Duel The Blind Leading The Blind

Even after everything that had been accomplished, no doubt that parting comment would be enough to send Auraya spiralling back into either some sort of worry or anger, expeced though it had been. "Perhaps," was all he replied as Sarad turned to leave, before walking his way up to the girl. "Come, Auraya, let's take a break for now, find something to eat. You need it." And this time, when he reached out to take her arm, it was him who started pulling her in the direction of the street—and away from Sarad.

A very slow blink was given in response to Sarad's parting words, though they hadn't even been directed her way.
Her mouth opened, then shut, then opened again as she gawped and floundered like a fish pulled onto dry land. Don't pursue it further... Those four words knocked about the inside of her skull for what felt like an eternity as she simply stared at him. Had she been taken for a fool? Had something been lost in translation? Was she just not clear enough when she'd made her terms known?
Before she knew it, Davron was actively pulling her away from the situation. Her fists had balled up at her side, and her already flustered cheeks seemed to deepen into a ruddier state. Her nostrils flared with indignation.
"But, he agreed---"
Her muscles tensed and frustration drifted up through her. Still, Davron was stronger than she was and ultimately his tugging won out. She followed after him, out from the park and back into the city where they could at least try and get back on track with their day.
