The Corellia Affair (Metal Lords negotiating with FWC)

sunset_1024x1024.png
Corellia a long time jewel of the Core its golden beaches the wonders of Coronet City. Corellia at the height of technology rivaled Coruscant. It was stunning. But fate had seen to take that jewel and break it. It was not the thriving metropolis it had been but it was not dead either.

She had heard that a group called the Metal Lords had taken possession Corellia but she did not know much more about them or what their intentions were for Corellia. Faith was trying to renew contacts and trade with planets that had strong ties to Alderaan in the past. Before they had worked with Zeltros and Manaan the Coalition had been engaging the Corellians.

Her attempts so far had proven half successful and now on their final approach to Corellia Faith tried to find connections between Alderaan and Corellia. Would the Metal Lords be willing to negotiate? Would the Corellians like to be part of the Coalition? Questions with no answers right now.

She brought with her the staff needed, and any family member who desired to be present during these negotiations. To say she was nervous was an under statement she felt as if she were coming in blind. Whatever these negotiations brought about she prayed it was in the best interest of everyone involved.

A beacon welcomed the ship as it crossed into the Metal Lords territory, "Welcome to Droidellia." A small pause, "Yeah...we did it...now deal with it"

Faith blinked unsure how to respond...wow...this was going to be a long negotiation.

50 post minimum between both factions

Nerius arched a brow at the arrival of governmental figures from other organizations. He had not expected to hear from another so soon, even though his position amongst the Lords was relatively new. He had been a leader of his Horde for a time before joining with the Metal Lords, and so was in a way a person whom held authority. But amongst the other Lords? Basically none.

"Nerius, how should we expect this too play out?" Nerius glanced to Netrait, his second. The other HRD returned his commanders glance, though continued piloting the ship they were currently riding upon.

"Can't say.." Nerius thought over his next words. To reveal insight could be seen as more humane, leading to questions he needn't have asked, "We will need to wait for the other Lords to convene here."

Nerius rose and moved to the rear of the ship, inside the war room. Once in he drew up a Folhet outfit which he fitted to his human-esque form. Buttoning the front, he tucked it in, then donned his long leather coat. Lastly he placed his hat upon his head, now ready to meet company.

"Send out, that Infiltrator is ready to meet, if they need me."

HK stood by one side of a large oval durasteel conference table, a holoprojector built into the middle of the table to house enough space for the both parties. The meeting place the droid designated was one of the new space stations built by the Metal Lords in this region, moved into the orbit of Corellia temporarily. Although some rogue elements, like the drone that greeted Faith and her representatives tried to declare otherwise, Corellia was not a Metal Lord controlled planet. At the time it was more or less a neutral zone, within the sphere of influence of the Droid Lords who were now building their domains over nearby planets, yet aligning towards the Free Worlds Coalition and Alderaan. It was a puzzle the droid wanted to sort out sooner rather than later as he knew Corellians well enough, even in their weakened state they would not bent knee easily to those they saw as invaders, and the reconstruction of the planet was already too far on its way by other powers for the droids to offer that as a trading chip in gaining the Corellian loyalty. As such HK would rather get rid of the planet and forsake claims on it conflicting with the consensus of Corellian people and the previous signs of Alderaan presence and interest in the planet, a sign of good will towards organics under their rule and those neighboring them. It was easier than starting off with possibility of war between the Lords and the three factions surrounding them at least.

The station itself the meeting would take place would be a prime example of the early Metal Lord stellar architecture. It seemed very well cobbled together out of carcasses of older destroyed ships and stations, yet it all seemed to fit rather well like quilt of scrap and recycled duranium patches. At one side of the station a pointed nose of Imperial Star Destroyer was protruding from its flank, on another there was visible iconic rounded hull of a Munificent Frigate, yet it all blended rather perfectly and seamlessly to form one solid structure. That was because most of the Metal Lord forged shadow ports and large portion of their ships was fabricated out of re-purposed scrap. During the time the droid lords ventured in the deep space from system to system they had relatively little resources and manufacturing stations to purchase new ships or make them themselves. Instead they had to make do with what they had, perhaps that was why they were willing to claim somewhat permanent territory as soon after their declaration of sovereignty they quickly begun to work on reactivating old shipyard and manufacturing plants on various planets and constructed new ones. Now news of the old Loronar shipyards, Hakassi shipwright facilities, and Nubia droid foundries churning with life once would spread throughout the sector, along with a ring of space stations and orbital construction facilities being formed around Denon in size to rival those of Kuat and Corellia.

