It seemed young Zealot Amersis had their answer as Krarolk and the other Elite Zealots leapt into action. Tathra took his Long-Axe and Sword from his back, looking to the sudden appearance of Krykna of the surface with some confusion. How had they been hidden from him? Tathra searched in every source of sight he had, not even a heartbreak or a sound of movement. Perhaps the entity maintained the focus on those underground to cloak the movement of those above them. But as Tathra listened once more, it appeared those underground had vanished; instead they were all around them.

"Form a perimeter!" Tathra called out.

The Titan darted forward to establish the edge of the Perimeter, engaging the closest of the Krykna as he quickly cut off one of its front legs and thrust the sword into its face. Immediately, another stood up on its hind legs and thrust its mouth toward him; Tathra released his hold on the sword, allowing it to fall to the ground embedded in the faceless insect as his right hand grabbed at its face, two fingers crushing into its eyes as Tathra forced the creature to the ground with a single shove, crushing its face in his hand.

The third he cut the two legs off of with a side strike of his Axe before thrusting the beard into the centre of its mass. Another came from behind, Tathra could hear its horrible shrieking as he slid on his right knee and turned, yanking the Long-Axe free as he reached with his right hand, tearing his sword from the corpse and sliding around as he thrust the Sword upward through the centre of the Krykna. The creature fell limp as the weapon wretched through its guts. With a kick Tathra knocked the beast away, rising to his feet and slamming into the ground as more approached.

The Titan roared a satisfied battle cry, stomping on the leg of another as it came close before cutting it in half with his sword. Tathra put the sword on his back, watching as more came forward from the cavern.

"Nothing gets through!"

Reidun hardly even asked the question and the enemy had already appeared, at least she didn’t have to wait for something to happen. As the opponents were further away from them for the time being, so the girl used her rifle for now. She aimed at the weakest points of the enemy – at least what she thought it was. Such were the legs so that they could not reach them, or just the eyes and the muzzle. It was true that the opponents approached very quickly, so when they came to the convoy Reidun was also forced to change weapons.

She heard the shout, she took a few steps back to pick up the right perimeter. She let go of her rifle and let it fall to the ground. While the rifle fell, she jerked her two swords forward. With the first right-handed blow she cut off the creature's legs, and then with her left hand she split her sword into her opponent's head. As she pulled the sword out of the dead creature, she immediately stepped back so as not to dismantle the shape.

Fortunately the fight was in her blood, so she moved completely instinctively with the others as if she had always fought with them. Another blow, she heard and felt something strike her from the side, one of the creatures tried to split her side, but the armor protected her. She reciprocated the creature's kindness and slammed him with her sword. The spider's blood soiled the girl and her armor. After that she kicked the spider further away so as not to disturb her in battle.

And the fight was far from over, she heard the Chieftain's words and tried to do so, and then new enemies appeared and attacked them…

Galak struck another with a two move strike, slashing its face in half before he delivered an upper-cut to the creature, taking its strange face right off. He felt the metal grip of the RAW fight against his hand as one of the creatures snapped its jaw around it, pulling to try and take the weapon from him. In that same moment another dropped from one of the holes in the walls, landing on his back and forcing him to one knee.

Ahead, another Brute was struggling as three surrounded him. Galak couldn’t tell if he recognised him, but it didn’t matter. He was a Brute Warrior all the same. The Brute Emissary threw his elbow back into the Krykna on his back, knocking it away as he straightened his arm; firing a single blade from his wrist at the Krykan attacking him, cutting through one of its legs and causing it to stumble.

Galak turned onto his back, thrusting the gauntlet mount blade into the stomach of the Krykna; tearing it open before he kicked it back down onto the ground. Pushing himself upright, cutting off the leg off of another spider before thrusting his elbow into its face, slamming the creature into the wall.

This world. It is not yours. Everything, is ours. The blood, the flesh. This world is but another claimant in our quest to conquer the void.

