SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The Bucket
  • Classification: Fast Food/Takeout Restaurant
  • Location: Coruscant + Any planet with a significant alien population
  • Affiliation: The Bucket Ltd.
  • Accessibility: Anyone can go there, but purchasing the food sold at the Bucket requires a membership card to prove that the customer is a member of a species requiring a higher calorie intake.
  • Description: The Bucket is a fast food chain found on most populated planets within the Alliance, as well as in other parts of the galaxy. They are known for serving members of species with a high metabolism requiring a larger caloric intake than the cuisine typically served at restaurants catering to human appetites. As the name suggests, the food is served in buckets and typically is high in protein and other necessary nutrients. However, only members, or Bucketheads, can purchase food from the Bucket - and to become a Buckethead, you have to be able to prove that you are a member of a qualifying species.
POINTS OF INTEREST
While there are variations in design for each location, the typical layout of the average Bucket restaurant is just a building shaped like a bucket. There's a window where people can order food, and maybe some indoor or outdoor seating, but that's only if you're lucky. Most Buckets are little more than indoor food stands where you get your food and get out.

SECURITY
Maximum
; attempting to buy food without a membership card will lead to you being escorted out. There are surveillance cameras at every location, and a robust computer system keeps track of who is a true Buckethead. Some locations have hidden turrets to deal with particularly unruly customers.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Bucket started out three hundred years ago as a small family-owned restaurant located in a Coruscanti neighborhood with a large Wookiee population. As the story goes, the restaurant was discovered by a young entrepreneur, who bought the place and gradually turned it into the fast food empire it is today. While there have been previous incarnations of the idea of serving large amounts of food to high-metabolic aliens, none have been as successful or as ubiquitous as the Bucket.
