Description: The Blackblade Guard originally was created as a personal bodyguard / elite commando battalion in service to the then Imperial Minister of Intelligence, Kaine Zambrano, during the earliest days of the Old Sith Empire. Members of this unit were pulled from the highest ranking graduates of the academies at the behest of the Minister, and were taught the methods of Imperial Agents, making them versatile soldiers for both open war and espionage. Their first tour of combat was on the Mandalorian world of Junction, where they were first put up against Mandalorians warriors in Junction City, and despite being initially outclassed by the Mandalorians, the survivors studied the combat techniques and created a detailed anti-Mandalorian combat doctrine for newer recruits.

Their ability to adapt on the battlefield proved crucial during the Battle of Concord Dawn, where instead of being instantly cut down by the Mandalorians, the proto-Blackblades were able to meet their warriors on equal footing, and towards the end of the battle they were able to rout the Mandalorians as the battle turned in the favor of the Imperials. However; during the Second Battle of Junction the proto-Blackblades were in turn routed by the Jedi Knights of the Republic, who had come to aid the Mandalorians at their behest. When the war ended, the proto-Blackblades went back to being the bodyguards of Grand Vizier Kaine Zambrano, but steadily grew in strength and expertise during the Empire's period of rapid expansion, and were first christened as the Blackblade Guard.

After the Battle of Roche the Blackblade Guard created their anti-Jedi doctrine, and was first successfully tested at the Battle of Metalorn, which allowed the Blackblades to take down Jedi apprentices and knights during the fighting. The Blackblades then went on the tweak their anti-Jedi doctrine constantly on the eve of the Imperial-Republic Great War, and proved to be a devastating force on Ossus and Dac, but were ultimately routed to Thule at the end of the war. When Kaine was freed from his imprisonment at the hands of the Republic and Jedi, the Blackblades followed him in his exodus to the Pacanth Reach, and became his primary force to conquer and unify the various Epicanthix worlds into a singular government.

Recently the Blackblades have seen combat on Coruscant, Alderaan, Empress Teta, Manaan, and Kashyyyk. The Blackblades were also the prime instrument used by Kaine Zambrano during the Genocide of Togoria, making them one of the most infamous paramilitary organizations in modern history, and are feared the instant they set foot on any world.

[member="Darth Vornskr"] If it's possible I'd like commander or centurion position, please.

Inside the BBIA would be beneficial.

The BB-IA went defunct after the Old Empire's collapse, and when the Blackblade Guard lost most of it's complex organization and just went back to being an elite paramilitary army.

I meant what rank would you prefer?

Centurion is the best starter position.

Definitely!

It'll work even better because, as Vornskr is a member of the Imperial Inquisition alongside [member="Darth Hauntruss"], the Blackblades will be his go-to force for dealing out Imperial justice and what not.
