting room that she loves so much. Other than that, the Palace has needed little repair needed.
