Core Accords

The Core had been left a mess since the devastation that laid before it. Coruscant was in ruins, the Sith Empire and the First Order were setting up checkpoints and who knows what. Refugees being taken left and right, cargo being sanctioned and inspected. It was a mad house. Less is even known about the Deep Core, as Kuat has been left relatively alone by this. But since their growth has became so extensive, and they had amassed good, trusting, partners, the President of Kuat Drive Yards hoped he could call in his favor of his business partners for the respect and kindness he had showed them. Just about everyone here has worked with Kuat Drive Yards once or more in their time, although Jaster might be harder to persuade, Ferron hoped it wouldn't be. The UTC and KDY hadn't had much contact.... there was a contract in the works but due to the major contract between KDY and the nearby CSA, the great Kuat Drive Yards may be just a little bit busy before that would happen, but Ferron promised he would do his best to get the order in for him.

A small inkling of what Ferron wanted to talk to everyone about was found in an encrypted holonet message. Since The Sith Empire had checkpoints in the core, and Kuat was in the Core, it was of the utmost safety that this communications be made secret. The individuals in question Ferron did invite to Kuat Drive Yards Orbital Array, but he would understand because of the Imperial Bloc Treaty, they may not want to come near. And that was perfectly understandable and reasonable, so Ferron did the work for them. He spent the credits and resources to set up encrypted signals and holoprojectors, getting secure lines, should any of the members only wanted to show up in Hologram form. They would be in full, life-size form, and Ferron had set up a secure and private conference room, where they could all see each other.

What they were informed of was a proposition.... to join their companies together in an Alliance. The plan was to protect the Core and allow individual rule, whether that meant companies or governments, on planets, stations, or otherwise. This was expected to increase profits to the more business-minded employers, it was a relief effort to protect the Core and its inhabitants from the current invaders, enslavers, and murderers, and it would also allow anyone within the Core to do as they pleased. This meant less tariffs and restrictions, such as from any major organization like the Empire or Republic, less restrictions on transport and possibly safety protocols should a vote be casted as such, allowing more volumes of transport and dangerous cargo. All in all, the Core was left open. But while open, it was devastated, and it needed help.

Ferron would await for anyone to arrive or connect, hoping they would answer his call so they could communicate further on the subject and come to an agreement.

Rycherd had received the message from [member="Ferron Troste"] early in the morning. Empress Teta was close to Kuat, and so it had been little issue for Rycherd to schedule a trip to the world. He made sure everything was in order on Empress Teta before he departed to Kuat. He even made sure to take the vessel he had purchased from Kuat Drive Yards to the meeting. It was a small craft, but he had come to respect its capabilities. He still wished for more, but he would have to wait. The Castellax Foundation had begun to shift more heavily towards Droid Production, and that was requiring most of the companies resources.

His shuttle touched down at the Kuat Drive Yards Headquarters, Rycherd departing the shuttle without much delay to head towards the designated meeting location, escorted by two of his companies new Specter Class Security Droids. The units had not been deployed against their intended targets thus far, but they had proved to be effective at dealing with other criminal elements. He was looking forward to seeing them in action against their destined foe.

In time, Rycherd finally arrive at the meeting chamber, waving for his escort to wait outside as he entered the room, pulling the black gloves he wore off and tucking them into his jacket. A brief smile crossed his face as he approached Ferron, extending his hand.

"Ferron, its good to see you again."

It had been awhile since he had been summoned to a meeting with other organics. The past few times the droid had been involved in a meeting, it had been his meeting and he had called for others. The concept had been intriguing and it struck Ultimatum as playing on many of those organic sentiments that had been so important in the past. Freedom, protecting, and self-rule. Those were reacurring themes in the history of the galaxy, mainly in its rebellions against tyrannical governments. There was also the addition of monetary potentials, another good factor to bring to the table when dealing with companies.

He had arrived in system with a rental shuttle. Ultimatum had contemplated building a personal ship, or using one of ICLE's new ships, but had decided against it. There was a personal ship he was working on, but it would be awhile yet before the design was completed and this was not yet official ICLE business and therefore the use of their resources would be irresponsible. Thus, a cheap shuttle rented from a intragalactic tour organization was the answer. Ultimatum arrived alone, there were no companions or security guards for him, except for the Shard Upari, who was safely hidden away within the depths of Ultimatum's mechanical suit.

Ultimatum had noted another person arriving ahead of him, and followed the organic towards the meeting room. The droid entered and bowed a polite greeting. "Well met."

KDY Clone Soldiers would escort any of the aforementioned individuals on the list that would be meeting Ferron. As soon as it was known they had arrived their protection and secrecy was of the utmost importance. Logs would be erased. The Clones caught up with the two men and escorted them to the location that Ferron had designated. The secrecy was so the Sith nor the First Order would criminalize them. Once they arrived, they noticed the guard regiment outside of the room, and part of that guard regiment would enter the room behind them to ensure their safety. The room was dim but not dark, and there were seats set up in a circular fashion, ready for them to sit.

"Greetings, gentleman," Ferron noticed their entrance and welcomed them, "hopefully this will be the only time for secrets. But just in case you don't accept the proposal, I don't want you hunted down. Surely, you understand that? Please, take a seat, anywhere. Hopefully others will be arriving soon."