The work of the Seers became like a beacon, ripples of force energy poured out from the culminated power of their species most powerful force wielders. The ground shook and trembled, the Bendu as it called itself would be forced to reveal all of its true power. The Seers were ready, ready to face whatever would come of the creatures might. For it was mortal, just like them.

Face us. Cowardly creature.

Kalanthir could feel it in his heart, the goading of a time forever ago. He felt history, conflict had scorched this planet before and the BENDU had contributed to it. It was no Warrior, but it was no coward. The Seer stood tall, mimicking the actions of its kin as they all looked to the sky. A distant storm brewing, a flash of boilding eyes.

Tathra blocked the two legged lunge of another with the shaft of the Long-Axe, catching it mid-air and thrusting it onto its back before quickly jabbing the Axe's ruby beard into its underside, the impact of the Axe's ruby beard crushed its head inward, blood squirting out like projectile liquid as the crushed fragments of its head applied pressure to the newly made hole. Two more came at his right, one behind the other as the closest raised its foremost leg to strike at Tathra. With his free hand, Tathra caught the spindly leg, raising it to block the incoming strike of the second Krykna spider, with only seconds to spare before he was set on by a third, he tore his Axe from the body of the dead Krykna, coming to one knee under the closest Krykna before cutting the leg he was holding off, and using it to push back the second spider.

Following through the momentum as he pushed up, Tathra rose and brought the Axe down on the second spider, cutting the creature in half, dropping the Long-Axe as he turned on his heel, grasping the severed limb in both hands as he stabbed it into the crippled spiders eye socket, releasing his dominant hand into a fist, striking it twice in the head with massive, powerful blows. The Krykna squealed in pain before the second strike landed, and then it fell silent.

The Titan looked to the brewing Storm, his eyes narrowing in frustration. He knew this game. Tathra extended his left palm, calling the Axe back to his dominant hand. He'd had quite enough of this charade, he knew this was all this wall. The entity was hiding behind these creatures, biding its time. What for? He didn't know. But he didn't care, it would submit the same as they arachnid beasts. When the Axe reached him, Tathra turned on his heel toward the horde of Krykna; swinging from right to left in a incredibly powerful two-handed strike. From right to left, a unstable and violent wave of kinetic red energy exploded from the Axe; cleaving through dozens of grouped up Krykna.

"Show yourself!" Tathra cried out to the storm. An invitation, a challenge.

Closer and closer. All he needed was more time. But the space around them was getting more and more crowded. Drek’ma could not ignore the worsening situation for much longer. He knew the Brutes could take on the Krykna, but if they killed too many of them they would not be a viable venture. This was a tedious procedure.

In that lapse of concentration, a spark of two yellow eyes in a storm reached the Primarch’s vision and the Primarch felt a wave of energy generated and expanded within an instant as his body and mind were forced from the Krykna, his physical form thrown back against the wall as his mind was assaulted.

The Primarch crashed against the wall, slow to rise as more Krykan moved to come to the aid of their captured kin. He lashed out with an explosive blast of lightning from his Staff; shooting multiple weak tendrils to dissuade them from attacking.

“Emissary! Hold it down!”

Galak froze as the Primarch was thrown down, shock shooting through him. He hadn’t seen what happened, but what followed reminded him that the leader of the Shamans was not one to trifle with. The Emissary dropped the body of the Krykna he’d crushed against the wall, moving to assist the Primarch.

“Form a line!” Galak ordered three Brutes to pull back, forming a defensive perimeter to guard the Primarch.

The Brute Emissary wrangled the raging Krykna, pinning its lower legs under his legs as he held back its upper legs with his two hands. The creature was strong, but what was worse was just how ugly it was. A truly putrid, sickly looking creature. It reminded him of the Sirracus Wyrms, he never particularly liked them either. Even thinking about them was unnerving.

“Quickly, Primarch!”

