Objective: Kill the Spider
Post: Seven

Tathra struck upward, volleys of red energy striking the interior cave walls - using the Axe's new telekinetic abilities to rip large chunks from the walls - pulling them down toward the spider beast as it swerved through the water toward him. It was incredible agile, dashing between the plummeting pieces of debris. Its dozens of eyes all over its torso must have had incredible eyesight, it was able to see them coming even before they got close to the water. He wasn't afraid of getting hit, he'd make it regret it.

The massive creature collided into him, Tathra's Axe striking into its head repeatedly as it drove down. Tathra thrust the Axe repeatedly into its flesh, but it was doing nothing. They were getting too close to the tunnels for his liking. He quickly realised he was hitting the wrong spots to get it to stop, he thrust his empty hand into one of its eyes, squishing it as he tore the retinae from its socket. Indiscernible sounds echoed out from the creature, he assumed it was a scream as it pulled away from him, racing toward the top of the cave river. Relief filled the Titan as he used both arms to swim up as quickly as he could, the collision had knocked the air out of him and he dared not think what would happen to him if he passed out in these waters. He'd never be found, left to rot.

That drove him to swim harder, though it seemed he hadn't scared it off. He couldn't see it but in his gut he knew it was watching him, thinking. As he reached the free-air he gasped, inhaling hard. He knew it was coming, he could feel the tremors in the water.

"Come and get me."

He had a plan, he swam as fast as he could to the wall of the cave; knowing it was covering the distance that took him a minute a few seconds. The Titan dove down into the water as the creature came at him full speed, he waited till the last possible moment before propelling himself upwards as the giant spider crashed into the wall. Using the telekinesis of the Axe he yanked himself down toward it, hacking and slashing at its head and eyes as the creature railed, its dozens of arms swinging at him until one got hold of him and threw the Titan across the river, crashing through part of a wall connected to a very large exit to the tunnel.

It was even angrier now, prancing out from the river after him on its six massive legs, each of them nearly seventy metres in length. Its torso only accounted for ten. Tathra scrambled, it was a little slower on land but still faster than him. But, if he lead it out into the mountians it'd be easier for him to fight.

Objective: Deliberation

The storm had passed, or perhaps it had not. The Seer could not know if truth be told. They faced unprecedented times, but all the same they fought against them admirably. There had never been quite such battles as this, not even in the recorded history of this Galaxies recent events. A battle unlike any other where a relatively new force in the Galaxy stood and fought tooth and nail against both Jedi and Sith.

Even as though those whom survived struggled against the things they had faced and lost or perhaps even discovered, the Bryn'adûl had survived. They had lived on. Something truly admirable, no species would ever be able to deny them that.

The roots ran deep, the blood of the roots coursed through the veins of the Titan and his off-spring. The force was with them, but even the Seers had felt the echo of Tathra's mind, the Titan died and was reborn on Nar Kreeta. They felt his mind die and rise with new light, strengthened and resilient. They did not know what to suspect, but it seemed as though that critical moment had been a half-truth.

He had died perhaps, yes. But he had been reborn renewed and stronger for it.

It did not help that the world they were on, Garel was quite so dull and depression. Its grey morning dews reminded him of heaps of ash, a depressive thought. But he was here to oversee the recovery of some of his best Juggernauts from the 10th. He didn't intend on leaving until he was sure they would survive. He supposed there was some pride to be found in that, even though this world tortured his mind he was still here for his fellow brethren.

Just as Tathra survived horrid encounter after encounter, he would survive this. Somehow, Nar Kreeta and all the awful things that happened on that planet and Ankhypt had helped him see that he was destined to me a hand of Khaeus. It was what he was meant for, truly what he was meant for. He would have it no other way. He found some strength, some solace in knowing that.

He walked out from the interior of the barracks, out to the open. His eyes travelled along the curvatures of the mountains, there had been barely enough left of Pavium to bury but they regrew what they could from his dead tissue to bury him properly. Even then they still incinerated them as they did with all who were honoured with all they could. But even still, Galak had a promise to keep.

"Your sacrifice won't be in vain, Pavium. I promise brother."

He turned the corner of the massive cave/tunnel. Light shun from above, trickles of water coming down through the cracks in the ground. Perhaps this lead up to the opening in the cave he'd seen before. The spider creature wasn't too far behind it, its various legs pulled it through the tunnel, different tendrils and legs walking across every section of the wall as it scuttled toward him. He broke into full on sprint, throwing slashes of red energy back at the creature to slow it down. Only thing that happened instead was the cave shook as it tried to crush itself into a wall to dodge his attacks.

As they reached the top of the tunnel, Tathra realised he was correct - but to his advantage the water was much more shallow, only a few feet deep. The giant creature struck him in the back, the Titan grunted as his Axe was thrown from his grasp, crashing halfway through the water on his stomach. It had swatted him like a fly and now it was coming for him, using its legs to pull itself from the tunnel interior into the cave. Tathra rolled onto his stomach as one of its six massive legs came crashing down on where he lay, trying to crush him. He rolled aside, taking his sword from his back he swung with both hands into the massive leg. The sword surely pierced the carapce but it didn't get much further than that. The giant spider shrieked, its small pincer surrounded circular mouth snarling from its underside.

"So that's where I need to stick my fist." The Titan spoke to himself, calling back the Axe to his grasp.

A flood of the creatures smaller more flexible tendrils flew toward him, extending out from around the six more ridged arms and its underbelly - wriggling towards him. Tathra darted past the first few, slashing them as the Axe came into both of his hands. Others grabbed at his limbs, attempting to restrain him. They were so numerous that they were able to overpower him, dragging him toward the creatures face. The closer he got, he realised its mouth was as big as he was. Rows of hundreds of teeth flexing and pulsing as it drooled, its eyes blinking at him. He struggled, waiting until he got close to wrestle his left arm free, slashing with a vast and powerful blast of red energy - severing most of the creatures arms and taking off a portion of its jaw. The creature dropped him, wailing in pain as purple-blue blood oozed from its wounds, stomping on the ground to try and crush him as Tathra leapt aside.