Either way, once aboard they would be lead through the station by two drone guards, mechanical creatures with simple minds, they were to droids what droid soldiers were to most organics, servants, cannon fodder, and simple minded watchmen. Moving through the corridors of the station they would see many droids, old and new, of various makes and models moving about on their business, chattering between each other by exchanging streams of high density data as they carried out their normal every day duty on the station. There would be some organics there too, other travelers and delegations who were stopping by the station to refuel, do some quick trade, or just do whatever, but mostly it would be ton upon ton of droids.

Once they would enter the conference room they would see HK standing there by the oval table along with other Metal Lords, the ancient machine wore his regular Vong-shaped organic armor and thick black cloak, although not much weapons seemed visible on his belt, and there weren't any guards in the room, the two drone-warriors who led the delegation in would leave their skeletal armored bodies behind the door and stay there to keep watch outside the room. HK did not spoke but looked upon the delegation and nodded to Faith in a greeting, letting them have the first words.

[member="Nerius"].

Before the delegation arrived Nerius would receive a confirmation that the Lord Protector was ready and his presence was indeed needed. Although HK did not knew much about the other Metal Lord, a new addition at the time they decided to claim territory, Nerius would be protected by the same Code HK was, as such they were considered equals in their political power, to a degree as there was probably difference in resources and connections, but as far as the Metal Lord laws were concerned, they were equals. As such HK wanted him, and other Lords, to be present during the negotiation, as this would be a fairly big decision, trading planets, their input would be welcomed.

That was actually what worried HK, even more so than what the FWC delegation could be willing to give up for Corellia, the Lords may have been all equal but they did not exactly had a strong leader, they all just sort of did what they wanted to, and as long as it all fit within their Code, then they were in the clear. However as the rogue drone outside the station greeting Faith and others claiming the planet as 'Droidellia' showed, that slightly anarchic way of dealing with things didn't always work when it came to diplomatic relations.

The droid just hoped for one of his fellow lords to not say something stupid that would lead to a diplomatic incident.

Faith looked out the view port to see what remained of Corellia. It was still something even her imagination had a hard time handling. Yet just beyond she could see the planet broken.

She shook her head and turned away from the window she thought about the Corellians and what they wanted a few had voiced concern about what they needed. Wants and needs two very different things especially in a negotiation. What could she offer these Metal Lords, if only HK were here perhaps he would offer an insight that she did not possess.

She looked over at those that had come with her they had the same look on their faces that she felt was on hers. Uncertainty.

The Steward came back, "Mam we will be landing in a few moments."

Faith nodded, "Thank you."

She was feeling old this trip her body though in good shape seemed to ache surely she couldn't be getting arithritus? She'd have to talk to someone about it.

"Everybody ready? Just be yourself speak clearly and be sure to observe and listen." There were a couple of students from the University with them they were taking courses in diplomacy. She hoped this meeting gave them a good experience.

"Sir, Lord Protector says that yes, they need your appearance." Came the voice of his comrade from the head of the ship. Nerius nodded and moved for the nearby dropship which would shoot him to Corellia. Sitting on the first leather covered seat found inside, he crossed a leg over the other.

This was a very human like posture, but in the end, he was an HRD. He was expected to have heavily human-esque tendencies so he did not hide it. It would probably appear weird if he did not portray those motions as expected.

One day he would probably frak it up and end up revealing he was more than just a droid, but until then he would play the part.

As the countdown toward drop began, Nerius glanced out at the site of the planet he would be on soon. Corellia. A planet of long history, and great importance when it came to the greater galactic scale. It also was the planet on which he, in his human body, had so long ago had his first alcoholic drink. He had enjoyed it immensely. It was a gin and tonic. When he had awoken the next morning, he had been wearing someone else's shirt and reeked of a cologne he could never recognize. Not to mention being sore all over. The numbers still didn't add up to him.

Had he made love to a bear of a man?

