The ExO of the Corporate Authorities of Denon rarely hosted guests himself, preferring to redirect matters to the Direx Board. One may think of it as a senate, rather than political figures representing their planets it was comprised of some of the most elite and powerful corporations in the galaxy. Jaeger Solutions had started to make moves on the board, disrupting the balance of power. Mr. Fey enjoyed the bickering between corporate figures, both entertaining and beneficial. While they squabbled among themselves his position of authority would remain unchallenged.
The conference room was quaint for a galactic power. His personal office separated by a transparisteel wall, sensors rimmed the structure suggesting there was more to the room than meets the eye. Powerful energy projectors capable of turning the room into a stronghold were anyone to break in. For reason of paranoia regarding his personal safety Mr. Fey did not keep his office at the pinnacle of the CAD tower, but rather deep underground. Security terminals were usually on every tenth floor but underground they could be seen at almost every junction within the network of corridors.
The ceiling was covered in leaves and branches, its primary stem disappearing behind the wall where the trunk of the tree was located and cared for by an onsite caretaker whose sole task was to maximize the lifespan of the Olbio tree. Despite the efforts of the caretaker the branches seemed withered, leaves drying up. Far from Myrkr the trees oft quickly died. A family pod of Ysalamir nestled in the branches, claws dug deep, quietly dreaming. Mr. Fey had procured the specimens through a member of the Direx Board, Luminous Sun, so as to ensure that those of the Force could not manipulate the ExO or otherwise read his mind.
Assistants and clerical workers moved into the room and took their seats and prepared to begin documenting the meeting, then looked to Mr. Fey. If Devaronians were demons, Mr. Fey was a spectre of evil. The Kalzerian was tall, looming over most. His thin build and bright yellow eyes gave him a serpentine appearance. He seemed to perpetually hold his hands clasped together at the front. His skin was grey and leather-like. He smiled as the door opened for the representatives of the Confederacy and Silver Jedi to enter, his smile revealing a row of dagger-pointed black teeth and a slithering grey tongue. "Welcome," he announced, as though his tongue were ready to drip with the venom of a snake. Such was the nature of the man
