Looking over hazy red city, a smile slowly formed on Hilal's face, It felt good to be back on Mon Gazza again.
In a way it felt like Hilal's stomping ground, a planet where she made her mark of fame and glory. It wasn't due to her innovations in technology nor her prowess as a Bounty Hunter. It was because Hilal was the first human to win Zugga Challenge, one of the most challenging Podracing tracks in Galaxy. Hilal remembered the cheers and adulation she received the moment she crossed the finish line. She remembered nearly fainting at the crowd chanting her name as she completed her victory lap, she remembered going to the podium and (barely) lifting up the trophy over her head.
In just one race, Hilal became a household name in the mining planet no, the entire system. When Hilal landed back on Mon Gazza, the inhabitants rushed to her wanting her autograph, a selfie, or tips in becoming a great Podracer. It was the attention that Hilal wanted all her life and yet here she was overwhelmed. Yet, she made pains not to let it interfere with her job which was to track down a woman named Vessandra Kostyre and bring her back to her husband. The client was an interesting fellow, a nice guy though a bit on edge when talking about his wife. Based on his tone, it sounded like he wanted this Vassandra back for her business savvy rather than true love. Still whether they were in love or not, a contract was a contract, but it was made worse when the husband told Hilal that she was a Force sensitive. Not a stinking Jedi but it was enough to have Hilal demand double the price. To her surprise, the client tripled it.
It didn't take Hilal long to track Vessandra down, finding her ship in the Mid Rim but Hilal wanted to lead Vess to a location of her own choosing. She hatched a plan to have her faithful Droid: D.V.A pilot her Starship to have Vess think that she was chasing in space. In reality, Hilal would land on Mon Gazza early and intercept Vessandra as soon as she lands. There wasn't many civilized planets this deep in the Mid Rim besides Mon Gazza. DVA would heard the ship onto the planet and Hilal would do the rest. Hilal's HUD picked up a message from DVA saying that Vessandra has landed on Mon Gazza and is on her way to a local Cantina unaware that Hilal was already on the planet. "Roger," Hilal said her HUD focusing on Vessandra. "Monitor Vessandra's movements. I'm on my way!"
With a quick thrust from her Repulsor pack Hilal flew down on to the city. Excitement swelled in her heart.
"Just another great day as a Bounty Hunter!" she giggled to herself.