Lost in the memories of his other life, Nerius found he had sat still as a statue through the whole trip, and even had remained still a few moments since arriving. Rising to his feet, Nerius sent out a wireless ping to a nearby droid. The message was his call sign and questioning where the arrivals were. The message back hailed him as, "Lord Infiltrator," and pointed him toward the woman and her entourage's expected DZ.

He made haste then found a location near enough by it to not appear to be waiting, but instead just happening upon them. There he folded arms against his chest then leaned against a wall.

Meanwhile,

While Faith and her delegation were making their way through the landing procedure and hopefully swiftly enough through the space station to see the droid, and apparently Nerius was going out of his way to look cool for them and think about some burly man putting his input stick into his output hole,

HK was still waiting within the conference room of the station for their arrival. While there he sent out a transmission to [member="Ultimatum"], [member="Lord Mettallum"], [member="WD-334"], and [member="AD-8"], knowing very well that the other droid lords were quickly getting involved in their internal politics or laying claims on worlds of their own. Metal Lords had no single unified leader or form of government, there was no specific ruler above others, and although HK could have laid claim on being the Metal King or High Lord Protector, he had no plan to do anything like that. Metal Lords were equal, each able to follow their own plans as long as it didn't endanger his fellow droid lords either by attacking them directly or endangering them through other means like pissing off their neighbors or dealing with the Sith, he wanted to keep it like that, as such if they were going to make as substantial diplomatic decision as their standing towards a major world, which would dictate the relationship with FWC next door, he wanted others to be there as well to voice their opinions.

Until then, he had little to do but stay in the conference room, ready for the negotiations to begin, awaiting for Faith and the rest to make their way inside. He already received notification that they landed and were disembarking aboard his station, he would send her a silent greeting welcoming her to the Metal Lord installation, along with directions on how to proceed through the station to the conference room. Although if she wished, of course, a couple of the drone guards or servants could just lead her and the students there without an issue.

The great beast had managed to quietly sneak up to droid without it hearing him. The long spear in hand would not puncture the metal skin, but it would distract him long enough. With a bellow Brekash smacked Ultimatum's head to the side with the spear before pouncing on the oversized robot. As much as the mechanical being struggled, the raw strength within the Nekghoul's body overpowered the servos. Ultimatum was effectively pinned with no way escaping. Brekash bent down close and whispered in the droid's audio sensor, "Metal thing has message from another metal thing. Dory deli ah. Metal thing should pay more attention."

Ultimatum was about to respond when a melodious scream filled the room. Brekash hardly had a moment to look up before a golden blur smashed into him, knocking the ghoul off of Ultimatum. The two beings rolled for a moment or two longer before the golden form of Loyalty stilled over Brekash. Moving with incredibly speed she jabbed at the Nekghoul. His thick hide took several cuts before his hands caught hers and the stronger being tossed her across the room. Crashing into the metal wall Loyalty lifted herself off the ground and raced at Brekash, catching him before he could pick himself up.

While the two continued brawling, Ultimatum stood up and walked to the exit to the room. With a bow to the two fighting he stepped outside and turned to head to the bridge. Legion was waiting just outside and the protocol droid asked, "What is the purpose to allow them to fight? They might get injured for no purpose."

"Organics must burn energy. They must always be training, even if only lightly, so that they do not become complacent and stagnant. It is also safer for them to fight here than on a world. Since Mustafar is no longer a safe haven we have to make due." Ultimatum wondered what it was that Brekash was telling him of. He had a message apparently.

Going through the computer as he walked, the artificial found the mentioned message and read through it. Droidellia. Strange choice of names, but Ultimatum was not going to get into that. He preferred the old name, Corellia. He sent an order to the Sovereignty to move to the system. They would arrive soon. He sent a message ahead.

"HK this is Ultimatum. I shall arrive shortly. Do you have any large open spaces aboard? The kids are getting restless and I'm starting to worry about the hull of my ship." He added a joke in the spur of moment, hoping that the older droid would catch the humor. It suddenly struck Ultimatum, he did not know if 36 actually knew or had even met any of the various organic company that Ultimatum kept. It was a rather long list, perhaps strangely so. Yet at the same time, reality happened and people joined him. He didn't always get a choice, not that he was complaining.

Faith entered the room where the discussions would take place. She looked around it felt cold and impersonal not like other conference rooms she had been in that at least offered distraction and comfort for the long meetings.