When the Emissary took hold of the Krykna, Drek’ma leaned in. His eyes closed, feeling the force flow through his body, the pearl orb head of his Staff began to glow and pulse with energy as the Primarch fuelled his force power into the orb, his Staff acting as a catalyst of amplification.

He pressed the Staff against the head of the Krykna, again feeling the force of the entity attempting to halt his advances. Yet, the entity was distracted - weakened. No doubt its attention had finally been drawn to those who sought it.

The Primarch weaved a powerful telepathic bond, using all his strength to force it upon the Krykna.

“You will submit!”

The Brutes of the 10th were magnificent warriors, but even they could only last so long against such odds. In such tight spaces too, one explosive and the whole system could collapse around them. Galak watched as the Primarch poured his energies into the Staff, and began his attack on the Krykna once more.

The process of control was.. Never something he would have wished to have seen again. But this was his duty, his command. The quicker the Krykna were subdued, the quicker his Brutes and the Drones could restore the wounded.

“Primarch, hurry!” Galak called, straining to hold the creature down as more approached.

In the realm of the mind, the Krykna was but a small creature. It was like trying to crush the tiniest rock underfoot. Somehow the small, instinctually resilient creature proved more a challenge than others. But he had come to realise that, for the Krykna, neutrality and separation were as instinctual as eating.

He could not break the arachnid, but rather subdue it. Like a tide, the will of Drek'ma slowly pulled the mind of the Krykna inward. Its mind drowned in his telepathic power, the reality it had known left behind as the current pulled it deeper and deeper.

The entity had seemed to avert its attention almost entirely away, giving him the chance to truly work. The Krykna would stop fighting back, its tense form loosening as its mind slumped into a catatonic state. He had found the key.

Objective A: Protect supplies

Sethrak grew tired of the wait. He had patiently waited in reserve for a while now, and battle was surely near. He had spent his time reading up on this planet, and the enemies. Essentially, there were giant spiders that were resistant to blasters. Seemed pretty easy to squash insects, but how would he know, he was sitting back, waiting to be called by his superiors. One day he'd be the superior over many more, but for now he was just a Warlock, not that Warlocks were weak.

These thoughts had simply increased his urge to battle tenfold. He knew a fight would come to him eventually. He just needed to wait a bit more.

Suddenly he got the call. Springing to his feet he sprinted to the fight.

Sure enough he saw tons of the spider-like beings rushing toward a thin battle line. Corpses of spiders were piling up, but the fight was rather close. Without even considering his actions, Sethrak leaped into the fight, immediately crushing one spider under him, then jumping to another and ripping two of its legs off and beating it with them. They were savage creatures, and Sethrak was a savage in combat. His presence as a Warlock seemed to inspire and invigorate the other fighters.

He continued to demolish the creatures, shrugging off the pain of any hits he took. Still, this fight was far from over.

It seemed there was an endless horde of them, Tathra struck to his right flank - bringing the flaming beard of the Long-Axe down on a Krykna, cutting it in half. His form hunched over, focus shifting to his periphery as another came at his left. It was an incredible large Krykna, must have got some good feeding. Tathra reached over himself with his right arm, taking his sword from his back as he planted himself to the ground; bringing his left knee down and out, pushing himself forward slightly as he struck at the arachnid with the sword. The blade chipped away at the creature as it lurched back, seemingly dodging the first blow to lunge at Tathra.

Pulling his right arm back, Tathra swivelled is upper torso left; swinging with the Axe into the large Krykna as it came at him. The blow took off one of its larger tusks, but its tougher carapace wasn't so easily cut through as its smaller kin's skin. Tathra brought the sword onto his back once more, pushing himself back a full stride and to his feet, taking a defensive stance as the massive Krykna thrust its legs at him. The Titan side-stepped the first, and grabbed the second in his right hand; stopping it in its tracks. The creature was surprised by his strength, Tathra did not waste the advantage he brought the shaft along the length of the inside of his wrist, thrusting at its face and crushing one of its eyes and half of its jaw.

