STRENGTHS
- Archon of Destruction: The Covenant of Blood is designed to epitomize the ferocity and destructive might of the Knights of Ren and their Brotherhood of Maw allies. A lethal arsenal of weapons strategically located across the vessel gives it near-total coverage, with only a single-blind spot directly behind the ship.
- Ground Shaker: The Covenant of Blood is capable of making planet fall, with hundreds of support thrusters and inertial dampening technology allowing the ship to become a potent fortress on the ground as well as in space.
- Thin-Skinned: The Covenant of Blood makes use of extensive shielding units, creating a large, overlapping field across the vessel to protect it from the most intense of enemy fire. When these shields fail, however, the Covenant of Blood has relatively thin armor plating, and it would take only a minimal bombardment from enemy warships to tear through.
- Sleeping Giant: With the extensive internal features and weapon grid across the vessel, coupled with limited power generation facilities, the Covenant of Blood takes an extended period of time to bring its full combat systems online. Weapons can take upwards of ten minutes to become fully functional, and shielding another twenty beyond that, leading to the vessel taking nearly half an hour to become fully combat operational.
The Covenant of Blood was created by the Knights of Ren, in their new capacity as the Crimson Hands Tribe within the Brotherhood of Maw. Designed in conjunction by Kyrel Ren and Pheretha Ren, the Covenant of Blood is intended to serve as the Knights of Ren's primary base of operation beyond the borders of Maw space. Serving as both a warship and temple, The Sanctum of Ren, the Covenant of Blood holds deep significance to the fragmented Knights of Ren within Maw space, and hope for a potential future has been placed upon the dark hulled warship.