She stood there now waiting for the delegation team from the other faction to arrive. Who would it be? Was it someone from her past? Would she have met them before? Would there be additional tension?

She took a breath counted to ten to calm her thoughts and waited.

Doctor Rashae Lovous accompanied the Queen on this venture into Corellia. Her focus was to the people of Corellia and ensure they were being properly cared for by the Metal Lords. Care for a population was more th an just shelter, nutrition and clothing. The woman had no issue with droids, in fact she takes very good care of what few droids she has in her employ.

The Lord Protector, HK.. something. Rashae wasnt entirely sure what he was called other than Lord Protector. It didn't matter as he was their contact for this diplomatic mission. The polite smile was provided to the Metal Lords and other droids that came into view with an incline to her head. As Minister of Medicine her focus was clear in as much as the welfare of the Queen was at the forefront.

Before they came into the chambers for the meeting she asked the Queen in a low quiet tone. “Does her Majesty require a stim?” Her vitals had spiked.

Who could blame her? Some of these Metal Lords seemed not friendly. If she wanted it, a discreet small injector would be applied. Nothing too strong but enough to provide focus and ease the tension. She looked at the delegation once before they entered the chambers. The same practiced painted smile was on the lips of the formal Minister of Medicine towards HK.

“Lord Protector.” By way of greeting as she bowed to the Metal Lord.

The doctor then returned to the stream of data. She did after all ran at the moment several projects.

Myles volunteered himself for the diplomatic mission. He didn't want the Queen to go anywhere without protection in place. Wearing his standard gray tactical jacket he had protection for the company and himself in the form of hidden pockets and compartments. He wasn't outfitted for an assault mission no, he brought only enough to protect the Queen and her staff.

He could sense a nervousness in the air. Myles would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. Corellia, yes, he has been here; although very long ago. Familiar faces were with him on this mission including, Dr. [member="Rashae"] Lovous. Good ol' Doc. Seems like our fates will constantly put us together. He thought comically to himself.

Before departing the ship, Myles made eye contact with the Queen "Everything will be fine your Highness." He gestured a smile toward the Queen, he had no idea what would be going on in totality but, it was his job to ensure the safety of the crew.

Myles had brought a few Triad soldiers with him, mainly for risk assessment. He stationed two aboard the ship to monitor situations from within, acting as a mobile command crew alerting Myles of conditions (atmospheric, damage control etc.). Although it wasn't a full fireteam it was enough to gather intel about the situation as time went on.

Moments later, after the company had emerged from the ship and made their way into where the conference was taking place, the door opened and metal bodies were observing them. After Dr. Lovous gave a brief greeting toward the HK unit, known as Lord Protector. Myles offered the same polite response.

"Lord Protector, a pleasure in finally meeting you" he said as he gave a brief bow. After bowing his comms patched in and a voice came through the channel "Hawkins here, Mobile Command has been set up and patched through just fine, signal is a little spotty though. Will alert you of changing conditions. Hawkins out"

Hawkins was the lead technician for Triad and has been on quite a few missions as a communications analyst or systems engineer but he can hold himself decently in a fight with a scattergun. Keeping a polite stance Myles looked around at the conference room and was making mental note of the situation, the Metal Lords were pretty impressive so far.

AD-8 had arrived late as usual so got a shuttle down as soon as he could. He thought Corelia was a great planet and was sad at the prospect of losing it but understood that they could reach some sort of compromise in the negotiations. He rushed down the corridors of the shadow port to the meeting room eager to get on with the discussions. He went to meet up with HK

Faith looked at the forms before them they were indeed made of metal. She smiled at [member="HK-36"] , "Now this is quite unexpected." She looked at [member="Myles Davorak"] , "I know" she trusted him she was safe with him. She then glanced over to [member="Rashae"] , giving her that what do you think look as she turned back to HK.

"You turn up in the oddest of places Lord Protector" She then began to take in those with him. Were they all like HK, that odd sense of humor and ability to show sarcasm. She did not think she knew any of them, [member="Ultimatum"] [member="Nerius"] so all of this was going to be interesting. She looked around again so, the Metal Lords on Corellia, what happen with all of the inhabitants.

She remembered her visit with him when she was busy Embassy building he had become a fixture around the palace. He came whenever the doors were open she couldn't help but wonder if he felt lonely. Perhaps though with all of these around him she was trying to apply human logic to Metal Lords.