Tathra immediately dropped the Axe, grasping the leg in his other hand as he kicked the creature and pulled, tearing its massive forearm out from its socket and knocking the creature back. He threw the arm aside, using the bond of the Axe to call it back to his grasp as he launched into a vicious assault against the large arachnid. With one two handed strike, Tathra cut off the large cylindrical torso of the large Krykan, thrusting his free hand into its now exposed body, turning on his heel as he threw the body back at the Krykna.

Reidun also continued to fight, sending more spider-like creatures to the afterlife. A few creatures were lying at her feet or right next to her, some were positioned so that they were in her way, so she tried to kick them aside so as not to disturb her. But she didn't give up, she kept fighting. And the creatures seemed unwilling to run out, as if their numbers were endless they came constantly. The Chieftain’s attack impressed her how skilled and excellent the man was.

She, too, wanted to be such a mighty warrior one day, but this day was not that day. While she was fighting two spiders, a third tried to climb on her and bit the armor over the girl's shoulder. She killed those in front of her with two quick blows, then she tried to drop the third from her shoulder, as soon as the spider creature hit the ground it attacked again. Though Reidun's shoulder ached, she was able to stab the creature in the head.

Then she heard the Chieftain say that he had called someone up. At first Reidun didn't really understand what it was, since she saw nothing but spider creatures. Or something, maybe someone controlled the spiders? But she didn't have time to break her head on this because more spiders rushed to kill her and probably devour her…

When the Krykna seemingly stopped resisting, Galak was quick to rise to his feet watching as the Krykna had stopped. They had not retreated, but simply stopped moving. Galak raised his gauntlet, he didn't hear much in the ways of continued fire but he wanted to be sure.

"Hold!" Galak called for a cease, they were wasting ammunition and potential weaponry. They kept their weapons primed, ready for combat. Ceasing hostilities was a small mercy, but no one was about to let their guard down. The Brute stood still, mulling over what to say. He hadn't been ini this situation before, things that training or experience never covered was always difficult.

"Stay alert." Galak finally spoke again before lowering his gauntlet. Hefting his rifle, turning to look at the stalking Krykna. All those black beedy eyes were unnerving

Blood and guts.

Krarolk lost himself in the blood and guts of his enemies, his thoughts limited to finding the weak point of the next creature who lunged at him and his mount. Many of the pale monsters fell to the unrelenting rage of Krarolk and his mount, even as they continued to arrive in greater numbers. He was given a brief break in the fighting as his Skag's mighty tail caved in the skulls of two approaching spider-like creatures, knocking them back and ending their life at the same time. Krarolk took the oppurtunity to look around, ensuring that the Seers and his fellow Zealot Elites were safe. The Seers remained away from the battlefield, and the other two Elites were still tearing through the horde. But as the Zealot turned back to face his foes once more, he noticed a comrade of his struggling to keep the hordes back.

"I'll be back soon." stated Krarolk to his Skag. "Tear them apart for me."

In a single fluid motion, the Zealot Elite leapt off his Skag and landed with his glaive's blade several inches in a spider-creature's head. With another push of his muscular legs, Krarolk positioned himself on the left flank of the junior Zealot, glaive still dripping with the organs of the creature he had skewered.

"You've fought well." called out the Elite to the Minor. "The two of us should finish this together."

As Krarolk turned to face the next group of spider-creatures, he noticed a disturbance in the sky. A storm was forming, at such a rapid pace that it could not be natural. Already, the sky had darkened considerably. Additionally, the spiritual energy within Krarolk felt more unsteady than ever before. What was normally a pristine pond had now been set upon by a typhoon, and Krarolk's entire body vibrated with the force of it.

"Careful now." continued Krarolk. "Something powerful is approach-"

He was cut off by a lightning bolt. It landed about four meters ahead and to the left of the two Zealots, instantly electrocuting multiple spider-creatures. A second landed several meters away with similar destructive power. At this rate, the entire battlefield would soon become unsuitable for life.