"Kids? Do not tell me you have decided to adopt young organic proteges to bring them up in our ways as well?"

The droid sent back a message to Ultimatum in response, making a reference to Kida, HK's young shapeshifting protege who may not be as young as she appears, for as it was discovered by HK, the wildling did not age.

"Either way, we have plenty of room, although it looks like the FWC brought with them quite the envoy of younger students to attend to this meeting."

The droid warned Ultimatum ahead of time, relieved that he would not be standing through the meeting alone.

HK nodded in slight bow, greeting [member="Faith Organa"], [member="Myles Davorak"], [member="Rashae"], and any other representatives who would arrive with them, like the students Faith motioned earlier,

"I go where I am needed, precisely at the time I am needed the most, not sooner or later than that."

The droid quipped first to Faith, before looking over Myles and Rashae, his red photoreceptors whirring slightly as he cast the crimson cold glow over them,

"And the pleasure is mine as well, although I wish the meeting would have been arranged at less tumultuous time. As you saw already on your way here, there is a droid presence in this system, and the reports you received about neighboring worlds are correct, the same is happening over Denon, Hakassi, Nubia, and Loronar among others. I am here representing a new major power in the Galaxy, the common machine interests, organics in this region tend to call us the Metal Lords. Our appearance may have been sudden and unforeseen, but rest easy, we do not came to settle our territory as conquerors but traders and restorers. So far we have been accepted without violence, striking deals, now our fleets patrol the vital hyperlane trade routes warding off pirates who would try to harass convoys passing through the area in the past, old shipyards are stirring once more, repaired and glowing with fires of our forges, and stations like this are built over the planets under our influence in vast rings, new trade ports and manufacturing facilities."

HK explained to them, at this point it would be safe to assume that FWC didn't had official contact with the unknown presence of machines who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere over Denon and other neighboring worlds in that region to set up their new base of operations,

"It seems Corellians heard news of these projects and portion of their population reached out to us, asking for us to extend our influence over the planet and share our industrial restoration efforts with them as well. Some of the Metal Lords jumped on the opportunity and accepted their offer without conferring with others of our kind, just the same it seems it was only a very vocal minority on the planet that invited our presence there, which brings us to the current situation."

That would have been an explanation for how Corellia seemingly moved into Metal Lord influences from its own accord during the map's switch to smaller hexes when it was granted to the Metal Lords without a proper dominion. Either way, at this point [member="AD-8"] entered the room, joining HK who was already speaking with the representatives about business concerning the planet.

HK nodded to the other droid as well, greeting and introducing him to others,

"Lord AD-8."

Before focusing back on Faith, Rashae, Myles, and others.

"I am here to issue official decree about Denon's stance on the Corellian situation, along with other Lords who agreed to join this meeting to speak their piece, hopefully agreeing with my proclamation. We are still waiting on a couple more who just arrived in the system."

That of course referred to Ulti, who should join them shortly, and [member="Nerius"], who was free to come along with the FWC representatives who he would have seen in the hangar and come to the meeting room to join on the talks.

Ultimatum was glad to hear it, not that he was truly concerned about the rough housing. The organics would stop when they wearied and then Ultimatum would have their injuries tended to. Besides, he had learned that organics needed an output for pent up energy. This fighting, while dangerous, was effective as that. The artificial was about to respond when the ship shuddered as it exited hyperspace. They had arrived.

A general call was sent throughout the ship, to prepare for launching a shuttle and then begin combat drills. Even while Ultimatum was away the crew would continue to train, there was after all a galaxy full of potential enemies. At any possible moment a ship may enter the system and should the vessel turn out to be full of enemies then they had to be ready to defend themselves.

"PU-01, prepare to launch."

-----

The travel would take only a few minutes and then Ultimatum would be aboard the station. It was a few minutes before he entered the room where the others were waiting. "Apologies for the wait."

Nerius was surprised, having some how been bypassed by the organics. Thus with haste he made toward the conference, reaching it in a few moments thanks to the untiring form of the droid body. Breaching the door way, Nerius offered a half-assed bow, "Lord Protector, Lord Ultimatum, I believe you are Lord AD-8, it is a pleasure to see you all again. How fair your steads?" Nerius asked, folding his arms elegantly against his chest. Wearing a Shadow Coat, produced by Vokun, head of Ahvulan, the company which made his droid body, not even a Force Sensitive could tell he was more than the HRD he appeared.