The balance shifts. The false god enacts its will. Upon flesh, bone and earth.

The Seers turned their accumulated forces to the storm, the shadow that shrouded the mind of the BENDU was beginning to come undone. They had called it coward, scorched its land as it now did in a fit of rage.

The blood! The roots of the void! You cannot hide. BENDU.

This savage land would be theirs. Seer Kalanthir stepped out from the convoy, with a wave of his hand half-disintegrating three Krykna as they approached. His mind turning to the shadow colossus in the sky, the eyes of gold burned bright. Yet still, the creature remained UNSEEN. Kalanthir snarled, nearly entering a state of shock as extremely turbulent waves of power funnelled through him. As a Seer he was the catalyst for his brethren, he - one of their youngest was the chosen undesired, expendable. A match that once lit could possibly burn out for good.

You will suffer ME. Face our mightiest, he who calls you coward!

A backdoor in his mind spoke to their Chieftain. They knew what was needed - what was necessary.

Tathra bounded forward, eager to attack the Krykna. But something made him stop, his mind thought it was because the Krykna seemed to retreat; but his instincts felt a shadow on his shoulder. The cloth of his tunics flowed in the wind, rippling in the wind against his thighs and waist. Shards of lightning and wind sporadically cascading across the battlefield.

-You know what to do-

The words rang in his head, perhaps alien or perhaps not. He did not know, all Tathra felt in incredible intensity was the urge to turn around. When he did, it was as if the world had been painted over. A grand emptiness, no trees no bodies - nothing but endless desert.

Tathra stumbled back a step when he turned, taken aback.

"What sorcery is this?" The Titan growled, raising his Long-Axe into a defensive guard. He would fight this BENDU tooth and nail if he had to. For his kind, for the Galaxy.

But that was not meant to come to pass. The ground beneath him became unsteady, his mind panicked - quicksand? When Tathra looked down, it was skulls. Skulls of all kinds of species, as far as the eye could see. Trillions of skulls encompassing the entire planet. Somehow, he knew every one. They were all the victims of his conquest. Draelvasier and alien alike. His breath quickened, sinking into the nothing. For every stride he made to pull himself out, he sunk deeper and with greater pull.

His eyes wide. Fear taking hold as his arms and head reached for the sky, the Titan screamed in terror as his vision became clouded, his breath thin and weak. When he sunk, he could not feel nor move. Was he dying?

No, not the world. Reality. FIGHT.

Tathra pushed, against what he could not know but he knew in his heart only what he believed could kill him would. This contest of wills would not be won by this entity, this cowardly BENDU. Tathra fought, his swaying beginning to make strides as he rose to the edge, gasping for air as he came above the sea of bones. When he did, those glowing eyes stared through him. Tathra found himself in the eye of the storm, a terribly cold storm; snow and ice dancing in bonded circles around them like a shield.

Tathra pried the fingers of the gigantic furred beast free from his lungs, falling to the ground. His hand instinctively reached out, though he could not feel his Axe. Nor did he find his Sword upon his back, he was entirely disconnected from his kin - they would not find him here. The Bendu had taken him into seclusion with it.

TATHRA KHAEUS. CHIEFTAIN...!

Objective A-Protect supplies, beasts, etc.

The battle continued. Sethrak had stopped paying attention to how many he killed, or where they were. Now relying on the force for energy and strength more than ever, the battle had truly challenged him. He wasn't used to growing tired, but of course, he was a young one. He found himself surrounded by three of the spider creatures, all rushing toward him at once. He concentrated, focusing on the middle one, he leapt into the air, landing behind it, and beat it down. The other two turned toward him, one grabbing at his arm with it's mouth. Sethrak quickly backed up, avoiding a lost limb. Anger filled him. He was a Warlock of the Brynadul empire, he would not succumb to these INSECTS . He looked back toward the armory, the others were fighting equally as hard. Sethrak squinted, finally finding what he was looking for: A Kasurigama.