"I am Lord Abomination," Nerius now offered a true bow, having noticed the organics present, "One of the newest of the ranks. I do apologize for my tardiness, I was under the guise I would meet up with you upon your arrival to the planet." Nerius offered a shrug, "It would seem it was for not."

A glance was sent toward HK, "So, let us pretend that I am not up to date with current situations, what should we expect from this conference?"

Rashae raised a single sculpted delicately arched eyebrow at the queen's expression that told her several things. There was an answering incline of her head only that would say all that was needed without words or very much in the way of discernible expression. Organic women often were hard to read even for organics, much less droids. Ardgal was part cyborg with enhanced chips and circuitry that had trouble figuring Rashae out at times.

The doctor started making notations on her datapad and kept an eye on the Queen's vitals. The Metal Lords began making their appearance and the introductions proceeded. Rashae returned the cold red glow appraisal with a glacial ice blue appraisal of her own. For an organic she could go from fire to cold in less than a heart beat. A necessary survival component that was hard learned. Did she know the Metal Lord other than brief conversation with the Lord Protector? No. The crawl and feel of that kind of appraisal was at once annoying and disconcerting as it the exact same expression those who underestimate her would do.

The scientist that should run on logic was not always accused of it. She was however one of the top geneticists in the galaxy, specializing in genetic fusions and transgenics. The raven haired lady was a good doctor to be certain but was a better scientist. At the moment she just wanted to get on with a data gathering point on the organic population to get a litmus of health and needs. Thats what she figured she was there for. Instead she would have to endure the politics of lengthy greetings, posturing and details that held little interest to her. The Queen may find interest in it, though and that likely kept the Minister of Medicine there.

She continued to go over reports from her various projects across the galaxy, bids for construction of more medical vessels and a flag ship for her growing convoy .. err might be a fleet at that point but she didnt understand those parameters. Rashae had too many needs and not enough ships. It was simple math at that point. The stiff, formal and cold Minister of Medicine would look up as each Metal Lord delegate arrived. The same painted smile and acknowledgment of their position and greeting was provided. She was in formal style this evening.

Delila's hand slid from clasped in front of her body to lazily resting near the blaster at her hip. Naturally the war veteran didn't think it was wise for the royal house to meet with the Metal Lords in such a fashion. In her long and experienced life she considered it asking for trouble. Like a match ready to fall on dry timber.

There was no surprise though that the band of inorganics was headed by HK-36 himself. Curious he went from assisting organics during his time with the Protectorate to possibly wanting to wipe them off the universal map? Perhaps the organization was more or less a haven for non-organic beings. Either way she wasn't trusting her old acquaintance as far as she could throw him.

Myles looked over and saw that familiar face. Of course Delila, still on point as always. He made note of her body language as her hand rested by her side. Myles had a feeling of unease wash over him.

No telling what the company would expect here today, there was a coldness in the air; something.....different about this situation that made him feel uncertain. He nodded toward [member="Delila Castillon"] and offered a brief smile. He worked with Del in the past and they seemed to compliment each other's abilities; social or not.

Now the question today was "What will happen and how will it happen?" he shrugged mentally and was observing some of the students take a keen interest in the Metal Lords but not saying anything right off. Myles hadn't really interacted with droids and non-organics on a scale of this size, therefore this would be a good exercise for him.

Faith was glad to have [member="Rashae"] , [member="Delila Castillon"] and [member="Myles Davorak"] with her they were observant, offered well intended feedback and could handle themselves in most situations. She hadn't seen one where they couldn't yet.

She had to collect her thoughts for a minute she had been thrown off by the greeting by [member="Nerius"] who called himself Lord Abomination. She could understand why the Corellians would have a problem with that. She nodded and smiled to him nonetheless but she couldn't help but wonder how they came up with that.

She looked to [member="Ultimatum"] she had never had the pleasure of meeting him either. But she would trust in one thing in all of this [member="HK-36"] had always dealt truly and fairly with her. If these other member of the Metal Lords were his friends and he trusted them she would give them all the benefit of the doubt and not focus on the title. "none needed we've only just begun"

She however looked at HK, "You are here to issue a decree from Denon, and I am here to say that Alderaan has interests here on Corellia. By interests I would say that inhabitants have reached out to us and we come at their request. So we should perhaps discuss what we can do to help ease the tensions on Corellia."

It would take perhaps a bit more bantering but she wanted Rashae to look over any reports on the enviroment to ensure the people were safe, and as for Myles and Delila she didn't want them too far away in case something unexpected occurred.

"Lord Nerius here got his title from one of our droid lord comrades, Lord Mettallum, you see he is a very religious droid and follower of the cult of the Maker who believes that HRD models like Lord Nerius are abominations, he believes that droids and organics can exist peacefully but droids should embrace their cold metal aesthetics instead of emulating appearance of organics."

It would give them a glimpse into what was an actual droid culture forming in their sector, and a look at the tumultuous internal politics of the Metal Lords, but HK would rather they knew more about their still slightly rocky state than to assume Nerius got his title by mass murdering organics or something like that.

Looking over to Ultimatum he assured the other droid,

"And you have not missed much, Sovereign, I was about to issue my decree concerning Corellia and its current state. For the rest of the conference I suppose we will discuss the terms set by this decree and how to further relief the situation on Corellia for the best outcome for all parties involved."

He answered to Nerius' question before looking back towards Faith,

"We have already received word of Alderaan's involvement and interest in Corellia, and it is because of this complex situation and tensions why we have reached out to you to gather here just as the Corellians did. To ease the tensions is our goal and what my decree is concerned with, so please, now that we are all here, allow me to speak my piece about my official stance on it and then we can continue our discussion about the current tensions and border state."

With that HK raised one of his hands to ask for no further interruptions as he was finally about to do the decree-speech,

"Metal does not age, we are eternal, a droid never forgets. We do not forget the crimes and injustice done upon us and the free people of this Galaxy, nor do we forget about the rare moments of kindness throughout our long lifetimes when the organics showed us kindness. Over millenniums I fought alongside many Corellians who were willing to risk their lives for the freedom and prosperity of this Galaxy in the face of warring Sith who would endanger them, among them Lord Protector Ayden Cater who was the Exarch of Corellia during my time with the Omega Protectorate and later died during the Omega Incident, destroying a planet-killer super-weapon. I hereby acknowledge the contributions of Corellia towards preservation of Galactic Society and therefore preservation of free droid interests. I acknowledge that the Corellian population who called upon the Metal Lords to come under our protection may have been a vocal minority and may not represent the stance of majority of Corellians or even the Corellian government. I acknowledge Corellian sovereignty and independence, whichever power they will choose to align with, the choice will be made by them alone and I will not interfere with the procedures unless requested by the Corellian government Such is the decree of Iron Lord Protector Above Denon. Artificial Sovereign, Lord Abomination, Metal Lord AD-8,"

HK did a half-turn to look towards the other Metal Lords as he addressed them,

"I hereby ask you to officially support my decree and support Corellian freedom and ability to choose their alliances through whichever method they deem proper and adequate without our interference in their political affairs."

The droid would turn back to look at Faith,

"I would also like to officially ask Alderaan to acknowledge the Metal Lord claims on major worlds such as Denon, Nubia, and Hakassi, Corellian Colonies and their own independence to choose allegiances regardless of Corellia's choice, such as Columnus, New Plympto, Saberhing and other minor neighboring worlds, and outlying fringe worlds of Thoadeye and Leria Kersil where Metal Lord presence has already formed peacefully and the cooperation with local populations is underway. Finally, I ask you to acknowledge that a droid, when proven to be self-aware, autonomous, and intelligent enough is a sentient being, and therefore privileged to the same civil rights and liberties as an organic being in Alderaan territory."

Then the droid lowered his hand to signal he was done making his official statement regarding Corellia and the list of demands that followed, both concerning more minor territorial disputes throughout their borders, FWC's acknowledgement that free machines now have their own independent territory, and their official stance on droid liberties within their own territory, which was probably something they could expect coming. HK was sure that Alderaan wasn't really engaging in practices of torturing and abusing droids, except maybe Dells in her spare time, but getting their official stance on it was part of the bureaucracy that went into the meeting.