He had trained half of his life to master the weapon, still it proved some difficulty, but in a fight like this, the versatility and lethality of it was perfect. He ignored the spiders and sprinted toward the weapon, each step a leap. Faster He told himself . The force answered his call, infusing him with energy comparable only to adrenaline. He became faster still, reaching the weapons within seconds. Without hesitating, he swung the mace side, crushing one, then thrust the bladed side into the other, caving it's mouth in over the blade.

Back into the fray Sethrak thought. Suddenly his concentration was shattered as he was thrown back by a flash of light followed by a loud explosion. Darkness had covered the battlefield but he hadn't even noticed in his fury. However, now he saw it, as he was flat on his back. Suddenly, more flashes of light and heat erupted around him. He rose to a sitting position as he saw what was happening. Lightning was striking the entire battlefield. More and more rapidly, the field became a minefield. Every step could lead to a blast of lightning. Sethrak jumped to his feet and backed away. Apparently the lightning did not discriminate, a spider was blasted by a direct hit, sending steaming guts everywhere.

Unsure of what to do, Sethrak looked for Tathra in the chaos....

Krarolk witnessed a bolt of lightning strike the Chieftain directly in the chest.

Yet instead of absorbing the blow, taking damage, or even dying, the great Titan of the Byrn simply vanished. It did not resemble any methods of teleportation that Krarolk had ever seen, as none could make a being as large as Chieftain Tathra simply disappear upon being caught within a storm. The only possible culprit could be the hidden supernatural power at work on the planet.

"The Chieftain has vanished!" yelled Krarolk, shock and urgency filling his voice. "The Seers have command for now, hold the line!"

The Zealot Elite would not let his fear be known. Countless years of training had taught him to remain strong even in the worst of situations, proudly charging into the front lines of a battle even if it meant certain death. Cowardice was not only unthinkable, but also potentially lethal to the entire operation. So for the sake of the operation on Atollon, Krarolk would suppress his shock and fear, focusing only on his rage and desire to rip the spider-creatures apart.

The Zealot charged forwards, stabbing and slicing with animalistic rage. When he was too close to his enemies to use his glaive, he moved his spirit energy to his axes and continued to slice. Once his axes were embedded too deep into his enemies to pull out without leaving himself vulnerable, Krarolk ripped apart the creatures with his bare hands. He gouged one creature's eyes out, snapped its neck, ripped its head out, and hurled it at another spider-creature with enough force to knock it down. Three more lunged at Krarolk, only to be fried by a bolt of lightning. However, Krarolk's luck would soon run out as another bolt landed centimeters from him, only dodged due to his swift reflexes. Its heat made Krarolk feel as if he was inside a volcano, even though the bolt had not directly hit him.

The impact of the bolt distracted the Zealot once again, giving him enough time to look behind him. There, the Seer who he had confided in earlier was beginning to unleash his mystical powers, which made the Zealot's spiritual pond seem as if it were a mere puddle in comparison. Krarolk hoped that the Seer's efforts would help bring back the Chieftain, regardless of where he had vanished to and what condition he was in.

In the meantime, the Zealot continued to brutalize the scattered horde, his armor covered in the blood and organs of spider-creatures.

Something changed. The Krykna had lost their... power. Something has shifted, he could feel it. The Primarch rose to his feet, not exactly to look anywhere but to remove himself from his surroundings. His essence, shifting away from the tunnels, away from the Krykna to the planet beyond them. To... a storm.

A storm that signalled the resurface of the entity, it had finally showed itself. But, something they had not expected had happened. It had taken the Chieftain, and now it was trying to kill him. They would make it vulnerable, and then they would kill it.

The Primarch turned to Galak; unblinking eyes staring at the Emissary with some small show of concern in his face.

"It has taken the Chieftain. With me, Galak. The other Shamans will collect the Krykna."

The Primarch generated a white circular portal in front of them, encompassing Galak and the surrounding Brutes.
